I wanted to check out this 100% Halal Korean Fried Chicken spot, so we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. It's mainly a takeout or delivery kind of place. They do have plenty of indoor seating, but it's more of a fast food setup than a dine-in instead of a restaurant. The person taking our order at the front was super nice and friendly. Didn't rush us at all. It's also one of those places where you seat yourself and clean up after yourself. Foodwise, my friend and I both got combo meals, which comes with fries and a drink. I got the four wing combo and tried the Spicy Fevy's 2.0 sauce on the side. The wings were good, but the sauce wasn't really that spicy at all. Very mild. The chicken wings were delicious- crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I always go for the soy garlic sauce on k-style wings, but the staff suggested Fevy's sauce, so I got both sauces. I enjoyed both, but still prefer soy garlic. Also, both sauces on the sweeter side rather than savory. Just a note for those that prefer savory wings. The Parmesan fries were good too. Our order included two drinks, so we got the milk tea and Korean orange soda (the one with mandarin pulp inside- haven't had one of these in so long!) Portion sizes were decent and service was great. I was really excited to try Fevy's Chicken but was unfortunately left quite disappointed. I ordered the 12 boneless chicken pieces with the fevy's sauce & soy garlic sauce. When I received the order, I was surprised to see just how small the pieces were. I understand that the meat is halal which is pricier, but this was way too pricey. On top of that, it wasn't even good. It was way too dry for my liking & and not even the cloyingly, sweet sauces could save it. This spot is in such a nice neighborhood. It's close to the park that is absolutely beautiful. It's perfect for the summer, you can order a ton of things and head over to the park. We tried an array of different Korean foods. For starters, it's all halal which is such a great way to bring representation to not only the Korean community but also the Muslim community. The story of the owner is really sweet, he had lots of Muslim friends growing up and it was always a struggle to find a collective place to eat. So, when he opened his Korean restaurant, he knew he wanted it to be accessible to all. Now on to the food: - Rose Dukbokki- Cheesy, flavorful, and such a generous portion. This rice and fish cake dish was the star of the show for me. I love creamy sauces and this had exactly that. The fish cakes and rice cakes were both cooked perfectly. - Buldak Chicken- If you like spice, then this is perfect. The buldak sauce brought in the HEAT. The chicken was well cooked and the melted cheese on top added a bit of a breather from the spice. Again, portion was generous, everything can be eating family style which is my favorite way to eat. - Wings- I mean come on.. it's a fried chicken establishment, of course its going to have good fried chicken. I tried a bit of ALL the sauces, the fevy sauce is the star for sure. - Fried Chicken Cup Bap- I liked that it came with rice, salad, chicken, and egg. It was very filling and the fried chicken again was cooked to perfection. It is a bit harder to eat because the fried chicken pieces are whole chicken pieces. - Teriyaki Cup Bap- I preferred this over the fried chicken just because its easier to eat. Flavors were great, chicken was cooked properly. - Japchae- I have never had this before, I am not the biggest fan of glass noodles in general, but this dish was good. It sticks together quite a bit so eating it was hard--especially with a plastic fork.. but it was nice and sweet and gave a nice balance to my tastebuds after eating it with the buldak chicken. Went here to pick up some food for the basketball game. The guy at the cashier was nice and helped me out with recommendations. I got the honey garlic and fevy sauce wings. Both were really well done with every bite having flavor and juicy meat. I also got the fevy 2.0 chicken sandwich. Very well balanced with the coleslaw, the sandwich was also huge! The fevy 2.0 is a slightly spicier version then the original fevy sauce made with gochujang.The wings were all consistent aswell with no pieces being bigger or smaller. Wow okay so those portion sizes are pretty amazing. I tried the Fevy's sauce and the honey garlic sauce and alas found both of them way too sweet but wow the chicken itself for the chicken tender was AWESOME. Very crispy, tender, a nice thick cut of meat and each piece was pretty sizable. I knew the mac and cheese wasn't going to be special but it wasn't bad it just had me so intensely thirsty after taking a couple bites. It had flavor which was good but I wouldn't get it again and I would generally skip it if you're thinking of a side to get. The loaded tots were enormous but can't say there was much flavor to the sauce overtop. I liked how chill the vibe was and that there were plenty of tables to seat large parties. What I love so much about Fevys is that the place is halal even though the owners are non Muslim because their Muslim friend growing up didn't have much choices due to the lack of halal availability (I saw this in a food bloggers Instagram video lol). This is such a clear showcase of love and friendship I can't even begin to express it. I support this 4939483849%. Also just THANK YOU to the owners for being so thoughtful that we Muslims can finally have authentic Korean fried chicken! I really appreciate that Fevy's offers halal chicken for Muslim customers, and the quality is top-notch. You can tell the chicken is fresh from its texture and cleanliness. The fried chicken is incredibly crispy, and the buldak chicken with cheese was absolutely delicious, though be warned--it's quite spicy! The portion sizes are generous as well. The kimchi fried rice was decent, but it had a strong sesame oil flavor that might not be for everyone. The fries were a highlight--crispy and fresh. The iced tea, however, wasn't sweet enough for my taste. I also tried a sauce that was labeled as spicy, but it leaned more on the sweet side, which wasn't what I was expecting. It would be great if there was a way to sample all the sauces without having to buy each one separately. Halal Korean fried chicken place. It's a bit far from the subway but there is the bus and a small parking lot out front. Service is friendly. I thought the fried chicken was average for Korean fried chicken but they are one of the few Korean chicken places that are halal. I had the soy garlic. The sauce is homemade and not as thick as other places. I had a pool of sauce at the bottom of my container. I thought their wings had a bit too much breading and the breading was slightly overfried. I heard about this place from a friend who has her tea in this shop. So, of course, I had to go try it out. I went with the large combo, which was a 4 piece chicken (flat/drum) and 2 chicken tenders. The portions are kind of small, but the juiciness and crunch are unmatched! You can tell that the sauces are made from scratch because they have a different flavor than other kfc spots. Was excited to try this place but it didn't live up to the hype. I got small 8pc soy garlic wings ($14), truffle Parmesan fries ($10), & a grilled chicken cup bap ($15). The soy garlic sauce is sweet, like most Korean sauces. The wings were too crispy at 1st. I ordered too much food, so I only had 1 wing when I got the order. The next day, the wings were much softer since the sauce had time to seep in through the fried batter. However, the sauce was too sweet for me. Not a fan of sweet food, unless it's dessert. Anyway, the truffle Parmesan fries were decent, not great but not bad. I liked the grilled chicken cup bap the most. I got soy garlic sauce once again, since I think it's the only non-spicy sauce they have, which made the chicken too sweet again. Also, the salad on the side of the bowl contains onion & bell pepper just in case some are sensitive to those, like me. The rice is under the layer of chicken. Although they say it's non spicy, I believe the rice has some chili flakes which make it mild. This was my second time in the restaurant. Service is OK. The place is clean. But what they offer is not food, but trash, extremely unhealthy and tastes horrible. The fries were soggy and tasteless, the rice seems to have cooked without washing, it's not sticky rice but sticks and tastes like plastic. The chicken was over-fried and feels like chips. It's self-serve but then tips are mandatory? This is no Korean fried chicken. The sauce is not flavorful but similar to soy sauce. Do not recommend this place. Went in at around 10PM and got a 8 piece chicken with sauce on the side to go. Some of the things I liked about the place. They open until very late, it is hard to food at night in the neighborhood; the chicken is very crispy; the sauce was flavorful, it pairs well with the chicken; the service was fast, I only waited around five minutes. However, the place didn't quite live up to my expectations. The batter is way too thick, there are instances where the bite only has batter and no chicken. The chicken and batter weren't seasoned at all, without dipping into the sauce I can only taste the deep fried taste of the batter. The chicken was dry on the inside.Lastly, the size of chicken was also quite small. Perhaps it would be better with the sauce mixed in instead of on the side, but so far the experience is a let down. read more

Been here three times in a matter of 2 weeks (sorry arteries). The workers and owners are super nice and accommodating. Fried chicken tenders are very crispy and delicious in the soy garlic sauce. The fried thigh pieces are also crispy and juicy. The kids were disappointed by the wings and said there wasn't much meat on them. Also tried the cup bap which was yum! I appreciated the salad in the cup bap which had a bunch of different veggies (not like ur average all lettuce salad). We also tried a lot of the sides - Mac and cheese (meh), kimchi fried rice (love the bite on the rice but something is missing flavor wise), the fries (super crispy and fresh), dubokki (fine). I was very excited to try halal Korean fried chicken. This place did not disappoint. Firstly there parking available, so you don't have to park on the steeet. The employees are super accommodating and will pretty much let you sample any of their sauces. We got the combo which came with 2 choices from nuggets, tenders and wings. My only complaint about the food was that it was too oily. I felt disgusting after eating it, but throughly enjoyed the food while I was eating it lol. Definitely worth checking out! read more
