Our first morning in Nashville called for a hearty breakfast before scouring the area for our next place to call home. We weighed our options and ended up visiting Nadeen's Hermitage Haven based off of the positive reviews as well as wanting to visit somewhere local. Nadeen's is charming inside and out. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spots open on a mid-week morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a booth. Nadeen's feels familiar and comfortable. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time, he was gracious and hardworking. My husband ordered the Southwest Scramble and I had the Farmer's Skillet. Both were delicious but we both agreed that mine was the better of the two. The biscuit was baked perfectly and was so fluffy. The gravy and potatoes were delicious, too. Our coffee cups were never empty, either. Not to mention, the coffee here is really good! We will definitely be back! read more

Nadine's has dive bar vibes but the food is good, and the service is quick and friendly. We suspect the building may be an old Pizza Hut. I had the Buffalo chicken Philly, which was really good and had a good spice level, Portions are large and prices are reasonable. read more

We came here after taking a major hiatus from Nadeem's but not for any reason. It's great to see they are still quite busy. Good to see that even being busy the service was still good. I will say the drinks were strong. I accidentally ordered a margarita instead of a Bloody Mary so my wife drank that. I tried it and it was strong. I ended up getting the single bloody instead of double and glad that was the case. The food was good. I had the Diner Breakfast with cheese scrambled eggs and country ham. It was a big meal, so much I couldn't finish everything. My wife had the southwest scramble which was something right up her alley. read more

I won't even give this place anymore thought after this review. The parking situation here is abhorrent 12 spaces and no immediate street parking. With tow signs around the corner for parking anywhere other than their parking lot .. apparently the peed off or on the neighboring business with their customers parking just anywhere. Moving on We put our name in and I stayed in the parking lot the whole 42 minutes while we waited to be seated and 8 minutes later we were seated. The Grub. I came to the table fast. Maybe too fast it was Luke warming tasted average, nothing here stood out as amazing even my grandkids were blahhh about their pancakes. The service was good the gentleman who served us was very efficient with our table considering the amount of people here. Overall 2/5 stars both for the server, read more

Wow--now that's what I call a breakfast! You will never leave this place hungry, that's for sure. Impeccable, friendly service and great coffee from Frothy Monkey. Large dining room with an extra room for overflow to the side. There is plenty of free parking. Also, if you come later in the day, they have a good happy hour and one the best Philly Cheesesteak outside of Philly. read more

Great for a BIG breakfast after a long night. Vibe is cozy. Like any small business, if they are busy things will slow down. The parking lot can be very full. If you're a patient adult, you'll enjoy Nadeen's. read more

I found this restaurant as a high recommendation on Yelp for Chicken & Waffles in the area. We stopped on a Sunday around 11am & there was about a 30 min wait. The service was great, everyone in there was really nice & helpful. The Chicken & Waffles were also great! We saw a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich that looked really good & the server said this is the dish they are known for because they bring the bread in from Philly. I will try it next time! THE BISCUITS! Everything is delicious but the biscuits are phenomenal. Serves alcohol. It's a casual and popular place. I usually take a miss when the parking lot is full. And when the lot is full, you may have to wait for a table. All this to say that the food is worth it! read more

Incredible all around! Best coffee by Frothy Monkey...so delicious! They often ask if you'd like to take a cup to go. The Philly cheesesteak is delicious and huge. I've got half left for another day. Nadeen's has your typical diner food. We went for breakfast and really enjoyed the sausage and the biscuits, the eggs and hash browns were exactly what you would expect at a diner. The tea and coffee were fresh and delicious and the service was great. It was pretty loud on a busy Saturday morning. Wheelchair accessibility: there was only one accessible parking spot that we saw. The entrance has about a 1 inch lip that some wheelchairs would get stuck on. The exit was much more accessible. There was plenty of room to navigate inside and multiple seating options including booths, low tables, and high tables. However there isn't an accessible bathroom. The doors to the bathrooms are narrow and there's no turning radius inside. They do have grab bars but even a tiny wheelchair wouldn't be able to turn inside the bathrooms. read more

One of my favorite Nashville restaurants. Nadeen's is exactly what you want to find when you go looking for a local joint where nice people serve really good food in a casual setting with a full bar! Breakfast here is really good and it's served all day. I recommend the Chicken & Waffles and the budget friendly Diner Breakfast. My wife and I now have a go-to lunch order here. We start by sharing the large Poitine. If you're not from Canada, that means hand cut french fries with cheese curds covered in house made gravy. When you're there, it's hard to find a table that isn't sharing the Poutine. My Wife & I LOVE the Wedge Salad. She orders hers with a large piece of boneless fried chicken and I add the Nashville Hot Chicken. It's more than a meal for $14, with bacon, red onions, blue cheese crumbles and cherry tomatoes. I ask for an extra blue cheese dressing, my wife does not. It's the best salad with fresh made chicken for the money in Nashville. I highly recommend Nadeen's Hermitage Haven. Maybe I'll see you there! read more

Down home feel. Bar food with some comfort sides. The Mac n cheese is made in house. Very cheesy. I did have to add pepper, but it was my preference. Wings were delish. And they serve breakfast all day! Happy hour is 3-6 week days. Definitely a nice place to unwind after work or for a casual dinner. Our server was super nice and attentive. read more

Everything was delicious. Server was so friendly. Quick. Attentive. Food was flavorful.

First time here- came here for late lunch in a Sunday afternoon. Note- DO NOT park in the Arby's lot next door, park in Nadeen's lot to the right of the building. Our waiter ( John?) was fabulous, kind and attentive. High praise. We had the BEST meal- we each hit the Wedge salad with a different kind of chicken and the portions were huge. What a tasty treat! We live in downtown Nashville and will be happy to make this 13 mile trip back for the salads again. They were that good. Perfect amount of blue cheese. The poutine we shared was also delicious and paired well with the salads. The bar looked like a fun place to hang. We will definitely return! read more

This place holds a special place with me. Their cool vibes and friendly service is icing on the cake. I find it tough to choose between the Philly, Tyrone Chicken or patty melt but the fries hands down is the best choice to make. I sat at the bar and got the Southern "something" it was a bourbon cocktail it was delicious. My Philly didn't disappoint and it came out hot and fresh. I have been here a few times over the last 3 years for breakfast because I know the food will always be good. The atmosphere is welcoming, but parking can be a pain. Service is always top notch. If you go early when they open at 8am you'll have no problems getting a seat, but if you wait til after 8:30-10am, there will be a line about one hour wait give or take. Ok so this time my experience regarding the food flavor was far from enjoyable. The service in the other hand was nice so that's why I didn't say anything about it there. Salt... that chicken was tasteless and dry. I felt I was eating some kind of leather. The waffles were ok. The highlight was the mimosa... it was not too busy and they changed the layout of the seating area since I've been here. read more

Nadeen's is our favorite spot for breakfast in the Hermitage area, and now it is also our favorite burger joint! The Pimento Cheese Burger is spectacular, the BBQ Bacon Burger is also a great choice, and the fries are seasoned with a house made seasoning that makes them, in a word, nothing short of craveable!!
