    Bacon cheeseburger with fries

Food 5/5 Tastes homemade Service 5/5 QUICK and friendly Ambiance 3/5 no frills, focus is the food. Old school diner/neighborhood joint I've only had breakfast and been back three times. I'll try lunch/dinner next time! This is a neighborhood staple. p.s. went back the following day and ordered the cheeseburger w/fries--delicious.

Best meatloaf I've ever had! With homemade mashed potatoes and delicious cole slaw.

One of the best meat and threes in Nashville. This is a small diner with no fluff and no alcohol. It's perfect for breakfast or lunch. We came for lunch on a Monday and both of us got the meatloaf. It was super tasty, moist, and delicious. Way too much for lunch, but I ate it all anyways! The cole slaw, mashed potatoes, beans, onion rings, and breads were all homemade. Staff are very friendly and prices are super reasonable. We will definitely be back!

A solid meat-and-three diner where the locals eat. A LOT of locals. A place where the waiters know the regulars and bring drinks to the table before they get settled good, and where the locals know what's available that's not on the menu. And where strangers are welcome and treated like a local. The fried chicken was really good (moist and tender) and really crispy. The potato salad was a bit sweet for me, but still good. Coleslaw was also good - dressed with a mayo based dressing. Judging from the full parking lot and packed tables of locals - this is definitely a solid choice for a good old fashioned, home-style meal. Nothing fancy, just good food (and big portions)

Food is always good. Service is awesome! I normally call a order in and pick up because it's always a big order. I love their ham and cheese omelettes for breakfast. Cheeseburgers and tots or a grilled chicken salad for lunch. Everyone at my work loves this place! Parking lot is very small and the back lot (which I don't think the restaurant owns) is very rough. Be care!

Finally, I find a place that isn't worried about being Instagram-worthy in Nashville!! I LOVE this place and its character. It's honestly the first place I've been to in Nashville (and I've been here for six years now) that has the same feeling as a cutesy diner in The Strip District in Pittsburgh (where I'm from originally). From the minute we walked in, we were welcomed. We took a seat underneath the vent and ended up moving because it was so chilly! So, unless you want to shiver during your entire meal, avoid that table hahah. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast, and it did not disappoint! Sometimes, you gotta eat the best hangover food even when you're not hungover, and this rainy day was the perfect time to do so. You can't walk in here expecting fancy eggs benedict, which I appreciate so much because you can feel how hard everyone works in this place to enjoy the food even more! The prices -- for Nashville -- are insanely amazingly cheap. For two people, our bill was about $15. That's normally what I spend on one drink at a rooftop bar LOL. I will definitely be back!

The service itself was relatively quick and the staff was kind. The pricing was also great for a delicious pulled pork sandwich coming with sides of cole slaw and fries. The fries were also a really fun shape being flat and wide which had the perfect amount of softness and crispiness. The star for me was the outdoor patio with a big screen to watch the games! 10/10 vibes I'll definitely be back!

We tried the loaded nachos, hot wings and beer chips -- all were delicious and paired nicely with the beers. Speaking of which, I really liked the Music City Light and the orange soda seltzer, which was surprisingly good! The service was excellent -- friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. It was bartender Micheal's first week on the job. He was a happy, jolly delight! The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!

The lighting, furniture, and wallpaper all come together perfectly and give the space a really stylish but comfortable vibe. There's also plenty of room inside, which makes it easy to relax without feeling cramped. Now let's talk about the food... because wow. We started with the fried pickles and they were some of the best I've had. The dipping sauce wasn't your typical ranch (I forgot to ask what it was), but whatever magic they put in it worked it was absolutely delicious. Then we moved on to the burgers. We tried the Juicy Burger and it truly lives up to the name. Every single bite was worth it. I personally had the Jalapeño Burger and let me tell you... get ready for some heat. If you're not used to spicy food, this one might test your limits. But the flavor was incredible. You could really taste that the burger was grilled, and it gave it that perfect smoky, savory flavor that makes a great burger stand out. The drinks were also fantastic. They have a huge selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I had one of their mezcal cocktails and it was bartender's kiss. I also tried a couple of their spirits and everything was on point. Another thing I really appreciated was the noise level. There's music playing, but it's not overwhelming, you can still actually have a conversation without yelling across the table. That's always a win. They also have a nice outdoor patio if you want to sit outside. We went during the week, so it was lively but comfortable. I can only imagine this place really gets going on the weekends. If you're in town and looking for amazing food, great drinks, and a cool atmosphere, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.
