    Smoked Fish Dip

This place is a vibe - if you're hitting the bars after, this is the spot for you. Very Atlanta, obviously. The food was delicious. Our only miss was the drink, our table had a pain killer, Belafonte, and FM Highball; drinking with a purpose and they're the cocktails for you. Looking for a fun, tasty moment, not for you.

Amazing service and ambience, highly recommend coming during the day when you can pop in the antique shop next door! All of the food felt very fresh and herb-forward. Genuinely nothing we tried disappointed but would honestly recommend the blackened grouper sandwich over the lobster roll which surprised me

My boyfriend and I tried Fishmonger when it first opened, and our first visit was a bit of a miss (it was very busy and we waited about 35 minutes to be seated). But we decided to give it another chance & we're so glad we did! This time the experience was completely different. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and even without a reservation we were seated quickly. We started with oysters and loved how fresh they tasted. Everything came out quickly, and the drinks were just as good as the food. The meal itself (not pictured) was excellent. I ordered the spicy fish sandwich and it was absolutely addictive, with the perfect balance of heat and buttery flavor. There are also so many fun things to do in the area, which made it easy to turn dinner into a great night out. We'll definitely be back!

Went in after the ice storm so it was slow but the service was 10/10. The restaurant was in a building, in an open area not hard to find once you were in there. Food was pretty tasty. I actually enjoyed the Caesar grouper more than the hot fish sandwich. The seafood chowder was good too. I don't know how often I'd go out there cause I wouldn't crave that all the time and the menu is small.

Honestly surprised how good this place is. A friend and I went for dinner at 6:30 on a Monday with a reservation. The place is a little tucked away at the Neuhoff development and the sign isn't the easiest to read. However, it's a nice place and we sat outside since the weather was nice. The service was very friendly and attentive. While the menu is very small, what we got was delicious. We got the oysters to start which came with a cocktail sauce and mignonette. I got the hot fish sandwich and it was so flavorful, fresh, crispy, and filling. Sides are à la carte and we got the broccolini with chili crisp. It wasn't the strongest part of the meal, but still very good. But the fish sandwich is the best I've had in town and would definitely come back for it.

Great food and love the portions! The fish sandwiches are nicely seasoned and flaky. Super fresh and tasty. Service is good with table seating and regular service. Ambiance is nicely lit and feels modern and cozy in the building plaza. 9/10

In a word - YUM! I'm doing Dry January so ordered a zero proof cocktail, the Beach Belle, to start. Very delicious! For our appetizer, we shared the smoked fish dip. Both the dip and the bagel chips they came with were great. For my meal, I got the lobster roll with potatoes. I just love a lobster roll and this one did not disappoint! I would love to say I'll go back and try something different but honestly I'll probably just eat the lobster roll every time. Our server was great, the place had a cool vibe, and can't wait to go back. Bonus - if you have a credit card with Resy benefits, eating here activated some of my cash back for the quarter. The only thing better than a great meal is a free meal!

One of the best spots to grab seafood in Nashville! Delicious options in a fun, no-hassle environment. The staff is kind and attentive. Our favorite items we've gotten are the lobster roll, hot fish sandwich, blacked grouper, peel & eat shrimp, and fish dip. Be prepared for a massive fish sandwich and a messy but delicious meal with the shrimp. We've enjoyed every drink we've had here - whether is a cocktail, glass of orange wine or a canned cider. The FM Highball and Spritz are our go-tos

Fishmonger is such a fun little spot, tucked into this cool, refurbished riverside space that feels low-key but still totally high-quality. It's not the easiest spot to find, but it is the kind of place where you walk up and think, "Yep, this is going to be good." Ava, our server, was awesome. Super friendly, on top of everything, and just made the whole night easy. The cocktails were creative in the best way -- we both ordered things that we thought we would possibly not like, and yet we did. Food-wise, we loved everything we ordered. The tuna tartare was fresh and bright, the lobster roll was rich, and the blackened grouper sandwich had just the right kick. It was pretty filling, to boot. Overall, Fishmonger kinda nails it: different vibe, great drinks, great food. Definitely a casual but high-quality spot worth going out of your way for.

Second time eating here and even better than the first! The special- whole Branzino- was one of the best things I've had in a long time! So much flavor. It does have a lot of oil, so is filling even though it's just fish! Caesar salad is great, as is the smoked fish dip. I had the Belafonte cocktail- delicious and not too sweet, very unique. They were out of the key lime pie :( We walked right in around 7:30 on a Friday night.

My friend & I stopped in for lunch while out running errands. The restaurant is in the beautiful, industrial Neuhoff development. The space itself is smaller than I expected, so when they're busy, there may be a wait. It may be a challenge to find free parking, so be prepared to pay & walk a bit. Love: Blackened Grouper Sandwich (spiced just right, generous portion); mussels (delicious broth, seasoned well); key lime pie (creamy, tasty crust) Dislike: service (not attentive)

I stopped in here for lunch and loved the fresh and flavorful seafood options! This restaurant is located in the Neuhoff building (no parking validation sadly) and offers a curated selection of seafood dishes and creative cocktails. The ambiance is dark and moody with vibrant neon signs and nautical accents. It's the kind of place where you can grab a seat at the bar or enjoy a laid back meal on a sunlit afternoon. I tried the caesar salad with grouper and the smoked fish dip. That salad is what would keep me coming back. It's perfectly cooked, super fresh, and full of flavor! The smoked fish dip was a great appetizer and reminded me of a charcuterie board- bagel chips, pickled onions, and banana peppers. Service was easy going and efficient, ideal for a no fuss lunch or casual dinner. For fans of quality seafood, Fishmonger is a must visit. I am looking forward to trying other menu items in the future!

Fishmonger! A very beautiful and vibrantly designed interior. Quick, friendly and no nonsense service. It is cashless so keep that in mind. Without further ado let's get into the food. We ordered the: [$18] Market Oysters - The oysters were great. Fresh and to the point. [$13] Chowder - The chowder was my absolute favorite thing. A thinner soup but the flavor definitely packed a punch. It had a vinegar-y essence which I loved. [$20] Hot Fish Sandwich - Huge. Very spicy. Good flavor. [$17] Gulf Shrimp Roll - I liked this but didn't love it. With the shrimp being cold about halfway through I didn't really want it anymore. I do think it was a little on the pricey side but overly good experience & I'll be back to try the mussels eventually!

The staff matched the setting, gracious and sharp from hello to goodbye. The food kept pace. The sausage and cheddar biscuits earn every word of their reputation, we could have made a meal of them. We ate family style, which is the move here, passing everything so the whole table got a taste. Tara's halibut was the runaway favorite, our server called it his top pick on the menu and he nailed it. The mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts vanished fast, and the tri-tip with spaghetti squash and the delmonico rounded out a generous spread. My one small miss was the fried chicken, flavorful but a touch dry, the lone soft note of the night. The carrot cake ice cream cake split the table down the middle, though nobody walked away disappointed. Four stars, with only that dry chicken keeping it from a clean sweep. We left already angling for a reason to return.

We were seated in the back room patio, and at first I got really worried since it was in the nineties and super humid, but pleasantly it was airconditioned and had some low speed fans so it was pretty comfy. The bench seating was firm, but plenty of pillows, so, although seated a little high, it was great. Chairs were fine as well. Service was great, our server was super friendly and really knew the menu and could speak not just to what we asked, but also made some great suggestions. Now, pretty sure this menu is super seasonal, so my choices may not be available when you read this, but highlights: Wood Fired Bread with Anchovy butter: solid, crusty (but not too) with a rich whipped butter, devoured quickly, but enjoyed the light smoke char. Snapper Crudo: Okay, the peaches threw me when I read the menu, but they were fantastic! Just a little spice on the agua chile, perfectly cured fish and really nice presentation. Tomato Salad: Perfectly ripe and sweet, the cherries and olives were easy to confuse until you bite into them, but they were both fantastic Wood Roasted Carrot: the carrots were a little inconsistent in size, and thus in softness. They were all good, but some were absolute heaven Octopus: generous portion, and perfectly cooked. The wood fire was not overbearing as it didn't taste smoked or burnt. just a great dish. Parisian Gnocchi: Didn't interest me on the menu, ordered as a recommendation and even though by this point I was not at all hungry, it was fully devoured. The snapper was great, however we did enjoy the Whiskey rebellion, an old fashioned and a tommy's margarita, so this dish was fantastic, but the memory is a bit fuzzy. Desserts are a not to miss, and the peach cobbler (foreshadowed but the fantastic peaches in the crudo) delivered in a great way to end a great meal. Thank you again for a great time!!!

A few minutes later, Big Al shouts, "Does anyone want a cinnamon bun?" and I have never been closer to taking a walk from my keto diet. I had selected the day's special, the FOUR egg steak omelet which I had with peppers and onions *filled* the plate. Sloppy and tasty and loaded with probably half a pound of sliced steak. I only took one small bit of my biscuit - fluffy and light but heavy and dense. Delicious. My friend had a concoction that I can only call The Coronary Plate: Fried eggs, fried potatoes, fried chicken. Half of a fried chicken that looked better than anything I've ever seen at KFC or Popeye's or my own beloved Bojangles. Crispy, slightly burned but a light batter and a juicy center. Yeah, get that.
