Me and my brother walked in, ordered a game day special. Absolutely amazing chicken. It was fresh, and nothing really to complain about.

The "Emoji Burger" Debrief Attempted to have a "civilized"…read morefamily dinner at Emoji Burger in Jackson Heights. Within ten minutes, it became a full-contact sport involving napkins and a high probability of a food coma. The Lineup: The Ori Emo: Pure Pat LaFrieda beef doing the heavy lifting. Classic, juicy, and gone in about four bites. Da Wink: Added applewood bacon because we aren't here to play it safe. It's "wink-at-your-trainer-while-you-skip-the-gym" good. Weary Fries: Appropriately named. Between the mozzarella, grilled corn, and double aioli, these fries are so heavy they should come with a structural engineering permit. BBQ Wings: Hand-battered, crispy, and sweet. The only thing they didn't survive was my sons. The Finish Line: We topped it off with a chocolate shake thick enough to defy physics and their famous bread pudding. That bread pudding is a rich, custard-soaked masterpiece that honestly deserves its own jersey. We're currently sitting in the car wondering if we'll ever need to eat again. 10/10 would definitely roll out of here again. Emoji Burger | 80-07 37th Ave, Queens Vibe: Deliciously messy. Status: Defeated by the Weary Fries.

I love the cute emoji concept, and the signature sauce is really good. Definitely better than the other fast-food burger places in the area.

That already put this place ahead of the game. I ordered the Double Otto Butcher Burger -- double brisket & chuck blend, bacon, Otto sauce, lettuce, tomato. Absolute beast of a burger. You can taste the beef blend, cooked perfectly, no nonsense, no shortcuts. This is how a real burger is supposed to hit. Belgian fries? Crispy, hot, flawless. No notes. Old-school atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and serious food. Our steak were cokked medium rare, perfectly. While we were having lunch, Sal the butcher came by our table and offered us a fried meatball. Its an item not in the menu, but if it was up to me, i think it should be on the menu. The meatballs was tender, juicy and well seasoned. The sides that came with the steak were good except for the baked potato, i say skip it all together. The baked potato cannot compete with the fresh cur french fries. As always great service and lunch was delicious! The mushroom and the cream of spinach were excellent, the cream of spinach had just enough cream and seasoning that it goes perfectly with the flat iron steak. Parking was difficult to find, eventually we found a free spot about 2 blocks away. I would definitely recommend the lunch special, if you can make it in for a quick hour of service.

Amid all the splendor and hedonism of the world of consumption, 7th Street Burger. I've been to many 7th Street Burger locations and this one is on the larger and more polished end of the spectrum. I'm a big fan of the jalapeño double cheeseburger, prepared (smartly) with sliced fresh jalapeños (as opposed to icky pickled jalaps). I prefer it without the sauce, but to each their own. One thing that makes 7th Street Burger so compelling in that they offer vegan burgers which taste just like the real thing. It's truly an impressive culinary feat, in addition to being a sane and sensible option both for non-meat eaters and customers simply seeking a healthier burger. I've eaten here several times but, in the interest of full disclosure, I did recently get a free meal as part of a Yelp event. Try out the new mobile app if you prefer to order ahead and earn some rewards as well. I recommend taking your order down the street to Judy & Punch where you can get a refreshing adult beverage to wash down your meal on the back patio. Summer is coming.
