Good, REALLY healthy food! tastes great and makes you feel great. there is a lot of fiber so you can get a tummy ache if you're not used to it, but this doesn't mean it's bad for you! I've gone here a few times and always have had a positive experience with the staff and enjoyed my food. you have to be careful not to get a bowl with too many flavors though if you're not prepared. Ordering ahead is a waste of time. I ordered avocado toast online and it said my order would be ready to pick up at 12:25. I did not get my order until 1:10. I had to beg the employees to make my food. Waiting almost an hour for avocado toast is insane. Had I not ordered a head and order at the restaurant, my order would have taken maybe 10 min max. There order ahead system is deeply flawed and does not work. They do not prioritize those orders at all. My lunch break is no long enough for this. This is the second time this has happened to me. What is the point of having an order ahead system if you ignore them? At least update your system to give accurate times to your customers. People order ahead so they don't have to wait. They have some really great menu items that are extremely delicious and they also offer some really good options for those with special dietary needs. Food is great, but consistently awful service. I frequent this location because there isn't much health food around, and every time we have terrible service. Food is cold, online orders aren't correctly completed (or curbside orders aren't delivered because no one saw the curbside order was ready), staff seems confused, orders are wrong, or the staff completely forgets your order altogether. It's frustrating. My partner is a vegetarian and we have to triple check that his order is right because it's been messed up in the past. This is the worst aubergine I've been to, and the food really is great so it's especially annoying , but I absolutely can't stand coming to this location. read more

All the food is amazing and if you are doing take out the service is awesome you will be the number one priority. If you come in to eat in person you will be IGNORED. I stood in line for over 15 mins while not a single person in line was served but bag after bag of delivery was sent out. I'm sad to see they've made SO many changes. I was a huge supporter of this place until now. They definitely cut down on the sizes of their bowls with a lot less protein for the same price. Also one of my favorite items on the menu, the cheese breads, have change for the worse. They're half the size they use to be, taste different and are more expensive. Their food is yummy, fresh, healthy, fun, and different. I'll be adding this to my list of favorite health food joints in the area. The workers were particularly friendly tonight. I was having a hard time picking something from the menu because everything looked so good, and they were kind and patient enough to help me eventually decide on the Chicken Coconut Curry. (Which I didn't not regret one bit! YUM!) We came to celebrate a friend's birthday, so they even threw in a handful of free extra cheese breads for us. We loved it! A couple complaints: -It was a bit messy when we got there. We had to wipe down our own table and chairs. -The pictures on the menu make it look like you are going to get a LOT more food than they actually give you. We ordered their most famous bowl of chicken curry and chicken and almond rice bowl. I found the chicken on the drier side, I feel like they kinda premake everything first and assemble it and serve. So you have food that sits there and served to you at their convenience. I just think it would be so much better if they freshly grilled it. Overall I still think it was good. Coming from the West Coast, it's great to find quick and delicious food with all the right sensibilities so close to where I'm staying. Aubergine offers lots of meat free options, GF, loads of fresh veggies, options for grain/no grain, tasty sauces, all attractively put together, and they provide bins for recycling all their food ware. Some less expensive soup offerings and flour less desserts would round out their menu and would probably increase their patronage. Especially now that winter's coming on. So far, they don't say that they're organic, so I'm better off making similar food at home. But it would be super sweet if Aubergine could support a CSA organic farm by sourcing their veggies through one. This would boost my patronage and up my rating to 5+ read more

This place is not cheap. I splurged the other day getting the chicken spaghetti squash bowl. I spent $16 on it minus the tip.
