Great place to grab a drink and watch the game. Their outdoor space was very sport directed and inside was truly a Nashville staple bar. They had servers floating around to tables outside, or a bar to walk up to. The only reason they were not a 5 star were prices of beer/cocktails ($140 for 5 cocktails and a Diet Coke) and friendliness of staff. read more

No Bad Vibes Here! The ambiance & decor is really cool & tells the Old Dominion story. There is plenty of seating ( you can even sit in a pontoon while you listen to the band). Great dance floor& outdoor patio with a bar & big screen. OD definitely did not chinch on the decor! I love that it is one level and open. Makes it feel more interactive! My husband & I went on a Thursday night shortly after they opened & had a few drinks. Service was good. However, sorry to say, the Yacht Rock Band performing was not a good vibe. To be fair, they were entertaining & sounded good but they sounded more like a wedding band. Snooze. The DJ that went on after the band was great! Life is Short Make It Sweet & get to Odie's to see what the hype is all about! I will definitely be frequenting Odie's. Plan on trying some food on my next visit. I'm not much of a bar person but I will say that the bacon, cheese fries were so good we ordered two. My friend who is a big Old Dominion fan loved it. Service was good but I did have to pay $25 for parking. read more

My two friends and myself had such a great afternoon here yesterday. We enjoyed the people and the music The Shyena Gee band was awesome. They were very nice and even though they started off by saying that anybody that gave them $20 can request a song, within 30 minutes or so she was taking request from anyone even without a tip. They did a great job performing at the Old Dominion's new restaurant/bar. Kylah was a great server. She took super good care of us during our five hour adventure. It turns out we knew someone in common, so that was fun. We were able to chat with the operations manager, Jack, and also met the manager Ryan. Also, your bus boy Hector is doing an awesome job! He would come by every hour or so, and pick up all of our empties, clean up any liquids that were on the table. I also saw him checking the bathrooms to make sure they were clean and organized. You are lucky to have him. Finally, we had a fun little chat with Messiah with security while we were waiting for our Lyft. Fun timeshad by all. read more

Where do I start, I am visiting from New York and we decided to stop here. I had the mushroom swiss burger. This burger was delicious. My husband had the steak on the stick. I had a taste of the steak, and it was fantastic. Kudos to the chef. We shared2 buckets of Lakehouse Lemonade! This drink was great. The bartender and staff were very knowledgeable of things on the menu and also the surrounding area. When you walk into the building, you'll find the merch stand on the right, which definitely needs more merchandise to sell. There are several bars around the establishment, my favorite area was the boombox wooden radio, which is a DJ booth, was awesome. They also have a platoon boat that you sit in to eat dinner in, I thought that was so cool. Overall, hands-down, one of the best bar/restaurant that I went to the five days I was here. At 10:00 they will make you get up from the chair you are already sitting in to make a "no seating" area. They should either have bar chairs, or not. We had to ask a few times for my mom with a knee replacement to have the chair back she was already in. Already that was frustrating, but the guys never asked 2 girls to get up at all. read more

Stumbled into Odie's, Sat down, and Reba locks eyes with me like she's known me for years: "Vacation, huh? Let's make it count." Hands me a bourbon smash with fresh mint she muddled like a surgeon, perfect ice, perfect pour. I'm two sips in and she's already got me laughing about the time some guy proposed at last call. Next thing I know, she's lining up shots for me and three locals who just became my new best friends. She's got this magic--remembers your drink, your story, your dumb joke about your ex. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Nashville, Odie's needs to be on your list of hot spots you must visit! If you don't mind a 30 minute walk, you can even walk there from downtown. Physical layout: All one level (!!), spacious (this is important especially if you are tired of being crammed into the downtown honky tonks), indoor and outdoor areas, creative seating including high tops, picnic tables, booths, barstools and even the infamous pontoon boat. All this space allows for a lot of things to do and varied experiences - not just eating and drinking. There's a huge dance floor and activities like cornhole, giant screen TV viewing and a photo booth to name a few. Decor: It's got a lot of fun OD memorabilia that OD fans in particular will appreciate. Check out the surface of the main bar for a walk down OD's memory lane. Love how you can post your picture on the CC TV and be instantly famous. Food: I have had Brad's Nachos, the cobb salad, the chicken skewer, the steak skewer, the sweet potato tots, and the grilled cheese sandwich. The food is excellent! Really, trust me on this! Food prices are reasonable. Drinks: I am a bit of a margarita snob and their cadillac margarita passes the test with flying colors. I'd be hard pressed to venture out and order anything else - but I will force myself. I have seen (but not yet tried) the Aftershow Manhattan - it looks insanely and decadently good! Drink prices are standard for Nashville bars. Staff: Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner and managers are very hands-on. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and skilled at their craft. Entertainment: I was there for the OD pop-up show, so what can I say? Awesome! I have heard a few other bands there and have really liked them (but I can't remember their names unfortunately!). I hope they host some events like Writers Rounds as an ode to OD's roots and to Music Row right next door. The sound system is great. There is so much to do at Odie's and so many vantage points/scenes that you could easily spend a whole afternoon or evening there. Bonus: Don't be surprised if you spot a band member at Odie's. They are great about showing up to hang out (when they're not out on the road). read more

I enjoyed the band playing music, there's a huge TV with Pro football on outside. I ordered 2 margaritas & paid $56!! I know Nashville is expensive but that's over the top! Drinks at Low Places on Lower Broadway aren't that expensive! We also ordered food, my friend had a cheeseburger & said it was good. Went to Odies by chance and it was an amazing experience. Our bartender was Reba and she was absolutely incredible. She made our drinks perfectly. She was fast, friendly and professional.
