This is hard to put a 3. Ive been coming here since they first opened years ago! I love their food and their menu as it's changed over time. However, it's been very frustrating their consistency. This place is not cheap. I splurged the other day getting the chicken spaghetti squash bowl. I spent $16 on it minus the tip. I've learned to only eat there in person bc when I order to-go it always looks half the size as what I get when eating there. Not sure if you can tell from this photo, but it's half full. Then I had to spend another $1.50 to add kale bc the dish only comes with spaghetti squash and chicken. The food is phenomenal. It is why I continue to come back. But the service is broken, severely broken. There hasn't been a single time ordering where the food has been relatively on time or where something has not been wrong with the order. The high school students that run the place seem to not care either way if the order is correct, and mostly just lazily Shuffle through their duties. I came here for my first time and I will NEVER be coming back. Just terrible service! I'm so unimpressed with the staff i waited 30 mins for my food then went to ask where it is and they completely forgot about my order, by that time my friend has finished their meal, then I had to go back a second time to see how long it would take Isaac said 5 minutes, then 10 minutes later I asked for a refund and the cashier Isaac just looked at me. No apology or anything. When I was about to leave they brought me my food finally but when I mentioned I got a refund they took it away from me. I go for the healthy food. Thank you for that!! Some things that bother me...it's rare to get good customer service there. Employees seem annoyed and have a bad attitude that they have to help you or answer questions. They never apologize when they screw up or forget something. I also don't like that they ask for tips at check out. It's not a server/sit-down restaurant. The prices keep going up and the portions seem to get smaller. To-go orders even smaller. They frequently forget to give a cheese roll. (The roll is my favorite.) They don't give a large enough cup of salad dressing for the meals. An extra is 1.65. The rice always has some crunchy and hard bits. Broccoli is usually still too firm. I usually dine in. My last to-go order had errors. Orem location is freezing cold year round. I can barely stand to dine in, even with a coat on. I noticed the long bench in back hadn't been wiped down for weeks. Thick dust & crumbs in back where peoples pants don't clear it. Tables don't get wiped often. As one of the only healthy restaurants in the area, they try to get away with overcharging and having bad customer service. This is the place I go when I want a pita packed to the brim with hummus, chicken and an assortment of vegetables and grains. I'm talking packed. I always need a fork because it inevitably gets too big and spills all over the place. But it's so good. And good in the way where your body doesn't hate you after the fact. This location is tucked away in a strip mall, and you'll probably have to park somewhere over by discount tires, but it only adds to the charm of the healthy Mediterranean vibe this place is putting off. Plus, it's next to a Sunflower market, so you're never too far away from a Coolhaus ice cream sandwich for dessert, which is what I recommend, even when you are far away from a Coolhaus ice cream sandwich. Anyway, I'm losing focus here. If it's your first time, try the pita with chicken and hummus and vegetables and the strawberry lemonade (it has a better name than that) and you'll see what everyone is talking about. read more

Their food definitely has a Mediterranean feel to it in my opinion and I love their acai bowls. Everything you order is fresh and tastes that way too. This was my very first time coming into this location, my first impression was a very cute aesthetic little place, that had already set the bar high for me, until I got into the line to order, I had ordered chicken bites, there was a dark skin guy in the back, I'm not sure of his name but he yelled "I don't give a fu** about these orders" I thought it was very unprofessional and very disrespectful. There was also a very tall white looking male, but he didn't know any English, he pressured us to hurry and order after we had told him repeatedly that we needed time to look since it was our first time there. He was also pressuring another worker to continue rushing us to order. We felt so uncomfortable. There was also this other girl I believe her name was Duda, she was very loud and is very disrespectful amongst her fellow coworkers, she was yelling at the poor girl making the smoothies. Not only was the service and energy horrible but the portion sizes of the food is such a scam for the price of the food. My wife and I love açaí bowls, and we'd heard good things about Aubergine so we decided to give it a try while out running some errands. We ordered the Thai Açaí bowl which has granola, banana, pineapple, and coconut flake toppings. The bowl tasted fine, nothing amazing. What was pretty annoying was how small our bowl was. We ordered the 24 oz bowl as compared to the 16 oz, and it costs $2.50 more. We got our bowl, and it was tiny! The bowl, in truth, was very large, but the layer of açaí was barely a half-inch deep and the rest was just bananas and coconut flakes on top. We noticed that everyone around with the 16 oz bowls had the same and oftentimes more açaí than we did. Maybe the restaurant is the great, but I won't be going back for an okay açaí that's tiny and costs $11.00. 4/10 won't be going back. read more

They do have a good amount of options but they are mostly similar. There aren't a ton of different options. From their options though they have a good amount of things to try! This healthy and quick little place is a new favorite. Nothing fried, lots of choices for those with specific dietary needs. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious and everything was clean and well-maintained. The helpful and polite staff explained the options and let us sample a few items. I had a perfect Mediterranean salad and my husband made a custom salad with salmon and some of his favorite things. They both came with a little hot, delicious bread (whole wheat pita or cheese bread). Yummy. $24 for both seemed a bit steep for the setting but then we couldn't possibly eat it all. So we both have half our salads left for lunch tomorrow (another good reason to get your dressing on the side).
