Always come here for split pea soup and burgers with my boo. Love their food and service every time.

Atlantis is a cute diner. It is probably the prettiest diner I have been to. The food was decent. My ham, cheese, and egg wrap was good along with my home fries. I'm not crazy about diners but I think I will come back to this one. Staff was very nice. Prices are very good as well. read more

Time: Saturday. 10:30pm. Location: Babylon Village. Situation: Steph is Hungry. Everything was starting to close and/or the bar crowd was encroaching on all the sensible places to eat. After spending half the night at a cafe I just needed something ANYTHING that wasn't either cake or coffee to put in my mouth. I remembered Atlantis was only a few minutes away. Since they've redone this diner it looks so shiny -- like a casino! I wouldn't go as far to say it's a gamble eating there, but at the very least it was an adventure. I bit down and found a surprise in my turkey burger. It was almost like finding a surprise in a cracker jack but clearly not as fun. Ouch - part of a zip tie, presumably used to hold something together in kitchen. They claimed it was a piece of cartilage but pssh, working in IT, I've used enough zip ties in my life to know when I've chewed on one. Our waitress (Kimberly, I think? I kept calling her the pink power ranger because she was charismatic with foodie super powers), was ridiculously sweet and apologetic. She had no problems bringing a completely different dish out. I wanted some simple protein and some scrambled eggs did the trick. Light, fluffy not a tad bit greasy. Alright, that hit the spot. After they fixed their mistake all was well. Staff was extremely courteous. read more

It might be slightly unfair to rate a restaurant when you have sampled little to none of their fare, but as customer service is a part of the dining experience, a caveat to potential diners may well be merited in this case. I was witness to a situation that occurred wherein an order was prepped for pickup by one of the various delivery services that offer same, and it evidently didn't end well. . . From what I could gather, the order was incorrect, as it apparently had two salad items instead of the one the customer ostensibly ordered. The delivery person brought this to the attention of whom I took to be the hostess on duty, and she told him that the prepared order was that which was dictated to her over the phone. She mentioned that, to ensure its efficacy, she had repeated the order back to the caller, who was apparently the order relayer with the requisite delivery service. The hostess seemed from the get-go to be a bit snippy, as she wanted to have what they prepared paid for - cause if it was incorrect and the customer didn't want it, nothing could be done with it and it would ostensibly go to waste. The delivery person apparently contacted the customer twice on the phone, and explained the situation with their order. He relayed the customer's wishes to the hostess, that they wanted their order as they had placed it in the delivery service app . . . and this is where good customer service should (have) come in . . . Instead of granting the customer what they originally ordered, the hostess debated with the delivery person over the aforementioned points of cost. While it appears that the fault possibly lay with whomever called in the order, for the sake of good customer service sometimes a little legal tender might have to be sacrificed to give the customer a little TLC . . . But that was apparently not happening in this case. At some point the prepped order disappeared from the front cash-wrap, and the delivery person left with nothing. The customer must have canceled the order, and was most likely left with a negative impression of this diner, the other reviews of which appear to bear this out - both cuisine and service-wise. My impression is that the diner should have accommodated the customer, as the order was not an entree but a salad. Of all the possible orders one could make at any given restaurant, salads must certainly have the highest markup. Also, given that any dining establishment must get their food in bulk and at a lower cost than any given supermarket shopper, the amount of loss in this case was most likely in the single digits. As such, the debate between the delivery person and the hostess is somewhat inexplicable, in a cost-benefit sense alone (setting aside the customer service aspect). Conclusion: I would go back to this diner to sample their cuisine, but perhaps only that for which the reviews are positive. Should I do so, I will (as always) update this review as necessary. read more

Ordered a steak and it was $28.00 and it was just plainly said :"mediocre steak" The waiters need to more alert in their job. The interior and exterior of restuarant are great. Parking is great. Atlantis diner can improve a bit read more

Came in today for a take out order, the waitress was nice and the food came out fairly promptly. My tuna salad wrap was very good. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food was OK overall. I would go back =) read more

Went there for lunch today with my husband. We were seated and then waited at least 10 minutes before my husband went up front to ask if a waiter/waitress was going to come over or should we go someplace else? It was not busy at all. She got all nasty and said she would send someone over like she was doing us a favor. Then she said very loudly so that the whole place could hear "he's not nice". The waitress came over with an attitude. We both ordered lunch special salad dishes. We had to call her back to get us the coleslaw that came with it and then again for dressing. We've been coming here a lot lately because the food is good. The pea soup that came with it was delicious and we enjoy the salads. That being said, that hostess does not belong in a customer service job. Her answer should have been "I'm sorry sir I'll get someone right away". Never had a problem with the waiters or waitresses before this. We will go back but if she's still there with her attitude we may stop going there. 2 stars for the food and previous trips there. read more

The food and service are good but the MANAGER on-duty told me that they ONLY give discount to Police Officers (which is great) but NOT to MILITARY Personnel and ven though it is Armed Forces Day (I usually do not identify myself as one to ask for any dsct). At the end, if any discount is given, it would increase the waiter/waitress TIP. read more

Ewww the waiter was bragging about how her whole family has covid. Got pancakes and the powerhouse wrap. I was so hungry... it just had to be alright but it wasn't even alright. The powerhouse wrap tastes like premade hospital food and I could've made better pancakes myself at my house w Aunt Jemima batter. And it was still expensive. Literally cancer food. But the cappuccino was good. read more

Here's the Scoop: this a a beautiful Diner with a very friendly staff. The booth seating was very clean and comfortable. The menu was extensive it took me a minute to make a decision. As I perused the menu I couldn't help but look at the beautiful interior. The ceilings are gorgeous. Ok, let's get to the service: it was efficient and friendly at the table, a little glitch at the beginning to get a table, no one at the counter to escort us to a table. I ordered the Fajita trio: Shrimp, Chicken & Steak. It was served sizzling hot with tortillas and sauces. I loved the presentation, my eyes were delighted and my stomach couldn't wait. The first taste was just delightful and everything my stomach anticipated. The onions & peppers sautéed to perfection. The shrimp large and delicious, the steak cooked as I ordered medium and the chicken juicy. This was a great choice. "I Will Be Back!" Check them out if you're in the area. read more

Went in on Saturday. Ordered from the lunch specials menu. Place wasn't too busy, went in around two. Food was OK, waitress never came back to check if things were all right. Waiter taking care of other tables did check on his customers. Don't think we'll go there again. read more

Today it was my second time trying this fine establishment ,we ordered two orange juice two coffee and two omelettes and a fruit cup for the baby, all fruit was not ripe or too soggy out omelettes smelled so bad my wife puked on the plate as soon as it arrived , they didn't wanted to take the coffee or orange juice or fruit even thou we didn't consume any of it , would not go back I won't suggest anyone to eat there as well read more

The food isn't terrible, but it's not a great Long Island diner. I ordered a gyro, and it came with sautéed bell peppers and onions (like a fajita). On another occasion I ordered a burger and it just didn't have any flavor. I asked for a fried egg on it, and I had to send that back to get the yolk runny. Again, the food is not terrible but not what I expect from a diner. read more

Their offering of a "fresh ham sandwhich" was poorly carved pork roast. Dry with no condiments.

Good food and service. Very clean. Lots of yummy desserts 2 chose from. My only complaint is the lighting...so very very bright.

First opened up..I was in shock&awe how awesome everything was...kinda pricy but well worth it!! So nice and clean....I was just psyched. Lets fast forward to present day. I went there with our family, four of us. Our waitress couldn't be bothered. We ordered and waited and waited. She chose to talk with her fellow wait staff. We ordered dinners, we got no bread, no Cole Slaw and pickle, nothing. THEN when our food did arrive she almost threw it down on the table. My 17 year old daughter asked out loud, did we do something wrong? We didn't see her again, we needed some sauces, some refills and had to ask another waiter for these things. This is not the way to treat PAYING customers. Sad too because the food is quite good, big portions, well cooked. You should really give your wait staff some pointers on how to treat people who YOU are serving. Good fries, good onion soup, the sandwich my son ate was great.....just a waitress who thought we were there to wreck her night. AND YES I still tipped her accordingly, in other words she got a tip that she didn't deserve, but everyone has a bad day now and then. Carmine! read more

We stopped by Wednesday night 5/24/17 after 7 pm and was seated in a booth. we were sitting there for quite sometime nobody came by the table not even to take drink order. Then they sat 4 ladies after us a few booth down and the waiter proceeded to take the ladies order and still totally ignoring us after like 5 minutes we got up walked over to the male hostess and mentioned that the treatment was unacceptable and he just stood there and did nothing...would NOT recommend this Diner read more

To the OWNER: You have a good diner since the renovations but there have been a few negative experiences that I want to convey to you. I live in the area and I like that there is a clean, local diner that we can patronize. We recently stopped in there after a long ride home around midnight. I ordered the chicken gyro with salad. The tomatoes, onions and peppers that came with the pita sandwich were grilled! I have eaten 100's of gyros and never once did I have grilled veggies. The raw, crisp, freshness of the veggies with the tzastziki is the norm. The chicken gyro meat strips were probably frozen (Kronos?) and cooked without any seasoning and thus flavorless. No lamb gyro option was available - only beef or chicken. The "Greek dressing" was basically commercial (Kraft?) French with some bits of herbs and some olive oil and vinegar added. Not good at all. Tzatziki was OK, not great. No cucumber, garlic, dill or mint flavor. Just "white yogurt sauce". Make it from scratch, please. It's easy. My wife had very little meat in her omelette, too. We have had other good meals there but I hope this was just an off-night for the cook (or a newbie). Late night manager was busy sitting in a booth playing on his computer, not monitoring food Q/C, the waitstaff or the floor. I have been a restaurant manager and I would have written him up. read more

I want to give this diner a good review, but there are some problems. Overall, the food is really good, I've never ordered something that I didn't like. However, portion size varies and there is sometimes a long wait for food. One night my sister and I ordered food, then split a milkshake. Delicious! And being pregnant I wanted another the next day. So I decided to order one to go on my way to work. It was the exact same size as the one I split with my sister the night before. So now I paid $5.50 for half a shake. Disappointing. I would probably have been back again if it weren't for that which is a shame cause I really enjoyed it read more

Was our favorite diner. Family of 5 I ordered from the special..bad choice. Came with soup, salad and main entrée and dessert.. Out came soup had too many noodles for matzo ball soup, but eh its OK. Had salad ate 1\2 like I usually do. Then came entree..scrod with veggies. First bite, I had to spit it into my napkin. It tasted like the fish was soaked in ammonia. I told the waitress, she took it back, asked if i wanted something else,no I don't want anything else. Bill came, I was charged ala cart for soup and salad!!! I was stunned! Oh but then manager took off the soup. Still charging me for the salad because"I ate it".$5.95! I said I will pay bill $71.50 minus $5.95 and made sure waitress got her tip on full bill. Manager called police! Owner quickly became a bully,he is rude, and told I am never to go back! Haha I never will and either will my friends and family. So over $6.00 that manager called police about, he will lose a family of 5 averaging 50.00 3times a month! Bad business practices, I can only wonder if this has happened before... As far as Long Island diners go this is rather unimpressive. The Spanokopita or spinach pie was a large triangle that was just okay. And by okay, I mean really mediocre. You can do better on a late night run but maybe not on a Monday night on the South Shore. read more

I was an hour early for a doctor appointment next store and starved so I decided to go in with my husband for a quick breakfast. I used to come here when I was growing up, with my family because our house wasn't to far away. I noticed they redid the place (diner style gaudy of course) but very nice. It was clean and bright and I always liked the view from in here for some reason. They had a nice ginger tea and it renewed me because I was feeling a little nausea yesterday when I arrived. They have a nice, concise breakfast menu and the prices are very reasonable for a diner. The food was good- I got eggs over easy, rye toast and bacon. All was good. It did take a good 20 minutes to come out and being that we were one of three tables filled I thought that was a bit lengthy but it wasn't horrible we were talking so it was ok. Overall its a nice stop for a diner breakfast and I enjoyed it and felt way better after I left. read more

Waiting to be seated took a while, the girl at the door was completely out of it staring into space. When I went to get her attention to get seated, she had a disgusting attitude. I'm sorry but if you want to work at a fast pace restaurant GET WITH IT OR GET LOST! She believes she's entitled to being a rude staff member. So due to her childish disgusting demeanor I won't be coming back. Also I'll be informing everyone I know. Customer service is disgusting at this place. I only give it 3 stars because the servers are not friendly. They sit around and talk loudly amongst themselves. Never a smile to you as a patron. No frequent visits to table at all. The Host and hostess greet you with a smile and send you off with a pleasent good day. The food is well prepared and delicious. Portions are a nice size...usually some to take home as well. The interior is well kept and very clean. The prices seem to be a bit high for a diner yet worth the price. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I just moved to the area and this is the second and last time we will order from here. The first time I ordered a salad where the lettuce was actually hot (chicken was on the side) and was missing ingredients. The second time, I ordered whole wheat pancakes and the smell alone told me something was off and the taste matched. I don't know if the batter was expired or what but this is the last time I will be frustrated with this diner. read more

Good diner, friendly service and nice management. Food was good and the decor is attractive.

This diner gives a good name to Long Island diners. The waitstaff is young and come off as inexperienced, forgetting napkins and lapse in time checkin on us. Inside it is kept well and not grungy, this isn't a 24 hour diner and closed early (maybe because it was new years day). As for the two times I went there I was pleased with my dishes. I had a mexican wrap; the avocados were ripe and more recently the meatball parm sandwich. It was filling, the meatballs had flavor and not dry. My boyfriend had the slouvaki and wasn't impressed with the beef. For me its been 2/2. read more

This used to be the Delphi diner which I frequented while I grew up and was a favorite place to grab a late night snack. Their French onion soup comes with a nice onion ring and a very not nice HAMBURGER BUN as the bread in it, very unpleasant. Why?

I have been coming here for almost 10 years. The quality of the food is superb, only to be matched, by the quality of customer service. Harry, Oscar, and Eddie are the Three Musketeers when it comes to customer service, customer satisfaction, and galvanizing the kitchen staff and the servers. Whether it is takeout food or a sit down meal, they always listen to the needs of their customers and are "hands-on." One couldn't ask for a better dining experience! read more
