Stumbled upon this place after going to a little crafters market that was being held right next to it! Super cute little space to hang out at when the weather is nice in Nashville. Super kind bartenders as well. My boyfriend got one of the drink pouches and I went and got some pretty decent ice cream at the cute KoKos ice cream spot that was attached to the space. It was really nice to sit and enjoy the nice weather while watching some people play volleyball. Always happy to find new cute little corners and spaces to hang out at in the city :)

This place is so fun! Lindsay is the best bartender. I go every time she's there so much fun, and she makes creative drinks. It's walking distance to my house, really welcoming and inclusive. Try out the juice pouches or a coconut it's "Deee-Licious".

Sandbar has been on my Nashville bucket list ever since it opened, and I was so excited to finally go. I started with a pineapple and kiwi pouch which was bigger than any spiked pouch drink I've ever had. I felt it was a little light on the alcohol side but the flavor very well could have just masked it (I wasn't watching the pour). Next, I tried one of Sandbar's famous coconut drinks. Wow oh wow. I opted for the banana-flavored rum which is a match made in heaven when poured into a coconut. It was one of the most refreshing alcoholic beverages I've ever had. The atmosphere and vibe was made for a warm breezy day like the day we visited. Everyone at the bar was so friendly, and we even met the owner, Leah, who was also making drinks. The music selection was near perfect and we loved getting to watch the volleyball games. I will most definitely be back the next time I'm longing for a good drink and a beach day.

This is a nice little bar in a great location. It is adjacent to Koko's ice cream and near the sand volleyball area. The sun was out and the weather was perfect for a tropical drink, so I decided to get a coconut. The service from the staff was cool and friendly. I ordered 1 coconut drink and then selected the kind of rum I wanted to add. A hole was drilled in the coconut and banana rum was poured in. I did find out that I am not a fan of coconut water, but there are other drinks for me to try next time I visit.

Awesome specialty grocery store for snacks

Very cool concept, friendly to pets which is a huge plus! I was in Nashville for 2 days... I was walking my two dogs and came across this storage container conglomerate hosting the Sandbar (as well as a specialty grocery and some other businesses that weren't open at the time of my visit). The bartender was thoughtful enough to put ice water in the dog bowl I requested, big plus! Ordered a hard Italian Grapefruit soda which was perfect for the weather, they use an upside down keg system so don't play with the little disc in the bottom of your drink unless you want to get the deck drunk. I watched two different groups play beach volleyball: one a very focused/athletic team with well fitting bathing suits, and another of regular folk just trying to be active, reacquaint themselves with the game and have fun- both were really enjoyable to watch. There is a shower installed next to the court which seems like an incredible addition most bars should have. Getting sweaty playing volleyball OR it's super hot and you're in some cotton/quick dry and just rinse off! Only con- which should be stated by the bartenders immediately when opening a tab- THEY AUTHORIZE FOR $50 AND IT TAKES DAYS FOR THE CHARGE TO BE REMOVED. I was on a road trip and this was alarming to say the least on a $14 bar tab.... Otherwise it's a really unique idea for a hot weather bar atmosphere.

AP & Lindsay we're awesome and made the vibe so fun! Came for a girls trip and it was unforgettable!!!

The best damn bartender in town.

Great outdoor vibe with the most fabulous bartender!!! Y'all need to check this place out! They have volleyball!

I've been coming here for 2 months and i've never felt happier than when lindsay handed me my pouch of blackberry coconut rum and my mouth went crazy. I couldn't reccommend a bar more than sandbar. She's the most beautiful bartender this side of the mississippi. AP can fuck me up for the rest of my existence on earth. Her lucious pours of malibu down my throat make me wanna guzzle liquor like im having a life threatening surgery tomorrow. You won't regret getting obliterated at this fine establishment.

Lindsay, Emily & AP are my whole world. We've evening coming here for the last two years & I couldn't recommend them more. We will forever be regulars & we're so grateful to Sandbar. Wouldn't be the same without the staff. XOXO NPBC

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.

Staff at the humidor offered zero guidance or recommendations. Drinks were forgettable, and we had to fetch them ourselves from the bar like we were at a college sports pub instead of an upscale cigar lounge. Then came the cigars. We were left to cut and light them ourselves, which would've been fine if every disposable torch in the place wasn't nearly empty or completely out of butane. Nothing says 'premium lounge experience' quite like fighting for a working lighter. To top it off, the moment a large group walked in, the bartender started loudly screaming out drink orders across the room. The entire atmosphere instantly shifted from refined cigar lounge to livestock auction barn. This place is living off the reputation of what Blend used to be.
