Incredible service and everything on menu is good. Specials every single day and with a friendly staff. Great neighborhood spot

Twilight Tavern is the kind of place that I would want to be a regular at. I have gone there a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is so yummy and the service is great. It's a perfect place for a nice dinner after work or a casual lunch any time. They have a parking lot right outside so parking is always easy. A huge plus especially in Nashville! The pictures featured include a Fiesta Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburger with Cheddar Cheese, French Dip with Swiss Cheese, and Cheeseburger Sliders.

First time coming here and it's not really what I expected (from the website pics etc) I first noticed how dark it was in here, all the lights were off. I then realized they probably have all the lights off because they don't have air conditioning. Fans were going but I lost most of my appetite because of the heat. The kitchen is open behind the bar which doesn't help the hot factor. I sat at the bar and put my arm into straight sticky. I first thought the bar was dirty, but then saw that whatever the bar was sealed with is peeling up across the whole bar, so the whole bar is a sticky mess with stuff peeling off. My Seoul rolls were ok, but not worth $9.99. The staff was nice, and there are a lot of beers on tap. I'm not always in Nashville, so next time I'm back I wouldn't choose to come here.

Great food, speedy service and great place to watch the games. We had cheese curds to start, BLT sliders, ham and cheese sandwich and the open face roast beef sandwich. I had the chicken salad salad which was a huge portion! I wish I'd realized the chicken salad had mustard- didn't like that taste. My husband loves French onion soup and raved about theirs. everything was fantastic.

Lemme tell ya ma, GAS. Literally bang for your buck. Pair it with a beer.

Twilight Tavern where you're not in the twilight zone....this was the first time visiting this place and was definitely impressed. It is a seat yourself establishment and they address you fairly quickly once seated. I highly recommend getting a bushwacker. It's probably one of the best in Nashville. I love a good bushwacker....I couldn't finish it all due to getting full off of my meal, but it's worth the $8. My friend and I ordered the open face roast beef with tots and a French Dip sandwich with onion rings. Open face roast beef- was accurately described in the menu. The beef was well seasoned and tender. It could've just came on 1 slice of bread rather than 2 seeing as how only 1 slice of the bread was able to sop up all the juiciness. My friend described the onion rings as "to die for" lol that may be a reach though. She seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the French dip that didn't need the peppers and onion which she requested to be put on the side. She added Swiss and shredded Jack to the sandwich, which was an added touch that took the sandwich to the next level. My next visit I plan to order the Korean bbq chicken wings!

Not a dive, not a high end place - this place sits somewhere in between. I started coming here about a year ago with some friends and we are fairly regular (at least a couple of times a month), normally on Sunday. Why Sunday? Half-price beer. Beer? A decent selection. They rotate a few taps, but there are always some great staples on tap, like Bell's Two Hearted, Jai A'lai, and Zombie Dust. You will also find similar in other styles, including quite a few local and Tennessee beers. Did I mention half-price Sunday? The atmosphere is pretty much a pub. Some high tables, some low. They also have huge windows they open when it is not so god awful hot (like this week). A great place to sit with friends and enjoy a game or wind down after a game. Lots of music memorabilia around the place, including booking photos of both Ozzy and Jim Morrison. The food? Considering this is a diner-style place (kitchen behind the bar), the food is pretty damned good. This last time I tried the Mission Style wings (see picture), which are decently spiced dry rub chicken wing. Not too hot up front, but it does sneak up on you. I also like the open faced roast beef (also pictured), although I find it gets a bit too rich and I end up taking some home. But, the pièce de résistance has to be the double BLT sliders (yet another picture) which are two types of bacon on a Hawaiin roll with lettuce and tomato. The Pecan and Applewood bacon blend nicely with the Hawaiin rolls, making this a little slice of heaven. And they make great onion rings, as well, so can the fries. Okay? The burgers are also nice (although not pictured here) and you can add gravy to the burger (see my Lauter review?), which must be a southern thing or something. And, if you are really shot in the butt about gravy, have them upgrade to gravy fries. On Sunday, I had the French Onion Soup, which is a bit sweeter than I like, but it was still a nice bowl. On the menu, of what I have had, I find the bratwurst to be something I would prefer to get elsewhere and I would leave the French dip as is rather than add cheese, onions, and peppers, as the combination overwhelms a bit. As a side note, as it does not affect me, the place is kid friendly and has a kid menu - although they will likely be pissing you off my stealing your BLT sliders ... because bacon. (they will throw off the tomato and lettuce, 'cause that's what kids do). In summary, a great little place for a meal and a brew. And bacon.

French dip is absolutely insane. Service was good. Vibe is solid! The area is becoming the center of good American food.

Not a fan. First off they have beer signs in the restaurant and only had 1 IPA. The ipa was good…read moreI'll give them that. The menu is limited it's very sport bar kind of food. I ordered the wrap, all the ingredients tasted fresh but the wrap tasted very much like a gas station wrap. The turkey in it was not good and tasted cheap and old. The fries on the other hand were pretty good. The Mac and cheese was also very creamy and good. Service was absolutely terrible. When I ordered an IPA I just asked her to get me whatever she recommended. Her response was "I don't know I hate IPAs" okay, can't you ask a bartender for dealers choice. Ridiculous. We didn't great our drink order until sitting for 30 mins. We didn't get our food order for almost an hour after sitting and instead of asking us what we wanted to order they just came by to take the menus. I had to say "can't we order food" which made them stop and take our order. Terrible, terrible service. I've had better food, I'd go elsewhere.

My friends and I sat outside and although it took awhile for our waitress to find us & get our food & drink orders I wouldn't fault them as it was packed prior to the game. I had the cheese curds as an app (large portions & very good) & the honey barbecue chicken tenders with fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries as they are thick and square cut which isn't my favorite style, but the chicken tenders were some of the best I have had. No stringy bits you often get at restaurants, just good fresh tasting chicken. Sauce was good as well. Would come back, the buffalo chicken chimichanga sounded really enticing

Not sure what all these high falutin corn pones are crying about. Its a dive sportsbar. In madison…read more With CHEAP ass drinks. C'mon people. This is actually one of my main joints. They have outdoor volleyball, huge outdoor seating/patio area, with cornhole. It sometimes looks like the aftermath of a rush week frat party, but that just means people were raging the night before and you missed out. Amirite? They've got 2 pool tables, snack candy food dispenser, video poker, jukebox, AND several old school arcade machines. They had them before all the hipster barcades started too popping up too, talk about OG bar fun I tell you. They have a deadbeat DJ playing top 40s and decent hiphop on weekends, with a solid sound system and great acoustics for the venue because of its lodge-esq feel and open air wooded infastructure. The fact that it turns into a dance club atmosphere with bass booms, lasers lights, and low lighting is a nice breath of fresh air compared to the honkey skonk suet downtown. Nothing special, just a nice dance club dive at night. This atmosphere also attracts hoodwinks, so be warned. Theyre all honestly harmless as long as youre not acting like a complete doucet - or wearing a certain gang color (sarcasm?). For demographics, this bar is par for the course in its neck of the woods. I hate that they dont serve drinks in real glasses though, only plastic. Theyve got a wide variety of TVs, not the biggest, but they do the job. They also have poker on Wednesday nights. The food is pretty decent, they actually use a grill. The grilled chicken sandwich is actually curiously fantastic.

What a total shithole. I went here once and that was all I needed. I'll never set foot in there…read moreagain. The food is awful, the customers and pure trash, and the bartenders are really good at putting their bodies on display to earn a few extra bucks. If you have any self respect, stay away.
