The atmosphere here was exactly what you would expect from a dueling piano bar. The music was loud, energetic, and a lot of fun. The pianists did a great job keeping the crowd involved, and there was a good mix of songs that had everyone singing along. It was one of those places where you can walk in not knowing exactly what to expect and quickly find yourself having a great time. Going with a group of friends made it even better. We were able to grab some drinks, relax, laugh, sing along, and just enjoy the experience. There was a great energy in the room, and the performers really knew how to keep things moving. After spending the weekend in Nashville for the football game, this was a great way to experience another side of the city. We had already visited several historical landmarks and other Nashville attractions, so spending some time at a lively piano bar was a nice change of pace. We had a great time at Pete's and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for live entertainment and a fun night out in Nashville. The first time I heard Terri play and sing was at a wonderful restaurant in Green Hills -- since gone the way of all flesh. I told Terri after the show "I'll bet your parents were shocked when you came into the world White and Blonde." (She told me later that was the finest compliment she had ever received.) Of course, I said that, because she covers Dionne Warrick like no one I have ever hear, and get's down on the Blues. It is hard to say whether Terri is a better singer or jazz pianist. She is simply terrific at both. Terri has a great personality and talks to the audience between tunes, which is both enlightening and entertaining. So I am awarding V'Lounge Five Stars and look forward to my next vist.

I could not eat it. They did offer to get me something else, but that that time, I was done, just wanted to get that taste out of my mouth. This lot is actually more expensive than valet though, so maybe don't be like us. If you're coming from the Broadway side, valet is going to be on the other side of the street so be prepared to do some fancy maneuvering! The house salad was fine, but they didn't have any options to add protein to it. There is not a dress code, but the majority of people wear nicer than t-shirt / jeans. Abigail and her band presented an awesome…read moremix of stylised jazz standards and originals that kept the audience mesmerized for 90+ minutes. Abbie's voice is sweet, strong and true. As a singer-songwriter, she pays homeage to the female jazz greats of the past while bringing her own unique sounds to the stage. Her new album "Only a Dream" contains many of the songs she played last night. I highly recommended getting a copy. If you're into jazz, you will not be disappointed!
