    Cheese sticks

If you were here when it was Southside, there's really not a lot of difference visible other than the lack of pool/snooker tables. I'm sure there is some somewhere, but when I walked in for the first time I kept wondering why it had remained closed so long with signs that Corner Bar was coming soon. I'd expected extensive remodel for some reason. I was a fan of Corner Bar when it was on Elliston (is it still?) and when I walked in it felt ... nope, it's still feeling Southside. There's something sharp and annoying about the echoes and when people scream about a touchdown it echoes back sharp and something terrible. Basically someone needs to put some soundproofing around the joint. Same as when it was Southside. Egg foam sound baffle things in some strategic locations. Inside is too echoey, outside is chainsmokers. Something I could handle being around 20 years ago, but my abilities to be around smokers have waned in my twilight years. You know what, it's not for me, I moved in, not putting them down. My companions ordered the cheese sticks and I realized I don't think I had ever ordered food at Georges or Corner Bar. I am told it was bar food. We ended up heading out of there after a drink - things were not going to work for us that day as the outside was plumes of smoke, and the inside was ear-jarring. That's cool, people were having fun. I just needed to be about 3 drinks down the road to handle that. I suspect any day there wasn't a packed crowd watching a game the inside would have been auditorily fine. I dug it, doesn't really feel like the old Georges / Corner Bar Elliston, but then again I have not been there in a long time. I think it'll do great.

Reasons can be contemplated, stories of past horror can shared at dinner circles and only one thing remains: courage. The courage to do it again, to get the dish that scares many yet has a flamboyant attraction to its core. Puckett's started in Tennessee and the Nashville location has been running since 2010. Situated a block or two from broadway, the clientele will be heavily touristic here. But a careful distinction must be made, this is not a tourist trap. It's an excellent restaurant with hearty food and kind staff. The casual and open space has the vibe of a classic all American restaurant from decades ago. So yes, get the meatloaf. It's excellent.

We were a group of 8, but I had no problem making a reservation on Yelp on a Monday night. The place really hasn't changed...great live music and a nice menu. I ordered the ribs with sides of Mac n cheese and mashed sweet potatoes. I wasn't crazy about the dry rub on the ribs but thought the sides were excellent. If you're coming here on a weekend, make sure you make a reservation, this place is very popular in Nashville!

I ordered the wrap, all the ingredients tasted fresh but the wrap tasted very much like a gas station wrap. The turkey in it was not good and tasted cheap and old. The fries on the other hand were pretty good. The Mac and cheese was also very creamy and good. Service was absolutely terrible. When I ordered an IPA I just asked her to get me whatever she recommended. Her response was "I don't know I hate IPAs" okay, can't you ask a bartender for dealers choice. Ridiculous. We didn't great our drink order until sitting for 30 mins. We didn't get our food order for almost an hour after sitting and instead of asking us what we wanted to order they just came by to take the menus. I had to say "can't we order food" which made them stop and take our order. Terrible, terrible service. I've had better food, I'd go elsewhere.

My friends and I sat outside and although it took awhile for our waitress to find us & get our food & drink orders I wouldn't fault them as it was packed prior to the game. I had the cheese curds as an app (large portions & very good) & the honey barbecue chicken tenders with fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries as they are thick and square cut which isn't my favorite style, but the chicken tenders were some of the best I have had. No stringy bits you often get at restaurants, just good fresh tasting chicken. Sauce was good as well. Would come back, the buffalo chicken chimichanga sounded really enticing

There is plenty of seating as this restaurant is in a large food hall. The staff was very friendly and our order came out rather quick! I'm back home now, but to this day I still think about the flavors of this burger... it was hands down one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! I ordered the Farm Burger without the egg and it was incredible! When you take your first bite all the flavors explode in your mouth. Instead of French fries I opted for tater tots and I loved that this was an option! They were made to perfection and nice and crispy! My boyfriend ordered the White Oak BBQ Burger. He said he really liked it and it was delicious. He opted tater tots as well, and he said they were exactly what he wanted. After trying a bite of my Burger he said next time he's ordering that one! I can't wait for the next time we go back to Nashville so we can go back to Pharmacy Burger!

Mustard was killer. Sides were all mid (chili, sweet potato fries, German potato salad). Sat on their patio and it was a fly attack. Kinda ruined the experience. They have outdoor volleyball, huge outdoor seating/patio area, with cornhole. It sometimes looks like the aftermath of a rush week frat party, but that just means people were raging the night before and you missed out. Amirite? They've got 2 pool tables, snack candy food dispenser, video poker, jukebox, AND several old school arcade machines. They had them before all the hipster barcades started too popping up too, talk about OG bar fun I tell you. They have a deadbeat DJ playing top 40s and decent hiphop on weekends, with a solid sound system and great acoustics for the venue because of its lodge-esq feel and open air wooded infastructure. The fact that it turns into a dance club atmosphere with bass booms, lasers lights, and low lighting is a nice breath of fresh air compared to the honkey skonk suet downtown. Nothing special, just a nice dance club dive at night. This atmosphere also attracts hoodwinks, so be warned. Theyre all honestly harmless as long as youre not acting like a complete doucet - or wearing a certain gang color (sarcasm?). For demographics, this bar is par for the course in its neck of the woods. I hate that they dont serve drinks in real glasses though, only plastic. Theyve got a wide variety of TVs, not the biggest, but they do the job. They also have poker on Wednesday nights. The food is pretty decent, they actually use a grill. The grilled chicken sandwich is actually curiously fantastic.
