Shrimp Pasta. This was a favorite of ours. So many flavors and so tasty. ( 9.2/10 )

We visited ETC. for the first time today for a weekday lunch and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and all seemed very happy. The service was topnotch. The interior of the restaurant is clean and classy. They had a full bar with a list of wines and other alcoholic beverages. There are some street parking spots and they offer valet parking from 11:00 to 2:00 during the week ( I'm not sure about the weekends ) They had some outdoor seating with umbrellas. Our server informed us that everything is made in house except for the bread which is delivered fresh daily from a local Bakery. She also told us that they have their own pastry chef for their desserts, so we did get the Brown Butter Hazelnut Cake ( Delicious ) We had a very pleasant experience overall at this Classy restaurant. 5 Star from me and I will be going back.

From 8-year anniversary 2-years ago of first time dinner dinning to 10-year anniversary 2nd time dinner dinning. Same waiter and same great service! Same delicious drinks and food! It is small-ish corner restaurant, so when fully booked it may seem loud with everyone's conversations. However, still intimate with all the lighting and decor. Plenty of easy and no payment parallel street parking. Quiet neighborhood of hotels and businesses at night. We will DEFINITELY dine at the rest of 4Top Hospitality's other restaurants here in Nashville. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program!

Amazing dinner. Amazing service. Might be my new favorite spot in Nashville. We came here for a double date at the recommendation of the other couple and were blown away. First off the service was amazing and our server was so helpful (along with the bartender) and it truly felt like they were old friends or something. She was well versed in the menu and wasn't afraid to be honest with us about things based on our likes. The menu is simple yet complex and we were each blown away by the main dish we got. I got the special fish of the day which was amberjack and I'll be dreaming about the bed of grits it came on for eternity. We had a wide variety of drinks and enjoyed every aspect of the meal. We will definitely be back.

First let me say the service by all was amazing! I love places where the server can explain a meal with passion. Well that's how Cole did. The menu was funny at first me and my sweetheart wasn't sure what we saw grabbed us so we settled for shrimp tostadas (his) and cat fish po mi (mine) the presentation was beautiful and the taste was excellent. I am really funny with my catfish but this was fried to perfection. It was a huge sandwich so I had to eat open faced but every bite of everything the meal came with was amazing!!! My sweetheart's shrimp - somebody press charges - again perfection! Must go if you are in town!

10 stars + !! The food was perfection. Chef Deb is the same owner as Etch in Downtown. Etc is a mini Etch hence the name. Most menu options are dairy and gluten free but that does not detract from the quality in any way. I had the salmon special and it was one of the rare dishes that was bursting with flavor but not overly buttered, salted, or fried. The bread is served with a new type of butter creation every evening. Ours had 2 butters: sweet chocolate and the savory butter was similar to a potato chip. Both were outstanding And the desserts, oh my, so good. Please don't miss out on this restaurant, especially if you're staying next door at the Marriott or Hyatt. It's a 1 minute walk.

One of the best restaurants in Nashville! Food is consistently good here with so many unique flavor combinations. Presentation for each dish is superb and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place! It's so good!!

Beautifully curated dishes, with plenty of healthy options. The food was simply delicious. Our server was not only attentive, but also entertaining! An intimate setting in a lovely neighborhood - really enjoyed this restaurant. It's a little "spendy" - worth it for a special night out with friends!

My late lunch at Etc. was perfection. The ambiance and service were exceptional. As a foodie with severe gluten and corn allergies, I was thrilled that the staff ensured almost any meal could accommodate my dietary restrictions. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I've already told my friends about it and plan to return for dinner soon, as I know it will be fantastic as well. I love dining at places that go the extra mile to ensure my experience is enjoyable. Thank you, Etc.!

Dang!!! this was delicious. I started off with the Bake Fetta (baked feta roasted red bell pepper, tomatoes, currants, olives, capers, preserved lemon, mint orange syrup, warm focaccia wedge, avocado) and finished off with the (Cocoa Coffee Venison - medium rare plantain carrot relish, masa griddle cake, black bean mole, blackberry gastrique, sugar peas, ginger crema). I wish I could take a whole loaf of the masa griddle cake!! Everything was delicious. The vegetables were just okay but still pretty good. Highly Recommend

It was the worst of times, it was the best of times. Started with the Eggplant Tempura, which although containing a multitude of fresh ingredients, was strangely flavorless. So much so that I briefly wondered if I had Covid was was experiencing the flavor loss thing. But the venison. Wow. A panapoly of interesting and wonderful flavors. Like walking through a magical bazaar where each stall offered a completely different experience, but it all made sense somehow. Get the carrots as a side. They represent root vegetables in a spectacular way. Desserts...heck yeah! The panna cotta and the brown butter cake were equally robust flavor extravaganzas. The service was a little, IDK, beset by trope-ridden humor. Meh. So that's why not 5 stars.

    Sesame Cured Salmon
    Paul J.

Wow, this place is really good. Ambling through tony Green Hills, we came upon Etc. and was able to snag a table. We started with the bread and butter - toasted and charred sourdough with a sweet cherry butter and a savory peanut butter. Then the sesame cured salmon stacked on top of a rice fritter with watermelon and tobiko, perfectly hitting all the taste buds. Then we split a cornmeal catfish with kashmir shrimp - perfectly cooked, large and flaky filet with plump shrimp, then the latin eggplant & mushroom filo tart, deep and earthy, a nice mix of textures in addition to flavors. And we finished it off with the olive oil almond cake with blackberry fig puree and vanilla bean crema, and burnt orange ice cream. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Nashville!

I was really pleased with my experience at etc restaurant. I made reservations by calling an hour in advance on a Tuesday night. The gentleman who took the reservation was extremely kind and thorough. I arrived with my party and was immediately asked if it was a business meeting so that they could offer me an option of a closed in booth in the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen. I was interested in seating outside, however they were already booked up there. The waitress was amazing. Her bubbly personality and knowledge about food added to the overall experience. We ordered a round of cocktails which arrived within 15 minutes. All of them were delicious. We ordered some appetizers, including sourdough bread with two butters, and brussels sprouts. For my meal I ordered an appetizer and a salad. I got smoked salmon and beet salad. A gentleman in my party ordered veal. I was pleased to see a few vegetarian options, including tofu scallops that was a main course. Our appetizers were pretty good. I enjoyed sourdough bread, but brussel sprouts were just a bit too fatty for me. Chunks of bacon were definitely not a good addition. Main courses arrived in a reasonable time frame and was very visually appealing. The colors on each of the plates were so diverse that we could not wait to actually try our meals. My beet salad was quite delicious. I would highly recommend it. The flavors and depth of the sauce were unusual to say the least. In general, we found our meals very unique. So refreshing to see a restaurant like this in Green hills. Smoke salmon was a bit odd because it was served on top of a deep fried rice cake, but the combination of wasabi with smoked salmon was a hit! Other main courses were just as delicious, as my colleagues shared. Overall, a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially to those who are looking for a unique experience. I will be back.

We had a lovely brunch before I had to hop on a plane back home. The service was friendly and attentive in this small and cozy spot with valet parking. The bartender even came over to check on us as she was pleased to make the tequila spritz's that she invented. - delicious as they were beautiful! The bread can't be beat. We had the tomato and sweet potato bisque which was delicious with the bread! I had the catfish and wasn't disappointed and my friend, salmon which is one of her favs. She is a regular patron at Etc as I will be too, when I have the chance to return to Nashville!

The outdoor seating looks great but not on the chilly day we were here. Reservations are recommended on the weekend and we had them but they wouldn't have been necessary before noon. We were seated by our server upon our arrival. The wine list covers a wide range of flavors but isn't very deep. The full bar can conjure anything. Kyle came back serveral times to get multiple orders. Menu items are closer to tapas to be enjoyed while drinking, so Postino's might not be your number 1 dining location but great for a gather place or pre-dinner cocktail. We popped around the menu trying different things. For us, the bruschetta is reminiscent of smorrebrod, Danish open-faced sandwiches. Those are a hit with us. Everything felt house made with carefully thought out flavors. Tops was the salmon pesto bruschetta and the vanilla glaze dipping sauce for the donut bites. By the way, excellent preparation of the eggs. With its central location, this is a great place for us to gather and talk.

It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. Parking was a bit confusing for some of my friends, but once we arrived, things moved quickly. After checking in with the hostess, we were seated right away, and our server was reasonably attentive throughout the evening. We started with the spicy tuna on crispy rice--clearly inspired by Nobu's signature dish. It was a solid interpretation, though the rice leaned a bit too oily and could have used more seasoning to really bring it to life. For drinks, our group ordered an Old Fashioned and one of the featured cocktails. The Old Fashioned was a hit, but the cocktail fell a little flat--so a bit of a mixed bag there. For my entrée, I ordered the roasted chicken frites. The chicken itself was cooked properly, but the skin was unfortunately quite soggy, likely due to the garlic sauce. It also seemed like the dish may have sat in the service window for a bit before reaching the table, which didn't help. There was also an overwhelming amount of sauce--so much so that the fries were completely soaked and lost their texture. The few fries that weren't drenched paired really well with the truffle aioli, which was a highlight. My friends ordered the Bolognese and the Wagyu cheeseburger, and both described their meals as fine, but not memorable enough to warrant a return visit. Overall, The Henry is a convenient option if you're already in the 12 South area, but with so many standout restaurants in Nashville, there are definitely stronger choices nearby.

Tried the Guac as a starter and it was very good. They added pickled jalapeño and vinegar tomatoes on the side. It truly complemented the flavor. My wife ate it, and she is not a huge Guac fan; so that says a lot for the Guac. Early evening Entrees were chicken parm and I had buffalo chicken sandwiches with fries. House made pickles on the sandwich were ok. Apple slaw was a good compliment to the buffalo chicken. Looks like they used the same breaded chicken that they use on the chicken parm for the buffalo chicken sandwich. Fries were good. Some very very hard and overcooked. Chicken parm was cooked well and the pasta was cooked well. One of my biggest pet peeves when out to dinner anywhere is keeping the drinks filled. No matter what it is, soda, tea, etc. That does not happen here. That would be my only negative take from this place. Other than that, we would definitely suggest checking out this place for lunch/brunch or dinner. They do have live music at night as well if that is your cup of tea. Pricing is a bit higher than some, so be aware that you may pay a little more to eat here, but the food is fresh and the menu is health conscious.

Customer Beware I have read all of Dr. Weil's books. He is…read moreone of the founders of TFK. I have always enjoyed going to TFK in Nashville. The food was always so fresh, healthy and delicious on my other visits. It was truly one of my favorite places to visit in Nashville. One of my favorites included the Edamame Dumplings as an appetizer. I had been looking forward to visiting all day for Mother's Day. When we got there, we ordered the Edamame Dumplings. They were cold and undercooked. We could not eat them. They took that off of our bill. I thought the food would get better and it was just one snafu. I was wrong. My husband's hamburger was flavorless. His fries tasted like rocks. My glass noodle bowl with tofu was not good. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The tofu was not seasoned at all. The highlight of the dish were the mushrooms which tasted like they had been soaked in a marinade for 2 days. The server was attentive and kind. She got the manager even though we didn't want her to do that. That is the main reason that I am writing this review. He was disconnected and said he was sorry and offered us a free dessert next time. Are you kidding me? There won't be a next time at this location. We will try other TFK's when traveling. I can't imagine that Dr. Weil would be proud of the food or the uncomfortable encounter with the manager. He seemed to think we were looking for a free meal which I 100% assure you we were not. We tipped 20% of the bill even though the food was not edible. We are both professionals in our 40s and are not scheming to get free meals, of which I didn't even eat. It was uncomfortable for him to offer us a free dessert on the next visit when the visit we had was terrible. The one star goes to the server. She was the only nice part of the visit.
