My server had one of the large groups, which usually means that as a lone patron you get little attention. Not the case here, multiple servers would check in on me. As I watched the floor, I could tell this was just the culture of the business. My server and another one that waited on me confirmed this, they talked about they all covered for each other as well as managers and owners jumping in to bus tables and help, and doing it happily. They talked about how different it is working in this environment vs other places. Kudos to the staff, owners and managers!

Managed to score a couple seats at the bar, and for a few minutes watched the staff just hauling it at breakneck speed to get everyone's orders taken care of and keep everyone happy. Enjoyed a few drafts while the wife got a couple cosmos. She enjoyed the first one, but the second one was off flavor. Mentioned it to the bartender, he said it was probably the end of a juice bottle, apologized and quickly made her another that was fine. Wife happily went through a plate of bbq wings with a side salad and really enjoyed them. I did the hot fried chicken sandwich. Good, pretty big, so tackling it with fork and knife seemed best. Only complaint is that the fries were rushed - not bad, but a bit too pale and limp. Saw the same undercooked fries on a neighbor's plate. So do ask for them well done if you order. Another example of great service even when the staff was slammed, was that after the wife finished off her wings, she commented on how sticky her fingers were. The wait person paused for a moment in thought, then got a clean towel out of a cabinet, wet it down and wrung the excess water off and handed to her. Nice service. So overlooking the undercooked fries, because these folks need and deserve some Yelp love.
