We shared everything. It was a nice dining experience. Service is great! Chairs are not comfy and the noise level is intense.

Really fun place !! Highly recommend attending for celebrations. They actually printed out menus celebrating my friend's birthday which was such a cool touch. Street parking is pretty accessible and they have a small parking lot a short walk away. Their menu is excellent and offers so many options. They recommend sharing and ordering a few different plates. The risotto really took my friends and I by surprise & the gnocchi was delicious. Not a lot of vegetarian options but the kitchen was able to make some modifications !

I had a birthday dinner here with a friend and I think it might be my new favorite restaurant! I didn't know if be able to find good oysters so far from the coast, but I was proven wrong. The space was so beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was mind blowing! They had menus with "happy birthday" printed on them, they automatically brought us a glass of champagne to toast, and were so attentive and timely with bringing food out. I literally can't wait to go visit again! I also love that they do happy hour for the oysters where the week nights from 5-6pm and weekends from 1-2pm a chefs choice of oysters are $2 per shell. I can't recommend this place more! What I ordered: -Happy Hour oysters (it was the Murder Pointe ones when we went) -Beef tartare -Gnocci -Caramel Chocolate Tart

HR never disappoints. Whether sitting at the bar, or a table. Service is top notch and you can expect anything you order will be expertly prepared. We have easily consumed a couple hundred oysters in our years coming to HR. Every one tastes incredible and I can count on one hand the amount of times we've had a piece of shell. Incredibly impressive. Don't bother going anywhere else for oysters.

Overall a very nice spot. The bar room when you walk in has a really great set up with lighting and ambiance. If I lived closer, I would definitely enjoy meeting up with friends regularly at this bar area! Main dining is a bit brighter, clean, crisp. A lot of great oyster options. The warm bread and anchovy butter seemed to be a general dining offering from our server, before we even saw the menu, but was actually a menu order; the anchovy butter was a bit too much for my taste, but the bread was amazing. Steak tartare was a non traditional set up & tasted great. Having the separate bread order went well with this as the steak tartare is not served with such. We went with main menu items of braised pork gnocchi and pork chop. The pork chop was a bit tough, but the sauce for it was spectacular. The gnocchi dish was lots of flavor and an impressive dish overall.

Celebrated my birthday here. They kicked things off with a complimentary glass of bubbly and a designated birthday menu - both nice touches. My boyfriend and I shared: + Green curry oysters + Tomato salad + Gnocchi + Cobia crudo + Peach cobbler Best dishes were the tomato salad and gnocchi. Also really liked the dessert. So why not a 5? Wait between courses was super long and not all of the food was a hit. (The crudo had nice presentation but the flavors weren't there... maybe that type of fish is just meh?) But service was great and the gnocchi is really a standout. I would return for their famous oyster happy hour!!

Good- fettuccine was cooked to perfection; octopus was soft and moist; oyster was sweet and fresh Bad- poor service from server; bread service was a huge lump that you had to cut it yourself (they can't cut it???); grouper was slightly over cooked; king oyster mushroom- taste like any other mushroom

I have been meaning to try this and am glad I finally did! I made a reservation for 530 for a few friends and we were able to catch the end of happy hour. I had the French 75 from their happy hour which was such a steal and was refreshingly delicious. We also had a few oysters from the happy hour menu which we enjoyed. The staff was kind and offered lots of great food recommendations that helped us with our order and we ultimately opted to get several dishes which we shared. The Mesclun Salad was definitely the highlight of the meal for me, truly one of the best salads I've had in a while. It had fresh strawberries, basil, hazelnuts and goat cheese at the bottom that just tied the dish together all too well. The beets were well cooked and seasoned and the roasted carrots were also good, blending sweet and spicy in such an unexpected way, but I would probably skip these next time. There entrees were a bit of a mixed bag for me. We had the gnocchi which came with tender pork, but I felt like the dish was missing something and it just didn't hit in the same way the starters did. Meanwhile, the fettuccine was great with some crispiness from the caramelized onions which gave the dish a surprise crunch and the flavors mixed well together, though the portion was a bit small. I loved the calm atmosphere of the restaurant as well. Overall, I am glad I tried this as the salad alone was worth it, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back here.

Just simply fantastic bday dinner for a friend. This was a while ago and I just want to say, we had a wonderful time here with delicious foods and fantastic service in a simple but elegant down to earth vibe place. Everything from the drinks to the foods are just an experience not to forget. Thank you so much and can't wait to come back and try new dishes.

Awesome hotspot! Happy hour is only 1 hour from 5-6p but it is totally worth it if you can catch it. Got the only oysters on happy hour which were the murder point from Alabama and they were clean, not briny and butter, just how I like them. So got lucky on getting the kind I like. Also had to try their green curry and Sichuan chili oysters and they were fantastic. All the oysters paired perfectly with the cava. Service was so good and was checked up on when needed. Place had nice comfy lounge seatings by the bar

Unfortunately, I don't understand the hype. Service left a lot to be desired. Taylor R had an objection to almost everything I asked. Including asking about swapping squash types in a dish. Then was short/snippy when I asked if there were any off menu sides available (a la potato/rice etc). The answer was no. So, poor service. Inflexible menu options and small portions. The sunchokes in the scallop dish had a sauce that was bitter. Photos show a green sauce in the scallop dish, but mine didn't have it. Uneven sear on the scallops. Drink was not brought to the table until I asked a different server about it. Will not be returning.

Didn't have reservations, so came here when it open to catch a seat at the bar. Ambience is very chill not very loud and moody with the lighting. The food was great. My favorite dish hands down was a gnocchi. Followed by the scallops and risotto. Pork came out pretty late so to me could be that we got full. It just didn't hit the same, but I did love the sauce that came with it slightly on the saltier side, but does balance everything else our server was great at attentive and everybody that we interacted with was pretty pleasant

Top service and the freshest food in a casual and warm environment await you at Henrietta Red. We had the best date here. I'm new to eating oysters, and I enjoyed the variety of flavors and tasting notes. My main course was whole trout. Wow! This dish has complexity and depth. The fish skin is super crispy. The dill was a bit strong, but the endive gives a nice alternative bite to the rich sauce. We finished dinner with the seasonal peach cobbler. What I loved was the familiar flavors mixed with new: corn ice cream, cardamom, and sweet biscuit.

Parking was easy, with plenty of street parking nearby. We had a 5 p.m. reservation and arrived around 4:52. The doors were locked, and although an employee was standing just inside, we were asked to wait outside until exactly 5. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but it was about 95 degrees, I'm eight months pregnant, and we had three young kids with us. That wasn't a great first impression, and I think if reservations begin at 5, guests should be able to come inside a few minutes early. Once the doors opened, we were seated promptly. They had a high chair ready for our youngest, and our server was excellent throughout the meal. The restaurant has a trendy, upscale atmosphere, and while our oldest did great, I think it's a better fit for adults than families with very young children. One thing I really appreciated was that when we realized they only had glass cups available, our server found paper coffee cups for the kids. It was a small gesture that made the meal much less stressful. The sausage biscuits are still outstanding and easily my favorite item on the menu. The steak was good, but I wasn't impressed with the Cobb salad. Our kids shared the fried chicken and mac and cheese, and my husband ordered the pot roast. Our bill came to about $190 before tip. Overall, the meal was good, but it didn't feel like the special dining experience I remembered from previous visits. Between the rough start, the prices, and food that was good but not particularly memorable, I don't see us returning anytime soon. The service was kind, but for this price point, I expected more.
