Centennial is a great local dive bar with great wings and a French dip. Don't let the pretzel bun scare you off it's delicious! Gets pretty packed for certain games but still great atmosphere.

I can't express how good these wings are. I like wings but I'm not a crazy wings person- I am crazy for these. My boyfriend and his softball team go here every Thursday- they all get the wings, and he brings me home my own wings. And they're so CHEAP. I'm in love

The Centennial has become one of my favorite bars to grab drinks with friends. It's a no frills spot -- very casual and low key, which is a nice reprieve from some of the busier spots in town. I order food every once in a while. I've tried the spicy chicken sandwich, which was spectacular. A true, blackened Cajun-style chicken sandwich is hard to come by in Nashville. It was perfectly seasoned and the spicy mayo tops it off nicely. Most recently, I ordered the cheeseburger, which comes with your choice of cheese, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. The beef was slightly undercooked for my liking, but I didn't specify how I wanted it cooked so that was on me. I'm not sure what grade of beef they use, but I wasn't crazy about the flavor. The grilled onions were sparse, which was a shame. The bun was terrific, however. The kettle chips and fries are both great accompaniments to the sandwich. If you're in The Nations, I highly recommend paying the Centennial a visit.

The greatest neighborhood bar of all time. Owners couldn't be any cooler, basically no bad spots inside to watch a game.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

Music wasn't too loud, the interior design is great, comfortable chairs and booths. Very cool bar. Price point is perfect. The food was solid, my friend loved his, I think I just got the wrong thing. I got the tortellini with chicken (blackened). It just felt like the chicken was premade and then heated up. Same with the pasta - like it was store bought (6/10) I heard great things about this place and the menu is very strong, but if I could do it over again I would've ordered the French dip or the burger. Never got to try the apps which also look ridiculously good (wagyu skewer bites, rock and roll shrimp, etc)

The lighting, furniture, and wallpaper all come together perfectly and give the space a really stylish but comfortable vibe. There's also plenty of room inside, which makes it easy to relax without feeling cramped. Now let's talk about the food... because wow. We started with the fried pickles and they were some of the best I've had. The dipping sauce wasn't your typical ranch (I forgot to ask what it was), but whatever magic they put in it worked it was absolutely delicious. Then we moved on to the burgers. We tried the Juicy Burger and it truly lives up to the name. Every single bite was worth it. I personally had the Jalapeño Burger and let me tell you... get ready for some heat. If you're not used to spicy food, this one might test your limits. But the flavor was incredible. You could really taste that the burger was grilled, and it gave it that perfect smoky, savory flavor that makes a great burger stand out. The drinks were also fantastic. They have a huge selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I had one of their mezcal cocktails and it was bartender's kiss. I also tried a couple of their spirits and everything was on point. Another thing I really appreciated was the noise level. There's music playing, but it's not overwhelming, you can still actually have a conversation without yelling across the table. That's always a win. They also have a nice outdoor patio if you want to sit outside. We went during the week, so it was lively but comfortable. I can only imagine this place really gets going on the weekends. If you're in town and looking for amazing food, great drinks, and a cool atmosphere, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.
