Fat Bottom Brewing was another great stop during Nashville exploration. Just a 5 minutes walk from our Air BnB, it became the stop for a quick bite and a little pregaming throughout our trip. The place has a great setup -- a beautiful garden area that's perfect for events and a well-decorated main taproom with a lively vibe. There is a schedule for live music, mostly on Saturdays I believe. The food and beer were both great! We tried the loaded nachos, hot wings and beer chips -- all were delicious and paired nicely with the beers. Speaking of which, I really liked the Music City Light and the orange soda seltzer, which was surprisingly good! The service was excellent -- friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. It was bartender Micheal's first week on the job. He was a happy, jolly delight! With their wide beer selection and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a place I'd love to visit again. read more

I've enjoyed coming here for 10 years, and the beer is pretty good. The Bravazzi hard italian sodas are fantastic for non beer drinkers. I like the mexican style cerveza the best. The food is pretty decent and reasonably priced. I like their burger and portions are large. I do think there is some deferred maintenance that needs some attention, especially in the outdoor area. It's a great place for families, but some of those tables outside are pretty rickety and the lawn games are in bad condition. Also have noticed the last two times that inside it doesn't smell so great. We will still frequent this place. There is lots of potential for this to be the best brewery spot in Nashville. read more

Fat Bottom is one of my fianceè and I'd favorite breweries in Nashville, and with the amount there are, that really says something! The team is always so friendly and helpful. I've been here several times and can't think of a single time I didn't have a good interaction with a team member. Their food is extremely good, way better than you'd expect from a brewery! My go to's are the chicken wrap and chicken fingers, they're fantastic and a generous portion! Their beer is also fantastic and the variety is quite broad. With it being fall, my go to is the Jackie Pumpkin which is the best pumpkin beer I've ever had. Other notable mentions are the Ruby and the Office Bad Boy. Another fantastic beverage option that isn't a beer is their Italian hard soda, Bravazzi. That is one of my favorite drinks of all time and they seem to always have a flavor on tap! The Blood Orange is dangerously good but all of the flavors, I think I've had them all now, are AMAZING. The vibe is also really cool here; a great blend of indoor and outdoor functionality with plenty going on. Honestly, Fat Bottom should be a "must go" on your Nashville itinerary. read more

This is such a fun hidden gem in the Nations! I love how interactive they are with the community by having different game nights like trivia! The service itself was relatively quick and the staff was kind. The pricing was also great for a delicious pulled pork sandwich coming with sides of cole slaw and fries. This was the perfect cozy meal to enjoy here in the South and is packed with tons of flavor. The BBQ flavor in the pork was seamless with a nice meaty flavor without too much fat. The fries were also a really fun shape being flat and wide which had the perfect amount of softness and crispiness. It's really a game of roulette as to whether it will be really good or... meh. Sometimes they have at table ordering, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the burgers are awesome and sometimes they are thick and bland beef patties with tepid fries. The beer is always good. I can say that. But the food and food service could use some work to become consistently good in both areas. read more

The Mac and cheese is delicious and very rich, I wish it came with a protein option, a blacken chicken or even side of broccoli would be great to balance the richness of the the flavor but it is very good. If you are traveling to Nashville with kids, you should definitely check out Fat Bottom. There were lots of families sitting around us. We started with beer flights. I got 2 hard Italian sodas with mine. You have to try the blood orange! We shared two wraps. The chipotle wrap was ok. It could use more sauce. The knock out wrap was flavorful. It had been a while since my last visit. Was taking care of some business on this side of town and decided to stop by and see what was new. Was pleasantly surprised to learn they offered beer flights. Smaller portioned pours to give one a bit more variety to perhaps discover a new favorite. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Fat Bottom Brewing yet! This is one of my favorite local spots ... simply because it's so much more than a brewery. Yes - they do have great craft beer, but they also have incredibly tasty food, a dog-friendly beer garden, and a wonderful presence in the Nations community. I've eaten here several times, and my go-to for lunch is the Karen wrap with sweet potato fries. It's packed full of grilled chicken and fresh veggies - and is just the right size for a light but still filling lunch. My husband and I also quite enjoy their burgers and the Bavarian pretzel sticks. Beer gardens and pretzels go hand in hand, and Fat Bottom does theirs exceptionally well. If you can't find parking in their attached lot, street parking is easy to access. I've always had attentive and personable servers - whether I'm sitting outside or bellying up to the bar. My favorite brew is the "Jackie" which is their fall staple. It's sippable and seasonal  - everything you want in a pumpkin beer. I'm also a big fan of Bravazzi, which isn't beer, but is the perfect bevvie for summertime. read more

We came here for trivia night, which was fun! They have different themes on different days. There is plenty of seating. They have both indoor and outdoor portion (outdoor has some games, cornhole etc). Lots of street parking in the area. The servers are super friendly and check in with you often. read more

This review is for their Santa Brunch! The brunch gets 4 stars BUT the staff gets a 5 ! This was such a fun experience! As you walk in there is Santa and fake snow from Santa's fabulous decked out truck! The host that greeted us was such a nice guy and promptly sat us down and explained everything! The space is their banquet space which is fantastic for this type of event. Linens on the table and a mix of small and large tables! The space is festive, which includes Christmas tree and a couch for Santa and Mrs Claus to take photos and give a treat to the kiddos! You can purchase beer, wine, mimosas and fabulous drinks! The drinks looked so good and literally Christmas in a cup! I had their Winter Cider and it was fantastic. The food was good. Breakfast favorites including biscuits and gravy , small Belgian waffles and pancakes, carving station with a complete accompaniment of side dishes and salad, and an omelette station. You won't go hungry here. Bacon was serious bacon! Prime Rib was good but a little on the cold side. Lots to choose from, so if there is something that doesn't work for you, you'll find something! The staff is completely awesome! Attentive - checking in if you need a drink, clearing dishes off your table or just ready for a quick holiday chat! The carving staffer was so nice too! But Santa and Mrs. Claus were the showstoppers! OMG both worked the room all kids and families felt specials! Also pics came out really good and he would even let a parent know you might want to take a photo & guess what...Santa was right! Got a quick bite and beer after a long day of traveling. We sat outdoors, which was an enjoyable environment. No tv's outdoors, however, and ordering from a QR code is standard for each table. Had to go to a table to see you have to scan in and seat yourself - Server has too large of a section to serve - Server stood at the bar talking to a customer for a long time - Food was warm, not hot - Food taste was OK - Confusion with staff. Told they were out of ice cream and would take it off our bill. Another server showed up with it without the Carmel drizzle we selected. 10 minutes later another server came up with the dessert. - The cookies were hard. Assumed they would be soft and warm. - Asked for a to go cup. The server never came back and instead stood at the bar talking with another customer for a long time so I dumped my ice out and put it in my cup. SUM: This place is probably good to just drink and hangout. However, I now know why places like this in my home state stick to the alcohol and instead schedule food trucks for the food portion. We got the whole upstairs to ourselves. It was cool to see the brewery in action with the windows into where the action happens. The only thing Ive had to eat here were the pretzel sticks. They were good but be prepared for a very buttery/oily taste. Service was super friendly! Gleeful Meeple hosted a really fun game night at Fat Bottom Brewing. It was the perfect venue since we were able to get a private room for everyone. The service was very nice and helpful. For drinks we ordered the Bravazzi Blood Orange Hard Soda and the Blackberry hug. The drinks were both good, but I would definitely be curious to try something different next time. Made a brunch reservation for a Sunday at 10:30am. After arriving we were told that they did not have brunch nor were they serving most of their menu. Our only food options were sandwiches or salads. The manager told us they only do brunch on Holidays, however all the marketing says it's Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30-2pm. The tots were good, I like mine a little crisper but the sandwich made up for it, so if you're like me mention that when you order. They were a little slower but good service. We came to Fat Bottom Brewing for their (free) musical trivia night. My initial impression after seeing all the cars in the parking lot was, "Wow, I hope we can find a table!" Despite all of the cars, we found a parking spot immediately. Fat Bottom Brewing is very spacious, and after being warmly welcomed, we luckily found a table right up near the speakers and emcee. I was really impressed by all the space to hang out, which included an awesome patio filled with games (including a really cool giant Connect 4 game). We ordered the flatbread pizza which which I thought was fantastic. It was piping hot, despite some other reviewers saying their food was cold. We are not drinkers, but I'm sure there are other reviewers who can speak for their brewery selections. Our waitress was *very* attentive and pleasant and even offered to give us to-go refills on our sodas, which was a nice touch. The musical trivia (Singo) was an absolute blast, in part because of the full house of people having fun and singing along. The vibe was just really cool in there. The emcee for the musical trivia was most excellent, and I was pleased to hear that she would be there for musical trivia every week! We will definitely be back for musical trivia and the awesome food and atmosphere! I highly recommend it! read more

I came during a Tuesday and a beautiful spring day where I was sitting out in their massive patio area. The parking is pretty easy since they have a designated lot and with this location being in the Nations there is tons of street parking within the neighborhood. When sitting outside in the patio area you are able to scan a QR code and order from your phone and checkout via your phone. This is awesome way to not leave the table and still get great service. As a girl that does not drink beers I was very excited that this brewery sells bravazzi an Italian hard soda - I was in heaven. I have not had their food but heard great reviews, will be back to try it myself! read more

Fat Bottom Brewing is a local Nashville born and brewed Brewery that features a full service tap room, amazing outdoor space and rentable event space...all located in The Nations! We popped in on a Thursday night for a quick beer and dinner, and to our surprise this was trivia night, so the taproom was packed with a lively crowd battling it out for trivia supremacy. Since we showed up too late, we grabbed a high-top at the top of the ramp near the arcade games, which was close enough to still pretend to participate, but far enough away to not pay super close attention. Beer wise they brew all the classics from a Red Ale, Pale Ale, Nitro Stout, IPA to Blonde Ale, which happens to be my go-to...the ole Sandy Blonde Ale! But additionally, they also do specialty and seasonal beers including a pumkin ale! While we don't always eat when we come by, this evening we did. Their food menu is standard American fare, but is pretty large for a taproom. We have had a few of the appetizers with the pretzels and beer cheese being a favorite. This latest trip found us both getting chicken sammies...one fried and the other grilled. I decided against the "hot" this time and I wish I wouldn't have, as the fried chicken sandwich was extra bland without the seasoning. Tender and crispy, yes...flavorful, no. Lesson learned. The tots were on point though. Service is usually pretty solid with no issues. Parking can be a struggle if you are looking to do the taproom and they have an event going on as the dedicated lot fills up quick. Luckily, the area has a lot of street parking, but be prepared to walk a block or two. Overall, we enjoy Fat Bottom and will certainly be back! read more

This is the best place to grab a beer on the patio with some friends and your dog. They have a full menu and great beers. Vibes: Plenty of seating inside and out. Your can play corn-hole, and they have picnic tables outside, so you can bring your puppy pals with you. Beers: Awesome beers, but I wish they had more on variety on rotation. I'd like to see more experimental stuff since we're local and visit a lot. Nothing they make is really a unique style to Fat Bottom. Food: This is why I docked it a star, the food is just okay. If you get a burger with sauce, ask for the sauce on the side so you can add more to your burger. See Exhibit A pic... Upon arrival, you see the patio which is large, dog friendly, and has cornhole boards. Walking into the door, they have a whole merch wall with some pretty cool designs. They also have a vending machine of rubber ducks which is awesome. For the food, the brisket mac and cheese was honestly a 6/10. The brisket was real dry, but the noodles somewhat made up for it. Wouldn't order it again though. The cider I must say was delicious. I would order that again no doubt. I would probably return here, next time order a few appetizers and ciders and play some cornhole. read more

Hello all! My wife and I had our daughter's wedding reception here. Fat Bottom did a GREAT job hosting the event. Beverages were cold and flowing, food was excellent (brisket/chicken alfredo/pasta/roasted brussel sprouts/salad/biscuits) and FBB timed everything out very well. All of the food was well prepared and presented. Exceeded our expectations! The space appeared clean and ALL employees were friendly and welcoming. It was a HOT day but FBB kept everything cool and comfortable. They genuinely seemed to care about our satisfaction. I would recommend this place HIGHLY for an event. We had visited a few times prior and always had a good time. Worth a visit just for the beer! I enjoy red ales and their 'ruby red' was outstanding. We have also been to FBB in the past just for the beer and snacks. Enjoyed it every time. Friendly bartender and quality, cold beer. Enjoyed the environment as well. HIGHLY recommended.
