We had 51st St Deli cater a business lunch today. They catered several varieties of deli sandwiches. They consisted of roast beef, ham, turkey, and chicken. They were very delicious. Everything was fresh, with cold accoutrements. But the bread was the star of the show. The bread was soft and chewy and tasted freshly baked. Theu were so good we all took some home. Highly recommend their catering services.

Yay for the new location closer to Bellevue. Tip: enter from the turn-in to Thornton's then a left into 51st Deli's lot. I love it that they have a gluten-free bread option, 8th and roast coffee, lattes, cortados, and chai + matcha options, smoothies, and almost every deli sandwich option you can imagine plus some tacos and other selections. Be aware the drive-thru is not a traditional drive-thru with a speaker. Rather you place your order online and then by the time you get there they have it ready for you at the window. The only thing that I was a little bit disappointed in during my last 5-6 visits to them is that I was really looking forward to a wrap made with falafel and I didn't think the falafel was all that great. It was fine though just not as great as I hoped. Otherwise!: between their breakfast and lunch options, smoothies, lattes, and variety of juices and canned drinks, fresh cut fruit, salad bar type option, myriad desserts inside, friendly service, and diverse clientele and staff, this has quickly become a favorite.

Love this deli! It seems to be pretty popular too. Good fresh ingredients! Nice staff and didn't have to wait long at all

We are obsessed with this place and want to protect it at all costs. It's got such a great menu and a very reasonable price. The price is AMAZING and the food is even better. We eat here at least once a week. It's clean. It's quick. We can't say enough good things about this neighborhood gem.

I love 51st Deli! You seriously can't go wrong with anything here -- the burrito, açaí bowl, and breakfast sandwich are all so good. The staff are super friendly and it's such a convenient spot. Definitely one of my go-to local favorites!

I love this place. It was so close to our condo that we could walk to it. Their food is definitely…read moredelicious and their soup is my favorite. I'm a soup lover so I can totally eat it all year round (yes, during the summer heat too). The pasta was good and the salad too. They have a market to get products to cook at home too so it's perfect to grab some food, get inspired and take home some ingredients and make your own. The staff was friendly and the place to seating arrangement was a bit out there but overall the atmosphere flowed great. Parking is tricky around the area but Germantown is like that. Definitely come check them out.

The menu did…read morenot specify it included cheese and I have a kid who hates mozzarella, so that was fun...picking off the melted mozzarella from pasta back at the hotel. Please fix the menu to include that cheese is involved, as I would have specified "no cheese" on our order. I'm sure the store is fun or dine in is an experience, but other than the hand made pasta, I was not impressed and probably wouldn't order here again based on food alone. I do appreciate the quick service and cleanliness of the establishment. Edit: thank you for your reply, Ryan. I tried emailing the restaurant, as I have my receipt. Please let me know how I can get that to you.

Full disclosure: large pickup order for our weekly office dinner. Ordered from Toast with no…read morefees. Ready quickly and correctly, all sandwiches labeled. The hot sandwiches were still hot. I had the El Diablo, made with chicken, onions, peppers, jalapeño, lettuce, tomato, and pepper jack. Just the right amount of spice and the chicken was moist. Other orders were turkey and avocado, chicken Caesar, buffalo chicken, the Philly cheese, the chopped cheese. They also have a burger, a falafel wrap, various grilled and breaded chicken options. We got the chips and guac, which came in a huge portion size for less than 10 bucks. We got the carne asada fries and the fries were hot and crispy, loaded with steak, sour cream, and veggies. Other sides, including chips, are available, as well as tacos, burritos, and an extensive breakfast selection (available round the clock). Everyone really enjoyed their selections. VERY affordable. Each sandwich was 10-12 dollars and we got 13-14 sandwiches, sides, and chips, plus tip and tax for 204. This will become part of our regular office rotation.

Strangely, those cars don't move for hours, so who are these motorists? Parking tends to be notoriously tough for any business in the Belmont area, so be prepared. The food is okay, not the five-star affair everyone claims, but good enough. After hiking several miles from my parking spot to reach this elusive deli, I've had several sandwiches over the years. They aren't bad, but they don't wow me either. The deli certainly slices their meats and cheeses fresh on the spot. But even that doesn't take the sandwiches to the pinnacle of sandwichhood. And my goodness, those booths have the most uncomfortable wooden backing at the most atrocious angle! You'll notice if you sit in a booth, and you might need back surgery afterward. It's still a place worth visiting, especially if you're a Belmont student and are able to walk over.
