    Smoked Bacon Queso Fries

Came here with some friends for happy hour and had a good time. Service was pretty attentive, no complaints. The restaurant has a modern feel and most of the crowd in there is older adults. I got the rum punch drink and it was good, couldn't taste the rum. We got a series of appetizers and liked the queso fries the best. We thought we would enjoy the chick bites the most but it was a very very small serving size. Happy hour prices are reasonable ranging from $7-9. Overall: decent happy hour in Midtown for a mature crowd.

Drinks and food were great! Our waitress was super accommodating of a party of 8 and took us to a back section and put tables together for us. She also memorized who ordered what drink and came out with funny dad jokes! The place itself is attached to a hotel, and the ambiance is upscale and modern.

Service was excellent Duck pasta was interesting Lamb meatballs had pork so I was sad but hubby said it was good. The sauce and veggies were yummy. The fish was whipped so that was interesting. Over all a good experience but not quite my taste.

Delicious all around!! Very classy place either way great good. Select options to choose from, conveniently located in hotel, but no parking so you need to use garage or walk from wherever you were. Great atmosphere and staff. There are booths and a bar to choose from. Note: can be pricey.

Happy hour from 2-6pm; it's not super cheap but still fun to enjoy. The chicken 615 was quite good. Small little bites of very well fried crispy chicken with this yogurt-y spicy mayo-ish sauce. The Caesar salad was pretty standard; crunchy pieces of lettuce with a good amount of dressing and these fried cheese blocks. I ordered the reginetti for my entree and it was great! Pasta was really well cooked and the sauce was very creamy and just the right amount of sweetness balanced with savoriness.

First time in Nashville and we stumbled upon Henley for brunch. We stayed at Loews near Vanderbilt and it was a 6-7 minute walk to Henley. The host and waitress were friendly and welcoming. The food was really good too. We had the Not So Average Biscuits and Gravy and Southern Scramble. Both dishes were reasonably priced for brunch; about $15 each. The biscuits and gravy is a good option for a vegetarian diet - very flavorful without meat. The ambience is beautiful and there was an amazing singer, Heidi Burson, to complement. Visit this place when you're in town and you won't be disappointed.

This review is specifically for Rabbit Hole at Henley, a one per night only four-person tasting menu experience. I give it 4 stars for food, but I wish I could give it an extra half a star for the excitement of the environment and service. You walk in and are seated at the bar first, before following your personal waitress for the night (who by the way, is super friendly and sweet) to what seems like a normal wall. Shockingly, she then pushes the wall open to reveal the kitchen and a small, beautifully decorated table: The Rabbit Hole. All night, you are seated by yourself where you can watch the kitchen at work, and the executive chef is concentrated only on you and your food for 2+ hours. We were first given a bit of fortified wine before being briefed on the 13 courses to come. **BE AWARE: if you go down the Rabbit Hole only as 2 people, you WILL likely be seated with 2 strangers. Just be prepared for that. And enjoy meeting new people. :) We went as a group of 4 friends and that was super awesome and personal too.** I won't walk you through every single course, simply because they change every week so that wouldn't be helpful. However, I'll give you a general overview and some standouts. The dishes were unique, but because of the recent changing of executive chefs, I believe the emphasis has shifted from wild, gastronomic antics to just really well executed dishes. However, we still found a good bit of creativity. Some standouts were a 3 piece starter of various crisped up ingredients with umami flavors, a carrot soup with a pico de gallo and tempura crisp, one of the most well cooked trouts I've ever had, mexican fudge cake with passionfruit meringue, and basil ice cream. I'll say again, what really stood out to me was how well executed everything was, not necessarily any mindblowing pairings or presentations. One of the dishes that remains almost always on the menu is an iberico pork with a sort of corn sauce and whole green peppercorns. As a pepper lover, this was insane, since I've never had non-dehydrated peppercorns. A party in the mouth! Some of the dishes I liked less were a melon and avocado salad (boring), a sort of fried squash (again, less interesting), and the little treats at the end. But overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I LOVED how intimate it was and how kind and silly the staff were. **Also, I reccommend just being in the moment for the initial "opening of the rabbit hole," and then, if you want to take a video for your instagram or friends, just ask the waitress to go back through after.

We had a great time at Henely! The food was amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. We were helped by Sydnee who explained all the dishes well and ensured to always check in on us. Marissa also took us to see the Rabbit hole experience which will be a must book in the future. Highly recommend this spot! Ea

Sid made it an amazing experience from the minute we walked it! Food was fantastic. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and they made a special banana bread treat for her. Highly recommend and ask for said to be your server. She's fantastic!

@ 8/24/2025 - 3:21am THE PARKING COMPANY AT THIS LOCATION, LITERALLY HELD ME HOSTAGE IN THE PARKING GARAGE SO I CALLED 911.

@ 8/24/2025 - 3:21am THE PARKING COMPANY AT THIS LOCATION, LITERALLY HELD ME HOSTAGE IN THE PARKING GARAGE AND REFUSED TO LET ME OUT EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR PARKING AND LAUGHED WHEN I TOLD THEM I HAVE PTSD SO I CALLED 911. I do DoorDash as a second job, I had a delivery here but I was very confused and couldn't even find my customer. I was a little frustrated cause the rule here for parking is, if you're longer than 10 minutes you have to pay for parking. I was only a little over 10 minutes and had to pay 7$. I paid for parking, got my receipt and tried to exit the garage and the arm within the parking garage wouldn't open and let me out cause it was "broken". I started to slightly panic because I'm diagnosed with C-PTSD from being held hostage in the past. I pressed the assistance button on the machine and some lady responded and I said: listen I paid for parking, but the arm isn't coming up please get me the F out of here. She said: "you don't need to cuss me out etc etc and the arm isn't working at this location" Yes I did cuss... but I wasn't cussing the lady out nor had a problem with her directly, I was panicking because I legitimately have a diagnosis of C-PTSD. I was very scared when I couldn't get out. I told her: please I have PTSD I'm not cussing you out I apologize but please get me out of here. However do you think she cared or had any compassion? Or tried to even have a little empathy and understand? Absolutely NOT. She snarked and almost was laughing about it... She thought it was almost funny and amusing. It was nothing short of sadistic, mean, cruel, immoral, inhumane and completely unethical. THE worst I've ever been treated by ANY COMPANY. I said: okay if the arm is broken... how do I get out please? She didn't even tell me an alternative to get out, making me feel more trapped, I literally had to ask... and was confused and disoriented. She said: "You'll need to find 20th ave" I said: How am I supposed to find 20th ave when I'm in a parking garage? I didn't understand because I've never been here before or even inside a parking garage like it. I said can you please tell me how to get there? She said: No I can't snarking... we're not local so I can't tell you but I'll tell you if you can find it, just press the assistance button again and I'll let you out. So I repeated back what she told me, to hold her accountable for what she told me. I said: so what you're saying is... you can't tell me how to get to the next exit, but if I find the 20th ave exit somehow, you'll let me out, if I press the assistance button correct? She said: Yes that's correct...THAT WAS A WHOLE LIE... I find the 20th ave exit and press the assistance button and said: Okay I found the 20th ave exit... please let me out, you know I already paid. She said: Nope, I can't let you out until you give me your full name and phone number...to look up the transaction, I started to get paranoid and it pushed me further into being triggered by my PTSD. If she would've initially said that the first time I pressed the button for assistance... it would've made me highly uncomfortable but at least I would've been aware BUT SHE CHANGED UP WHAT SHE INITIALLY TOLD ME ALTOGETHER making me feel like now she's just playing some sadistic game for her own amusement with my literal life, just cause she thought I was "cussing her out" or she just didn't like me? Idk. I said: No, you didn't say that before, why would you even need my full name and phone number for what? I have the receipt and a transaction number, my name isn't even on the receipt. So there's no reason for you to obtain this information because you wouldn't even be able to look me up by my name. She said: without it, she was REFUSING to let me out...she needed it to look up the transaction with my name.... so I said: what you're saying is you're holding me hostage? Do I need to call 911 and tell the police? She said: Do whatever you feel you have to do... SO YES I CALLED 911. WORST NIGHTMARE EVER

Located right under a hotel, this little spot is a spot for a romantic dinners and dinner with friends on special occasions. My girlfriend and I came on New Years Eve to try their pre-fix menu for $150 a person. The pre-fix was decent. It was made for the New Years Eve dinner event. Order: 2 pre-fix, a cosmo, and a partridge in a pear tree Comment: The food was good but lacked that punch that would otherwise have made this a great meal. The crab bisque was definitely one of my favorites and it has changed my perspective on any future bisques I try. The beef tartare lacked punch whether it was in the sourness of the lemon or the lack of spiciness from the pepper. The king crab pasta was decent but was definitely dryer than I was expecting. The iberico was uneven with a couple pieces being way bigger than others. Finally, the homemade ice cream has pieces of crunch which was a good idea in concept but was poorly done in execution. Some pieces were WAY too big and my tooth hurt from biting into it. Would not recommend that as a dessert. Overall: the experience was nice but not worth the total of $350. They had clearly marked up the price astronomically for New Years and did spend nearly enough time to execute the courses. I would not recommend this pre-fix menu if you have other options. I could see myself coming for drinks at their bar as it was a nice spot near the center of their restaurant.

It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! That is the answer!

I appreciated that it wasn't overly cheesy, and the leeks actually brought a lot to the dish. Next, we tried the special, which was a Thai curry snapper, and the hot chicken dish. My goodness were we unprepared for just how perfect and delicious these would be. I absolutely couldn't get enough of the peanut slaw paired with the chicken. My fiancé is pretty picky when it comes to fried chicken, and he said this was the 2nd best fried chicken he's ever had. The flavor of the curry was also very interesting- it was pineapple forward but also had a slight kick. Finally, the service was efficient, quick, and so friendly. We were seated right away, and the restaurant was lively but not too loud. I would definitely recommend a reservation, we went on a Thursday night and it was quite busy! However, it seems like they have a decent amount of bar seating available too. We're not local to Nashville, but we will definitely be back one day. Will also be recommending to everyone go try it!!
