Tried Sushi Row and overall it was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. Came here with a small group and while the atmosphere is nice and vibes are good, I was disappointed by the food. We ordered the Kobra Kai, Surf & Turf, Rocco Roll, and the Spicy Luca Roll. While none of the rolls truly stood out, the Rocco Roll was my favorite of the bunch. We also shared several appetizers including the crispy rice, lobster salad, karaage chicken, rock shrimp, baked crab taco, steak & eggs, and scallop sashimi. The dishes were fine overall, but you can find higher quality fish and more standout dishes at other sushi spots. Service was friendly and Accomodative. The bartender, Richard, was making some great drinks though! I'd consider coming back for drinks and small bites, but it's not a must visit sushi destination for me. Order again: Rocco Roll, steak & eggs

I came here for to eat dinner with friends. We were wanting to check out a new spot. I was able to book a reservation on Open Table. We started with four apps: Edamame - this is served warm with sea salt. What you expect. $6 Spicy Pickled Cucumbers- this was pickled cucumbers with a house spice. This was underwhelming and I would not order this one again, especially for $9. Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna - This comes with 4 pieces per order. It was good. I think that I prefer Sushi-san's crispy rice. The spicy tuna was good and it was topped with a little slice of avocado. $16 Kaarage- Japanese style fried chicken served with a spicy aioli and lemon wedge |Served warm and crunchy. This is good but overpriced at $19 Then we ordered four rolls to share: Rocco Roll- This has spicy tuna with avocado topped with garlic buttered seared tuna and micro greens served with a side of the spicy ponzu. I liked the ponzu dish. I thought this was pretty good. $23 Sweet Kaden Roll- This was tempura unagi, cucumber, topped with avocado. I really liked this roll and would definitely order again. $21 Shrimp Tempura Roll- This is a nice shrimp tempura roll that comes with lots of veggies- cucumber, avocado, and shredded daikon. I really liked this and thought it was a better shrimp tempura roll than most places. $13 Vegetarian Tempura Roll- This was the standout with sweet potato tempura and Japanese pumpkin tempura. It was delicious and nice flavor. $11 Service was great. We were seated off the main area that is much better decorated. Our area is a bit bare. It would be nice if they added a little more ambiance in the area. They were working on their dessert menu and only had lychee sorbet to offer which I didn't really want to try with it being 20 degrees outside. I had a little issue with the parking. I grabbed a ticket and parked. Then, I received the validation for the parking. When I tried to exit, the scanner wouldn't accept either side of my ticket. Thankfully someone picked up and let me out after I explained everything. It was a really cold night so hopefully I won't run into that again next time. Sushi Row says that they validate for up to three hours according to their parking information on IG. I am going to confirm if it's two or three and then report back! Overall, I definitely think it's a solid place and will definitely be coming back!

The food is pretty solid. We got the Shrimp tempura roll, spicy lucca roll, Rocco roll, spicy salmon roll, creamy salmon crispy rice, spicy tuna crispy rice, baked crab taco, spicy tuna + shrimp tempura taco, and rock shrimp. I enjoyed everything but didn't care for the rock shrimp. It wasn't anything special. The drinks were also nice and strong. Prices are a tad high but at least the food was good and the restaurant is a nice vibe. Service was excellent. Our server was the best. Parking is available at the T3 garage behind the restaurant/in the same building. They validate for 3 hours.

The vibes, ambiance, music, staff and food are immaculate! Very much lofi upbeat joji vibes. Just over a week open, I missed out half an hour at opening because Apple Maps said 11:30am open time. Parking - off the street (free) or there is a parking lot you can pay by the hour with the QR code. $5.38 for an hour of parking. They have lunch specials from 11-2pm, sushi, and many other cultured foods. I got the spicy pickled cucumber, steak and eggs tartar, and the lunch set. $77 for all. Spent an hour eating. First came out was the soup, salad and spicy pickled cucumber. Then the lunch special and shortly after the tartare. So. Much. Food. For. One. Person. Gender neutral bathrooms. Spacious place, along with private rooms to book. Spicy Pickled Cucumber - spicy, great crunch, great presentation. Sesame oil, chili flakes, sesame seeds. Great amount too. Salad - light, fresh, and I feel like a rabbit trying to eat the bigger pieces lol. Tomatoes and clementines. Very light but great dressing. Nothing overbearing. Just light. Steak and egg tartare - everything was portioned just right. Enough for every bite. Just place the tartare on the side you see so you don't hurt the inside of your mouth. Look at the caviar on it! Miso soup - so tiny but you don't need much. Mushrooms, seaweed, tofu and another something inside lol. Light and delicious. Lunch special - first time having raw fish. Soft, great portions.

Sushi Row is verrryyyy cute!! Immediately walking up you can see the vibes and the music was so refreshing to hear a mix of all genres except country music...no shade but we hear enough of it everywhere else. SR is definitely on the calmer side of Wedgewood-Houston which is a plus! The service was great! The staff were fun and friendly. The food, mm mm mm, delicious and the menu was unique! I will definitely be back in the day time to see if it matches the night time aesthetic. All in all I will be back!

10/10 recommend. Came here to with my girls and let me tell you the vibes are everything. For a restaurant that just opened 2 days ago, i couldn't tell. Our waitress Amanda was so sweet and gave us some amazing recommendations. We asked her what her favorites were so and she named the Rooco roll, Surf and a turf roll and sweet Kaden. We put in an order of the crispy rice and after some deliberating we decided to go with her recommendations. One the crispy rice was soo good, but Amanda's recommendations were beyond. I can't wait to try the place was again. I think the surf and turf was my favorite; however, everything was amazing...and having great service was the icing on top. Amanda was great! Excited to come back for a date night.

Checked out this new spot today and loved it. I lucked up with street parking near the restaurant. As soon as I walked in, the ambiance drew me in. Our waitress, Amanda was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and shared how they've only been open for three days. For starters, we ordered the Spicy Tuna + Shrimp Tempura tacos wnd the spicy tuna crispy rice. Then we shared the Rocco roll, sweet Kaden roll and the surf & turf roll. Everything was delicious but the surf &turf and tacos were a top favorite! I'll definitely be back here. Between the service and great food, it'll be perfect for a night out with friends or a date night

Nashville sushi is definitely getting better. Sushi Row is just one example of this serious upgrade over the last 12 months. Crispy rice, outstanding drinks, fresh sushi, wonderful entrees and starters inside a beautiful environment. Parking garage and street parking readily available nearby. The service is a little odd as you have a community of servers working all the tables. But outside of getting our check all went very smooth. The desert menu is weak, but there is a wonderful italian option across the street for cannoli!!

Loved sushi row and will definitely be back soon. I made a reservation for a friend's birthday, and they had seated us at a communal table. We asked if there was a way to get our own table and they were super accommodating and gave us a great private table behind a curtain. The restaurant is beautiful and has a swanky ambiance. Drinks were excellent, I had the lychee martini and it was delish. I tried the edamame and the rocco roll and both were so good and just the right amount of food. We also ordered both the matcha and lychee ice creams for dessert and they were both to die for. All around a great experience with friendly service and delicious food.

I was not blown away in any shape or form. I was so excited to try this new sushi spot but the sun was blasting us in the face, the drinks were alright, and the sushi was not very special. There are many places with a better best spicy tuna crispy rice.

Had a fun time here. The space is warm and inviting without feeling overdone or cheesy. The staff was helpful and attentive to us throughout our meal. One of the highlight was the cocktail menu which really delivered. We tried several of them and found that all of them hit their mark. To eat, we started with the edamame which was simple, but very well done. We also tried different rolls (I can't remember the names) and all were great. Everything came out fresh and the fish tasted like it was handled with care. The other highlight for me, though, was the Spicy Tuna + Shrimp Tempura tamaki tacos. Two came in each order and I wish there had been more. The shrimp had a nice crunch to it and the spicy tuna brought just enough heat to the tacos. The whole dish came together very well and it was fun to eat it like a taco. The only thing I didn't like about my experience here was that there were only 2 bathroom, one of which was occupied for a very long time, so my wait to use the bathroom was quite long. Nevertheless, it was a great experience here!

    This is their $17 Carajillo.
    Vinnie B.

Give these folks a few weeks to get their acts together. The carajillo I ordered was just straight tequila. Off to a weird start. The nori holding the sushi tacos was soggy by the time the server brought them to me so they were tough to bite through. I got the six-piece omakase ('market price' total for this dish was $82.31) and those were definitely the stars of the show. However, still hungry, I ordered a Rocco Roll. Shouldn't have. Disappointing. The place was crowded, and I ordered a Kirin before I left, and it took forever to come out. Total cost of this experience including tip was $207.35. I might go back once they work out all the kinks, but not for a while.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
