The doors opened, and before me, a beautifully appointed bar and a very cozy ambiance enhanced by candlelight. The menu offerings were not extensive yet the options to pair with the "long list" of bespoke craft cocktails were perfect. The assorted shapes, sizes and shades of olives were my first delight. I wound up with a charcuterie-esque combination of sour dough that included a creamy cheese smear along the inside of the dish, a prosciutto-like ham, and the most unexpectedly delicious bowl of warm, smoky carrots in a romesco. Not a drop got left behind thanks to the sour dough. Whatever music was playing in the background, added to the swanky vibe. This is the kind of gem that is meant to be savored by every one of your senses.

None of those Pigeon Wings either. These were huge Wings and they were exceptional. I believe there are four flavors and got the BBQ Rub. I don't look forward per se to visiting offers for any particular thing othan business, but I'll be staying at this Delta by Marriott on futur visits. I want to also mention that the Hotel Staff is second to none as well. I don't usually say, "I had a great time" on Business trips, but it felt like going home.complete with a hot meal. Bit of a limited menu and dinner doesn't start until 5 PM so knowing that's already an hour late for me, I went with the Strawberry Fields salad. There's a few different salad options to choose from. The sale I went with is called "Strawberry Fields". This one has the choice of adding protein. Took a pass on the protein and just went straight with the salad. It's a spinach-based salad with strawberries, goat cheese, spinach, and candied walnuts. You get plenty of salad and a good amount of the before mentioned additions, but rest assured the candied walnuts are not candied at all. It also comes with avocado, but the two small slices were so small they might as well have taken that off the menu. It also comes with red onions, but that's an easy hard pass for me. I ordered an El Carajillo, and it was really good! The horchata crème in it was SOOOO good and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service issues continued. When the waitress brought the check for me to sign, I realized she had not returned my credit card. I had to track her down to get it back, and while doing so, I ran into another customer who had experienced the exact same thing. They have great drinks and normally provide a good experience, so hopefully this was just an off night. But on this particular Friday evening, with the bar barely occupied, the service definitely missed the mark.
