This company changed its name to LoGO , maybe loko, very unreliable, I sent my box on Nov 5, shipment in transit to the Philippines on Nov 8, box arrived at the port on Dec 15, released from customs on Dec 27, arrived in manila warehouse on Dec 28, then it arrived in tarlac pampanga warehouse on Dec 31, I was told it will take 5-8 days to deliver to Bataan, I called on January 9, I was told again it will take 3-4 days without any stupid reason, it's already January 12, no update. I guess every branch is different. I use Atlas for all my Balikbayan box needs. When someone told me about their money remittance services - and learned their exchange rate is higher than PNB (and significant-enough higher than Western Union) - I never looked back. My usual is their location in Carson/SoCal. I've done tons of transactions with them with no snags. I was due for another run and since I found myself in NorCal earlier than planned, this was the most convenient place. Vallejo has a high population of Filipinos, so it's no wonder it's right next to a few more Filipino owned businesses. Three people manning the place when I walked in - one for travel services, the other two for sending/receiving cash. They were pretty fast because the two people in line ahead of me were out and done in less than 5 minutes. I was greeted and welcomed and asked for my info. She was friendly, off the bat. I provided my phone number as well as my name but for some bizarre reason, she couldn't find my name on their system. She encouraged me to download and sign up on the AXPmobile app. I was irked at first (what for, I didn't have to do this at their Carson location) but since I had time, I did what I was told. And how glad am I that I did. Now that I have this QR code, it'll make all my future transactions with them much faster and easier. I was outta there QUICK! Great first run, glad to know they're here, not too far from home (I'm required to cross the Carquinez Bridge - no biggie!) so it's convenient enough. We use this place to send money and boxes to the Philippines. We have never had any problems with any of the remittance or packages. As long as the information you give them is correct, it's good. They also sell airline tickets (PAL and other airlines). We used them a couple times and they were helpful. The only thing with this place is they never answer their calls. This old sour lady was super rude and unpleasant, she was not clear in giving instructions and she was talking trash with her coworker in front of us. Terrible customer service. I transferred location and I tried to patronize your service coz I like your service way back then in my previous city. Your service in Vallejo branch was so hilarious! Especially the driver named Eric, who tried to pick up my box dated 9/17/2018 @ 12:00pm at San Pablo, CA wherein I was scheduled at around 1-3pm, I prepared everything and I was so happy coz it was too early to pick up. He arrived between 11:30am - 12pm and I could see him. He drove all the way at the back of the building. I kept on calling his mobile to give him instructions coz at the backdoor going in the building through stairs. Me and my baby waited him infront of the building wherein its our entrance and has elevator, but he never answered and I found out he left his phone in the car, he suppossed to have it if he's not familliar with the place if ever and obviously that's not my fault and he gave me an idiot attitude. That moron screamed and shouted to me that upon I requested for pick up we supposedly give all the details of our place? I was shocked towards his reaction. He didn't came down from their service van to talk to me the way he supposed to..It's our privacy and our location privacy you supposed to give somehow a consideration anyway the customer was trying to keep you posted but unfortunately you lack of the said customer service! The agent called and told me that he was at the back, I was carrying my baby all the way going at the back of the building to look for him despite of my baby had fever and that's what I got? I was terribly dissappointed. Instead, I cancelled the pick up. I don't wanna deal with the unprofessional person. BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!! For the first time sending this to this shipper as per recommendation of a friend. I sent 2 Macho and 2 small boxes(all sealed with packing tape) for Philippine Visayas region last March 2012. My husband and I dropped the boxes Sunday afternoon, they give discount rate when you drop off the box to there office. The lady who was there said to me that she can't put a strap on the box since the guy who supposed to be doing that is not there. She said they will put strap when he gets there on Monday. So, I trusted her since she is also Filipina. I filled the paper works and excited to send my package to my family in Philippines. When my box arrived in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental coming from Manila. My family from San Carlos City Negros Occidental informed me that they have to rent a van and pick up the boxes in Bacolod City. She is having a bad feeling if she waits longer to be delivered to their house. The lady from Bacolod City who has my package told my aunt that they don't have driver to deliver the boxes (which is supposed to be delivered door to door). When my family picked up the package in Bacolod City . One of the Macho box is already cut open and there are some missing stuff and the other small box they retaped it (of course they stole some canned goods, my husband packed it) My aunt asked what happened and the lady said it was randomly checked by "CUSTOMS". I go through with my aunt what she got and found out the items missing. Would you believe if it is randomly checked by customs the missing items are: Women's clothing, Victoria Secret perfume/cologne, bags, Oil of Olay lotion, bath soap, canned good??? If you notice most of the missing items are women's item!!!! What a BS lie. Are you kidding me, blame it to customs!!!!! Customs doesn't take that stuff.... Since 2000, I have been sending packages to my family every year. From Bahrain, Hong Kong and here in USA. I should have continue sending packages through Forex Cargo or Mon Cargo, they are a little bit expensive but its worth spending the money coz the package are all safe and secured. Around 11:30 Sunday October 14, I entered this store to inquire about their shipping costs and basic info. This lady was attending to a customer so I waited. When the customer was done this cranky employee said there is one more customer on the counter she needed to attend to so I waited. When it was my turn I asked her for a price list and she told me none but to take a photo of the one posted behind the desk, so I did. I asked her how much the boxes were and she had no people skills whatsoever, she said a price and kept quiet. Then I asked what about the other boxes etc. in other words she wasn't helpful at all in giving me information like most employees should be doing. When I asked her why wasn't she telling me the proper information that should be given a walk in customer, she gave me a nasty reply. Her voice and demeanor wasn't that of an employee showing good work and customer skills. It was like she didn't like her work. I asked if she was the owner and she said she wasn't. Now that she says she was an employee, I would like to report this cranky and nasty woman employee (Sunday October 14 around 11:30 am) who I don't think likes or values her job! If you are the owner of Atlas, I suggest you look into this employee and assign her instead at the very back and NOT deal with your customers. She was feisty and even had the nerve to tell me that she or the store had the right of customer refusal. She twisted the whole scenario by pointing to me as a culprit more than her customer skills. She said I made her feel nervous and her shrilling voice was insistent when I told her she was the one. She just had to have the last say so I just stopped. That's when she tactlessly said she had the right of customer refusal. She should be looking at herself and check at how she deals with customers. She does not even smile much less be courteous enough to be welcoming to people who enter. What she may not realize is that her salary is paid by customers like us who patronize your shipping store. Without customers, Atlas may fold and thanks to employees like this crazy woman employee who turns off people. I have never tried Atlas at all and I was only a walk in customer yesterday. But my ONE frightening experience is one for the books! I was told that my Balikbayan box ETA was on Nov 26, I called after then the Philippines delivery service did not find my address and then they will just call me back. Please update your system as it really sucks. I need my Balikbayan Box delivered. delivery date yet but the warehouse has it. Poor service both in Vallejo and the Philippines office. The box I sent thru Atlas Shippers was picked up on June 30, 2014. My sister received it on September 8, 2014. I do not know exactly the actual date it was shipped out but for it to arrive after 2 months? C'mon that's not reasonable. This is not the only problem. I had to make multiple phone calls to follow up. First, I called the SoCal office because they have everything put in the computer. Just give your invoice number and they can track it. The office in Las Vegas doesn't have that data in the computer. Everything is recorded in paper only (don't ask me why). Getting back to my story, I called the SoCal office and guess what? They couldn't track it. For some reason, the invoice is not in the computer. Reason behind- unknown. After so many phone calls trying to track the box, somebody gave me a somehow sensible explanation why. Maybe the serial no (a sticker attached to the box) with a bar code, was not scanned. Somebody missed the box and it wasn't scanned, who knows. Hmmm makes sense why it's not in the computer. They said they will call me if they find anything, of course they never call. I called them every single time. Now they tell me, "Ma'am, the Las Vegas office will call you and update you so just communicate with them." No call from Las Vegas office. I call them, they refer me back to SoCal. In short it was a case of pointing fingers and nobody was taking the responsibility of informing me what's going on. So I give up. I'll just wait word from my sister. Finally, the box arrives after what seemed like forever. Mind you, when I send a box to the Philippines, I use the entire roll of good quality clear tape. I tape it all around the top, bottom and sides. My sister even jokingly complains that she has a hard time opening. Being excited and all to see the goodies I have sent. This box was clearly an exception. She said, the box only had a few loose tape, she took no effort opening it. It looked so old and beat up and it looked like I could have maximized and used the extra space in the box for a few more items. Hah! If only the box could talk! read more

Twice we used this Shipping, twice our boxes got ripped off (few items missing) when it arrived its destination (Luzon area, Philippines). Filled a refund for airline ticket due to medical emergency, at least 50% was refunded after 5-6 mons. Not recommended, there are more shipping company that can do better. read more

I usually don't leave reviews to any establishment because I don't believe on it and I thought some are just bogus reviews or the good review is from the company itself. But I can not let go of this one. I wish review sites have options to give negative stars. We call them last week to set up a pick up for our box. They said they will pick up Sunday between 12nn-3pm, they even call us Saturday the day before to confirm the pick up. We cancel our plan just to make sure someone at home to wait for them. But one of their incompetent rep call us at 2pm on Sunday and saying that they can't pick it up and need to reschedule. Of course we will get upset. They call again later and telling us that they can reschedule for next day which is Monday between 4-6pm. I said ok that's fine. In short, I guess you all knew what happen. No one shows up for pick up and didn't even advise us that they will not pick it up anymore. ATLAS you are not the only shipping company. I wish your company goes in the drain with the rest of your incompetent employee. Worst shipping company ever. I been in Logistics Industry for over 20 yrs and never encounter international shipper worst than this company. This company promoting to turn in all boxes before 10/26 to reach the destination in the Philippines before Christmas, until now the boxes I turned in on 10/25 till hasn't been received. Christmas and New Year is over, my family still have not receive the boxes. Every time I call, they keep promising that they will prioritize my boxes to deliver, but each customer representative seems not to know the detail of my boxes. Manager here in Sonoma Blvd facility was unexperienced with the Logistical Industry. Why would you ship 4 boxes (2 macho 2 junior) into two different destination by using one invoice or tracking number only? Each destination should have its own tracking number, why this manager was insisting it's ok when I questions this process. So stupid, unexperienced, unknowledgeable manager with it comes with Logistics. If you were going to ask me if I would consider using them again? My BIG answer will be NO! I have the same problem. I sent a box on Nov. 2013 so that it will be there before christmas. Sure enough, it arrived there on Dec. 22 or 23 and the box is open and alot of missing stuff including chocolate. Can you believe that even chocolate is missing?
