Welcome to Tailgate Brewery
A.j. P.

Next to the ballpark, awesome! Sweet Tea from a can, not so awesome. Nashville Hot - Wings so-so. Great atmosphere, great view of the scoreboard, and outside seating. This is an order and sit spot. Wings were typical, nothing to yelp-about, lol. My order came in a timely manner, I got the Sweet Tea...they brought me a can. The taste was good, did not taste like from a can. I did not order the pizza, and my Nashville Hot - wings were a dry rub, I was hoping for a saucy wing. This is the spot to be before the game starts. Stop by if you get to the game early.

Brewery done right. Samplers all-day-long. Chicken vodka sandwich, pretzel bites and wings were great for sharing. Service was The right amount of good attention, samples and solicited advice. Sad they were out of the Tailgate lemonade and the Punch Sour.

Great in-house beer selection of their own beers. This location also features a limited option of cocktails and wine. The food is mostly pizza options, but they do have a wide variety of mostly what I'd call American cuisine. Feels like a standard bar, right near the baseball stadium. Service was great and friendly.

Aleah!!

Love it here! Vibes are great and their Wednesday half price pizza is the best !!! The wait staff is also incredible and very fast paced.

Stopped by this location of Tailgate on Labor Day to try their September pizza of the month: jalapeño popper! Delicious! My husband and I also did a flight of their seltzers. He ordered the chicken a la vodka sandwich which was also amazing. This location is perfectly situated in Germantown and the staff was so friendly. There is an outdoor patio with seating that is also dog friendly. Parking can be hit or miss for free spots but there are multiple paid lots.

This is a spacious bar that also serves food, which makes it a great spot to hang out with friends. And the food is good! I had a pizza, and was honestly surprised just how good it was. They also have quite a number of beers on tap, representing many different varieties and including local beers. I found the service to be attentive, friendly, and prompt. I actually just stopped in to grab a bite while waiting for someone, so I chose the spot purely out of convenience. But I'll definitely return anytime I'm hanging out in German town.

Yummy yummy!! Cool vibes, great hangout spot, delicious pizza, phenomenal location (right next to the baseball field). I'll definitely be back!

Mexican street corn pizza

Had a really great experience at Tailgate! The food was realllly good for a brewery. Lots of fun pizzas and sandwiches, we got the mexican street corn pizza and the chicken a la vodka sandwich. Both were delicious and enough to fill you up. I enjoyed their seltzer flight, the strawberries and cream was my favorite flavor. Their craft seltzers weren't too carbonated or too sweet. As for the aesthetics, so cool that this location is right at the Sounds stadium! It's also a South Carolina gamecock bar so keep that in mind if you're there on a Saturday when they are playing. Tons of TVs, so perfect spot to watch your favorite sport for a few hours. It was pretty busy when we went, so the line to order at the bar could get a little long at times, but the staff was very nice and worked to get our food & drinks out as soon as possible. If you're local, considering joining their Mug Club for some perks/discounts at all of their locations. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in Nashville!

Really a 3.5 experience rounded up. Quality/Quantity - Loaded Taco Fry Basket - My daughter loved this, I did not. Marzen - Good, but nothing special. I also tried the Pumpkin and did not like it. *Missing a few pictures, I had the most trouble with Yelp uploading my photos on this trip... Atmosphere - Good size space, indoor and outdoor seating. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm or 10pm. Service - Counter service. But everyone was friendly. Greeted us when we walked in. Self seating, self ordering, etc. Can I suggest a larger sign, maybe one hanging where the bar register is to let people from a far know where to order? Loyalty program, mug club. Tours available. Price - $30. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2014 and with your 8 locations.

Build your own pizza - breaded chicken, pickles, hot honey glaze (1/2 price Wednesdays!)
Dustin H.

I love this location because it's so convenient to stop in for a beer and/or a bite prior to seeing a show next door at Brooklyn Bowl. Half price pizzas on Wednesdays (and the pizzas are delicious), a wide variety of beer styles, always friendly service, and the food is always great.

Great sports bar. Very large spacious place. Love that you have to drink local brewed beer. We had wings and fries and they were great. Highly recommend

Although we were ordering for two people, we wanted to try as many flavors as possible, so we ordered two 14-inch pizzas split between two flavors each, along with a half order of garlic knots. For the first pizza, we tried half Spicy Hawaiian and half Rocket Pie. For the second, we went with half Dave's Pie and half Habanero Cream Sauce. All four combinations offered a unique flavor experience, and everything was delicious. The different toppings and sauces made each option feel distinct, making this a great way to sample several of the menu's offerings in one order. My personal favorite was the Habanero Cream Sauce, which stood out among the four combinations. I also appreciated that the fresh greens served with some of the pizzas came on the side, keeping them fresh until we were ready to eat. The portions were generous, and ordering two pizzas for two people left us with plenty of leftovers. Even better, the leftovers tasted just as good the next day, making the order well worth it. One practical consideration is that the area can get fairly busy during peak hours, which may make parking and pickup a little challenging. I would recommend having one person get out to collect the order while the driver circles the block rather than trying to find a place to park. Overall, Five Points Pizza East was an excellent game-day takeout option. The pizzas were flavorful, the combinations were creative, and the portions offered great value. I would happily order from here again, especially when looking to try something beyond the usual pizza toppings.

I tried St. Vito Focacceria while on a business trip in Nashville. I tried to not be influenced by the fact that Dave Portnoy reviewed it, and that they hold a Michelin recognition. But tbh, I can't say for sure that I wasn't biased. Their pizza is a thick, airy hybrid between pizza and focaccia. Some people call it Sicilian-style pizza, although I can't confidently say whether it's true Sicilian or not. I've heard traditional Sicilian pizza can be a bit thinner, but whatever category this falls into, it's delicious and unique. What I ordered: - Pepperoni: because c'mon, you can't have pizza without pepperoni. I liked this one as the better of the two. - The classic: with them naming it the classic you have to at least try it, right? The classic was excellent too though to me, just really tased like the pepperoni without the pepperoni. For both The sauce is a little sweeter than what I'm used to, but not in a bad way. In fact, I think Dave was spot on when he said you can't really compare this directly to traditional pizza. It's pretty much in its own category. Don't expect a classic New York or Neopolitan. Of note, I decided to literally run over from my hotel rather than do delivery. The trip to/from was only about half a mile each way, but it makes me feel better to think I physically earned my pizza by burning a few calories first. Surprisingly, the slices held up well inside the box on the run back to the hotel. Dave gave this place an 8.1. But my palette is not as refined as his. For me, I'd give them a solid 5 out of 5 stars (no decimals for me) Next time I'll dine in instead of taking it to go. It was a pretty casual ambiance when entered so i could have dined in with my casual workout clothes. Maybe I should have just asked them if I could convert my takeout to dine in.

The chefs counter is the best eat in the house though! Front row seat to all the magic and get to interact a bit more with the chefs and kitchen staff. The menu is small, but mighty. They have a few house dishes and pasta dishes, but we were there for the pizza! Went with classic potato and pepperoni slice. Both were phenomenal, but the potato was the clear winner! Desert looked and sounded great, but we ended up collectively saying no...but I'm still dreaming about that tiramisu, so o have to go back! Service was stellar. Frankie's -- Our New Go-To Italian Restaurant!…read more Frankie's is definitely not a restaurant you want to judge by its cover. Walking in, we honestly didn't have the highest expectations--but our perspective changed very quickly! The service was friendly, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. Our waitress walked my wife through the cocktail options, while the sommelier offered to take our bottle of wine and chill it in their cellar. Those little touches made a great first impression. And the food? An absolute 10! As our waitress highlighted the menu, I asked if they had bruschetta. They didn't, but she suggested combining two dishes to create our own--and we did! Their Heirloom Tomato Salad was fantastic, especially paired with their olive oil. The flavor was terrific. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Tennessee Corn Ravioli with Crispy Prosciutto, and I had the Cavatelli with Hot Sausage and Browned Sage Butter. Both were absolutely fantastic. Since moving here, we've been looking for our "go-to" Italian restaurant--and we found it! Overall, we couldn't have been happier. The food was a 10/10, and the service and care from our waitress and the management were excellent. We'll be back over and over and over! Our only suggestion: as the sun sets, several tables get hit with direct sunlight. A little shade would make the experience even better and keep guests from getting blinded during dinner. But that's a very small issue compared with how great everything else was. Frankie's is a winner!
