Didn't feel like I was right in the heart of bustling East Nashville - felt like a little retreat. The service was great and so patient with us as we were quite indecisive. Especially since it was a new menu and there were no pics online (then I totally forgot to take pics to help future yelpers not fall to my fate, alas!). I landed on the French Toast Bread Pudding. It was quite heavenly, but I do wish it was a bit bigger for the price... My friends both got the Avocado Toast and a few of us ordered sides of chicken sausage (and yeah, that was good and they were also a good size, plus 3 links were included in each order). We finished quite quickly but were in a deep convo about who knows what, but never felt rushed to leave (probs as it was kind of between service times, but still, appreciated). Ambiance : 5/5 They had amble indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate small intimate tables and larger groups. We opted for indoor seating for the cushion seats. Food/Drink 5/5 Outstanding meals with a Michelin Star presentation. I had the Halibut dish and my wife had the Beef tenderloin. They change the menu seasonally. Ambience and great food! I reserved this for my 50th birthday dinner(a month ahead of time) . This was my first time to Nashville and although we were staying downtown I wanted somewhere off the beaten path for our last dinner. Somewhere quiet enough we can chat and hang out with yummy food and a cool vibe. This place nailed it!! every min of our meal was made special. Our waiter made the experience perfect. If you are visiting Nashville and you don't come here you are missing out on a little jewel. $8 uber from downtown. When you come plan your dinner so you can enjoy the deck in the back! I had the trout, we tried almost all of the appetizers plus desserts. The food was delicious and filling. The presentation was really well done on everything. So I think this is about the fourth five star review I've ever given. First of all the ambience in this area is super cute and quirky. The restaurant completely lives up to that. We got reservations and sat on the patio. It was a little bit chilly, but that's not the restaurants fault since winter decided to come back and give it an extra go. There were heaters on the patio just not turned on so I think even in colder weather it could be very pleasant.. I love a good mocktail, and it started with the so near yet so far, it was delightful, and my companion had a delicious mistake, and everybody who tried it at the table was obsessed. We tried brussels sprouts the bread and butter and the truffle potatoes as small plates and they were all fantastic. We have a very picky eater in our party today and even he was all over everything. The potatoes were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the sauce was delicious. The bread and butter combo had a delicious depth to it that I would've eaten an entire basket myself. Two of us had the beef tenderloin with potatoes and the sauce that it was served with was excellent and almost reminded me of like a butter, chicken or chicken marsala, but really kicked the flavor up a notch, and another person in our party had the halibut and was almost ready to drink the rest of her sauce with a spoon. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned very well. There was not a changing table in the bathroom that we went into which was a little bit sad as it's hard to change the four month old, but there was enough counter space we managed. Wheelchair accessibility: there are definitely places in this restaurant that would be very tricky to get to with a wheelchair, however they're also places in each of the sections where wheelchairs would fit nicely except for possibly the outside bar. There is a possibility that there was a way to get up there with a wheelchair, but I didn't see it. The bathrooms were OK. The doors were a little bit heavy and they were a little bit small. But are definitely not a couple. All in all this is definitely worth a trip. read more

Cute little date night before hitting a concert at the Basement East. If I wasn't alcohol free currently, I would have LOVED to try their awesome drink menu! Their drinks sound amazingly delicious - 12/10 on the names! We ordered a few appetizers: Crispy Brussels, Burrata, and the Arancini. We also had fresh baked bread, they get their bread from the bakery across the street and it's superb - it's a must try! If we had to rank them based on what we enjoyed best it would go Brussels, Arancini and then the Burrata. The Burrata wasn't our favorite. We ordered the gnocchi to share, they even split the meal for us! Very helpful! I think next time we will want to try out something different as an entree. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but either the texture or flavor was not doing it for me. I had been here for drinks before and the same bartender was our waiter, he was great! Brunch dreams in East Nashville The most perfect little house converted to a restaurant. We took a group of 6 (with reservations) and the service was phenomenal. Drinks, food, refills, everything was quick and correct. I would put the restaurant at the top of the brunch options in Nashville. Not only for food quality, but the atmosphere and service. I loved the hash, my family loved their sandwiches, and the coffee drinks were fantastic! And prices didn't break the bank. It's also walkable to other spots for after food cocktails. The ambiance & idea of this place was good; the cocktails were good, too. The service was pretty good, except they added a default 25% tip that we changed to a custom amount. The food and drinks took forever despite us being the only people in the restaurant, the portions were a little small (not a huge deal, but I was with a dude that was super hungry), and the dishes overall where like one single item with some sort of sauce. It didn't feel quite like a meal. What we ordered wasn't overwhelmingly delicious--kind of plain and boring in fact. The menu is also pretty limited & oddball. We went when they just opened so we had no issues with service; they were very attentive to our empty cups of coffee to always ask us for more... food with superb; had the breakfast sandwich and husband at the chicken and waffles... the sandwich is only a half but the egg soufflé on it was super thick so very filling.. It can be warm there in the early evening but cools off quickly as the sun begins to set. The front outside tables are just too close to street traffic for me. The food here is really quite excellent. On this visit we tried the Brussels sprouts, high marks. The trout was perfect (And Served Hot Off The Grill) and helped greatly in conquering my fear of restaurant served trout. It was both sides of the fish too, a nice portion. Came in for brunch on my girls trip birthday weekend after someone had recommended them for dinner but they only do brunch Sundays. Our reservation was noon and it was pretty dead cause the Titans were playing but the atmosphere was great and so was the staff!
