The food was very fresh and good. We ordered through Yelp and GrubHub for delivery. Delivery was on time, but all 4 entrees in our order had errors. The flavors were good, but 2 of us made choices based on allergies and medical conditions. We were able to piece together appropriate meals by trading between ourselves. Errors were: no dressing with the salad, no pitas with any of the orders, rice in 2 platters where we selected sweet potato, charged an extra $16 for selecting chicken in the "chicken platter". The food is good, but the order accuracy and GrubHub ordering process were awful. read more

But I wouldn't recommend the banana monkey smoothie as it was really bland and full of ice and it costs almost $7... if you plan to get something like the steak melt on pita you should eat in person instead of delivery as my husband has gotten better experience with it that way. I went here with my wife expecting a sort of hole in the wall kind of place but wow we were blown away by the food quality, taste and ambience. A sort of crowded menu board apart everything at this place screamed of healthy ingredients. Fresh juice, baked sweet potato sides and their delicious falafel. If you want tasty fulfilling and a economical dinner that also embraces vegan and gluten free options in the menu with a sort of upscale yet casual ambience like sort of the perfect marriage , then this is the place to go. Excellent food, super weird service. I was excited by how great everything smelled when I walked in with my group of five, and none of us was disappointed. But my brother had a child with him and needed to order for another member of our party who was sitting, and the woman who had taken his order kept leaving to move on to the next group without asking whether he needed anything else. He had to ask her to come back twice so he could finish placing his order. When we ordered an acai bowl sweetened with dates (an option that's specifically listed on the menu) they didn't know how to do that, and we had to offer suggestions. Hello? Weird all around. We also noticed that one of the staff members kept hollering at customers to leave, that they couldn't help them, at a few minutes after 9, "because we're closed!" Ummm...if you're closed, flip a closed sign? Lock the door? Go start cleanup work in the back? If you're standing at the counter at 9:01, it's pretty tacky to tell people you can't take their order. 4 stars for food, 2 for service. read more

Ok, so I'm going to try not to get caught up in the hype. But Aubergine is good! My wife and I had never been there before and we decided to try it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our many questions and were very polite. I'm not a help food nut, so I wasn't sure what to get so I took her suggestion. I got the Dream salad. It was delicious with apples, candied walnuts, red and green peppers, grape tomatoes and an assortment of other delicious veggies. It came with a Jalapeño creamy dressing that I can still taste. The con for freshness is the price. Unfortunately words like "organic" come with a pretty steep price tag. I didn't feel like the price was too steep, however I do feel that Aubergine has a huge change to turn the idea of eating out around. It really is a shame that you can go out and buy a pound of beef for $0.99, and a pound bag of fresh spinach for $9.99. I digress. Aubergine is one of the few restaurants, if not the only restaurant in Utah county that truly promotes healthy eating and living. Plastered on the wall in decorative vinyl is their saying, "Eat Better, Feel Different. Your health is our first priority." Upon further investigation of the menu, it is hard to disagree with them. From Mediterranean sandwiches and salads, to soups and fresh made Açai and smoothies, this place is a dream. I haven't been here enough to try the entire menu, but from my experience thus far I'll give it a solid 4 stars. The last week I have been starting my mornings off with an Açai bowl. Their Açai menu has around 9 bowls, all with various fruits and power foods topped on top of some blended Açai. It isn't the best I've ever had, but it is certainly the best in Utah county. However, it comes at a price. A small 16 oz bowl will cost you $8.95 on average. It tastes fresh, but I don't feel incredible after eating it. The interior is decorated nicely with a moderately rustic and modern decor. The lines are somewhat confusing, with these little signs trying to tell you where to go which hardly make sense in all of the commotion of the lunch hour rush. If you are looking for a spot to eat truly healthy and honestly prepared food, this is your place. Expect to spend just a little bit more than your usual lunch, but most of the time it will be worth it. read more

The chicken almond wild rice bowl was tasty, only downside that that the potatoes cubes are more like halves or quartered, they are skimpy on the spinach and out of cauliflower when I went. Delicious and nutritious! HUGE serving sizes and beautiful presentation. I ordered the Fiji green smoothie and a Brazilian acai bowl. I haven't had an acai bowl before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was scrumptious and very filling. Good green smoothies are hard to find and in glad I kept looking because the Fiji smoothie I ordered was perfectly sweet while not overpowering the greens. It was all delicious and seemed healthy and was light, without sacrificing substance. They had Brazilian cheese bread (pão de queijo) that was the most authentic I've had since living in Brazil. Came here a couple months ago. My mother and sister in law LOVED their dream salad. I'm not all that into eating super healthy, but they are. Their salad was something I feel like someone could easily make at home though, so I'd rather not pay for it. I got the rio bowl. The turmeric rice and grilled chicken were wayyy good. The beans and pico de Gallo were also really good. My issue with it was that the bowl was mostly kale. It seemed to me that they fill the bowl up with kale so that it just looks full of rice and chicken. I didn't know that when I ordered it and I don't love kale. I would not go back and pay for a bowl of kale with some rice, chicken and beans on the very top. I bet some people like it that way, but not me. If I could go and get a bowl that's actually full of everything good, I think I'd consider it. read more

Probably my favorite place to eat in Provo/Orem. The food is excellent- fresh and healthy and their gluten-free cheese rolls are seriously off the chain. Probably the best bread I've ever had. There's so many things I still want to try but you can't go wrong with their chicken pita sandwich. I'd also recommend trying their dairy free ranch dressing, cucumber/mint lemonade (sounds weird but it's good) and the sweet potato bites. Plus that chandelier! I have had their putts for lunch and they are delicious! They offer so many different options to put in the pita and the salads. Everyone should be able to find something they like. I love the salads here! You get so much food so the price to me is definitely fair. I always get the Greek Salad with Chicken. My (2) daughters and I can share one salad and we leave full and satisfied. Every salad comes with your choice of pita bread or cheesy bread (GF btw) so we always order 2 more so that we each get a Brazilian cheese bread and decent amount of salad.
