It was about 10:15pm when we arrived, so the place was fairly empty, but it was still lively and a good atmosphere without being chaotic, which was exactly what we wanted. (All the people there were middle aged, like us.) Because of the time, they were no longer serving drinks, and we only caught about half an hour of the dueling pianos, which was a shame -- it was so much fun and I wish we had gotten there earlier. The songs they played were older songs, songs I actually recognized, such as Lean on Me by Bill Withers, Don't Stop Me Now by Queen, Santeria by Sublime, and Wonderwall by Oasis. Dueling pianos at Bayou Keys was so fun, and if I am ever in Nashville again, I will be sure to go! [Yelp collections: Nashville, TN 2026]

If you're thinking about coming here... DO IT!…read more First off, make reservations. The place was packed. Not an open seat when we arrived, and our reservation was at 8:15pm. We ordered drinks and a flatbread pizza. Everything was great. As for the musicians, they rotate every hour (if I remember correctly) with a total of 4 musicians. They are very talented and extremely interactive with the crowd. They do receive tips, and sometimes will have tipping wars on the songs they play. Shoutout to the Filipino musician (Pinoy Pride! ) in my picture. She was awesome, and took a couple of our requests. Even got us on stage... Honestly, they were all awesome though. But yeah, if you're thinking about it or reading this review... GO! MAKE A RESERVATION! You won't regret it!

They paid attention to the reservation details and were ready to welcome us when we arrived. The food was very well executed. I had the elk at the recommendation of the server, others had the kangaroo, ribeye and salmon. Everything was delicious. Honestly was quite surprised how tender kangaroo is! We parked in a small lot on the side of the building which had plenty of spaces when they opened but was overflowing when we left. This lot is actually more expensive than valet though, so maybe don't be like us. If you're coming from the Broadway side, valet is going to be on the other side of the street so be prepared to do some fancy maneuvering! Overall a great experience and I would say perfect wine pairings. A little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.

The food was delicious--beautifully prepared, not as much flavor as I would have hoped for. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully presented. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere really made the experience stand out. The historic setting gives The Standard a unique Nashville charm, while still feeling elegant and intimate. It's the kind of place that works perfectly for a special occasion or just a memorable night out. Overall, The Standard met expectations. Good food, exceptional service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Nashville!

We moved south many years ago, have been watching his old TV show for some time, and decided to see his show since we'd be in the area. Glad we did. He's 84, but still spry, funny and entertaining. His show consists of many of his old hits and comedic stories (my wife can't get the chicken story out of her head), accompanied by a small orchestra. Dinner is optional, consisting of baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, a great dinner roll and a non-alcoholic drink. Not great, but not bad either. I'd say it's worth it ($20 per). Service was very good and the ambience is your basic dinner club. He's a class act.

Our waitress was very attentive. Food arrived quickly and as ordered. We sat next to the stage. The sound wasn't overwhelming. Bathroom was very clean. We heard Ray is retiring and not sure of the venue's future. (The hosts of the showdown were rather junior high talent show level. It was almost embarrassing.)
