Rare Bird is a must visit while downtown. Love the vibe, it's friendly, music is great, cocktails are delicious and amazing and great views. It gets packed later on in the evening. Stopped in during happy hour and stayed into the night.

I came for a staycation and have not been disappointed. Rare bird had a nice HH special and I thoroughly enjoyed the bed and onion soup and Brussels sprouts. The service was kind of shoyw, but only because it was one person behind the bar and his hand was broken. The outside balcony area was nice, and I'm sure it's great when the fireplace is on. Great view of the Batman building and the new/old Titans stadium. I'll be back for HH tomorrow

I loved everything about Rare Bird except the service. We found this adorable spot by accident. We wandered up to a cozy al fresco cafe and were impressed. Small but full of character, we looked forward to an afternoon cocktail with a view. The orange floral decor met us right at the elevator. Several seating areas with sofas and a huge fireplace and a large bar in the middle offered plenty of seating options. We sat at the bar out of the sun. Two young bartenders watched us arrive and get seated as they chatted next to the bar. We waited over 5 minutes as they continued to giggle and chat. I made eye contact a couple of times to no avail. Finally one of the girls walked over and provided service that seemed against her will. No greeting, no smile, no thank you. They went back to chatting behind the bar bent over with elbows on the lower counter and the tops of theirs heads or backs to the customers, depending on where you were sitting. Our bartender never came back, so we left after our cocktail. Our drinks were unimpressive, but given the attitude of the bartender, I was not surprised. The lackluster service and unprofessional behavior did not dim the many positive elements going for Rare Bird. The river view, talented musician and wonderful clientele made this hidden gem worth another chance. I will definitely stop in again and hope the staff has upgraded.

A friend recently introduced me to Rare Bird, and I'd definitely consider this my new go-to for cocktails in Printer's Alley. Located at the top of Noelle hotel, we popped up for a couple of drinks after checking out the new Lona restaurant downstairs. We visited on a rainy winter weeknight, and while the rooftop patio wasn't open, the view of Downtown Nashville was still gorgeous. We were one of only two groups at the bar that night, but the bartender still made us feel welcome. They have a few craft cocktails and snacks available on their menu, but we asked the bartender if she could make us some Spicy Margaritas, and she was able to whip them up with zero issues. We also put in an order of their Truffle Fries, which were perfectly crispy, and the portion size was made to share. The only thing that struck us as a little odd was that the bar closed at 8 PM. I have a feeling these might be their winter hours, but we would've loved to stick around for another round if they'd stayed open.

Chill rooftop on top of the Noelle, which is a beautiful hotel in the lobby with historic details. The truffle fries pair great with a cocktail overlooking the city in a calmer part of downtown. Bartenders were nice and there's a good amount of options on the menu!

Located on the rooftop of Noelle Hotel. Unfortunately it was raining the night we came, but it looked like a really nice space. The drinks were not my favorite, it tasted to me like perfume/herbal.

Came here with my girlfriends for the first time. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. I loved that theyhad fur coats available so that you can enjoy the rooftop and still stay warm. We ordered our drinks and food at the bar. Hung out there for a bit before migrating outside. The outside setup is very cute, there's 2 wood burning fire places plus multiple heaters. We were able to stay nice and warm. We came on a Wednesday night and wasn't super busy...the bartender was very attentive and the staff made sure they kept adding wood to the fireplace for us to enjoy. The service was great. We shared the chicken and caviar and fries. It was most of our first time having caviar and it wasn't bad. I would order it again. Since we ordered caviar we were able to go to the hidden bar downstairs and skip the line. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful views from this rooftop bar

This place is a true gem and a great hidden spot. My dentist in Arvada recommend it ( like WTH...but she knows) The true secret of Nashville are the very chill rooftop bars with their cool quiet vibe and spectacular views. Now Rare bird doesn't have great service...like we would have never gotten a cocktail if we hadn't barreled up to the bar...but in a way it is great that you can just hang and not have to have a drink pushed down you ever 10 minutes. Cocktails are great...very well made. You can actually relax and have a quiet conversation here. Perfect for pre drinks before a show at the Ryman Now the secrets out...good luck Y'all.

A go-to spot when a venture downtown! An espresso martini or margarita with a view like that is just unbeatable! I've always had great service, plus pretty good food!

Rare bird is the rooftop bar at the top of the Noelle hotel. They have a huge bar and plenty of seating around with a fantastic view. Also excited to go back when it's a little cooler and see the 2 fireplaces they have in action. The drinks were very good and the bartenders were great! Food was amazing! The Nashville hot cauliflower wasn't actually hot, but it was very good with lots of butter. The Noelle Angus Burger was delicious and was paired with amazing fries! Go for the great view and a good time!

Here on a Sunday. Ordered the Early Bird and the Snow bird cocktails. Both amazing! We also had the truffle fries. Delicious!! Bartender made the drinks on point. The view faces the Titan Stadium and the Batman building. Some people expect more from the view. I thought it was perfect. It's a bit more cozy and not loud which we loved. Will definitely be coming back.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.

Staff at the humidor offered zero guidance or recommendations. Drinks were forgettable, and we had to fetch them ourselves from the bar like we were at a college sports pub instead of an upscale cigar lounge. Then came the cigars. We were left to cut and light them ourselves, which would've been fine if every disposable torch in the place wasn't nearly empty or completely out of butane. Nothing says 'premium lounge experience' quite like fighting for a working lighter. To top it off, the moment a large group walked in, the bartender started loudly screaming out drink orders across the room.
