Awesome takeout food. I've tried the bacon cheeseburger, lamb gyro, Greek salad, and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious! Nothing was too greasy and I really appreciate the way they leave a hole in the box so the fries don't get soggy. Speaking of which, their fries are amazing. Solid junk food options here. Those fried mushrooms were amazing-a lot of places don't have those but they should! We split the mushrooms, fried zucchini and corn nuggets and they were all delish! Obvi not healthy by any means but perfect that occasional snack attack! I also got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich which was just subpar, I didn't taste any buffalo but the fries were great. This pains me so much to have to leave this review. My family and I have been coming here for years, and we always loved the food! We ordered for the first time in awhile tonight, and WOW has it changed. I know they were recently taken over by toxic wings, and they definitely changed everything and NOT for the better. Their burgers used to be huge, juicy, and delicious. What I got tonight was a middle school cafeteria burger. Cheap meat, plastic cheese, and burnt. Hockey puck style if you will. My dad used to love their lamb gyros. Tonight he said the pita was hard, and the meat tasted totally different. We were both so sad! Unfortunately, I think our time with Hell's Kitchen has come to an end. I wish them well though! read more

I did return for the fries. They were steak fries this time, but I don't recall that they were steak fries the first time I tried them when this review was originally written. They were good, but I wouldn't rate them as high as I did the first time I had them . . . We really liked Hell's Kitchen! The food is fresh, tasty and flavorful. There is something for everyone. I had the Greek salad with chicken, my bf had the bacon cheeseburger and fries and our friend had the chicken and lamb gyro with fries. There are a ton of options whether you want some fried goodies or something a little lighter. Everything was very tasty. The chicken was a little salty but it was well seasoned and not dry at all, hard to find with take out grilled chicken salads! The fries are steak cut style, so if you like thicker fries you will love them. Their customer service is outstanding. If you have an issue at all they are very accommodating and understanding, and are quick to resolve it. It is a tiny place, located right next to Ralph's on DPA. They recently combined with Toxic wings and Island Empanada. Unfortunately it's not as good anymore the lamb in the gyro used to be perfectly cut now not only did they cut back on how much is in it, it's super thin. They've got Jamaican beef patties. Mac & cheese bites. It's comfort food done right (even the salad!). Dessert options include churros, pies, and the most amazing chocolate cake I have ever had. Their service is quick. On my most recent order for delivery, I was quoted a 40 minute wait time, but my food came in about 20 minutes. On occasions where I place an order for pick-up, it's always ready by the quoted time. As a local take-out option for in the North Babylon / Deer Park area, this place gets a one star for restaurant ambiance. But that's fine. I was pleasantly surprised by this food! I got a chicken gyro and Marvin got a cheese hamburger as well as large fries and drinks and 2 churros all for $20. It was one of the deals that this place offers. I really enjoyed my chicken gyro, it was very fresh and the texture of the wrap was incredible. The churros were also amazing, I had one watching the sunset later that night. The service was super fast so I recommend going here if you are in a rush but also want pretty good food! read more

This place is great for a quick delivery. I ordered from them pretty frequently when I was pregnant and having cravings. It's a little hole is the wall place that I never would have thought to order from until someone recommended them. I was surprised about how good the food was. Not terrible but not the same... everything is cheap. They give barely any chicken or lamb, the pitas and tzatziki sauce aren't that good I'm overall disappointed. They need to go back to splitting up the fries from the vegetables because my fries were very soggy. My whole family is sad that our favorite gyro spot downgraded in every way. I feel as tho this place would thrive next to a bar or a club open till the wee hours in the morning when you crave that greasy, wipe away your sins of drinking comfort food. If that were the case...then five stars. We were in the mood for something fast so we got a few things. Fried chicken. A little dry and the coating too hard w a weird aftertaste. Mac and cheese. How so many people mess this up is beyond me. The noodles overlooked. The sauce gummy and no flavor whatsoever. The gyro. Not bad. Meat was just right. A little heavy on the tzatziki. Cucumber pieces to big it should be an afterthought. Fried mac n cheese. Greasy and flimsy not crunchy. Should have a ranch or version of it. Corn nuggets. To sweet almost there but lacking enough umph The loaded fries nothing spectacular And the chicken bacon ranch hero. So this place is actually hellish, so the name is quite appropriate. This place made me grumpier than usual. Everything out of the kitchen is greasy. It was like the Exxon Valdis crashed in the kitchen. Does Popey's girlfriend work there?? Yuck. The wings were mediocre at best. Not worth the effort or wait. Generic wings haphazardly coated in industrial tasting sauce and thrown into a bag. No pride, no care, no concern, period. It gets worse though. The hamburger patty was MUCH smaller than the bun. It took about four bites of a questionable roll to even get to the grade-d beef patty. Disappointing to say the least. So the food may be terrible, but the ambiance is even worse!! Chicken "gyro" was ok. The chicken was kind of dry and definitely more like thicker souvlaki. Not sure if they messed the order up or if that's their version of "gyro". Been searching for a good Greek restaurant in the area, and this one was pretty good!! I would say the portion sizes are the only reason I knocked it down a star. Every Greek place I've ever been to usually gives tons and tons of meat inside the pita, but this was enough to actually finish and have room for fries. The "large" fry was more of a small portion. But everything was very tasty!! Had the Oreo mousse cake for dessert which was amazing! Highly recommend. Customer service was really friendly, and the order was ready in no more than 5 minutes- very very fast! Would definitely be back. I recently started working up the block from this place so the ladies and I order from here regularly. I've had a cheeseburger twice from here and both times it was absolutely delicious you cannot beat the bun it comes on. So good and big. The fries are always delicious as well. The salads look delicious they may have the best caesar dressing I've ever had in my life. As a hot wing connoisseur I do have to note that the wings weren't that great. I have tried a few menu items from Hell's Kitchen. My favorite item on the menu is the lamb gyro, it is one of the best gyros I have ever had. It is so delicious and flavorful. I've been getting flyers for Hell's Kitchen but when they popped up on grubhub I had no excuse not to give it a shot. Menu appears to be typical bar food so how bad could it be? Turns out it's pretty good. I opted for pick up service on 2 gyros and it was ready in 10 minutes. Lamb was hot, tasty and came with a whole heap of fries. Will definitely try more on their menu. I was reaaaally craving a gyro & Hell's Kitchen offered them and some other pretty unique selections, so I chose to order from here for delivery. The delivery took about 40 minutes or so, which wasn't an issue for me as I live a distance away from the restaurant. I was so happy to see the meat portion on the gyro, I often times find other places can be pretty skimpy with their meat! The gyro was perfect! The meat was well seasoned, not dry. Perfect veggie to meat ratio & a good amount of sauce - yum! I was pleasantly surprised to see steak fries also. I wish they sent some salt & pepper packets because the steak fries had no salt, but they were still delicious - perfectly crisp on the outside with a nice mashed potato-y inside (haha). Because I had to meet a $12 minimum for delivery, I also ordered Spinach & Artichoke Wontons which sounded interesting to me...oh my GOD! They were sooooo good!! $5.50 for an order of six, these crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside delights were worth the money to me. First time here and food was just bad on all aspects. I ordered a 12 piece with 2 sides for my family and that's where the trouble started. First I didn't get the 12 pieces I ordered, then the pieces of chicken were very rubbery and way to chewy, it really sure what I was eating at one point. The chicken reminded me of one of those squeaky chew toys you buy your dog that looks like a drum stick, to quite franc I think I would have rather enjoyed the chew toy a lot more. The cole slaw was decent which doesn't say much and the mashed potatoes was what seemed undercooked, idk how you messed up mashed potatoes. Then I ordered a side of wings and it was lathered with sauce probably to mask the taste of the chew toy .. I mean chicken. The food was still hot when it arrived. The chicken tenders were pretty darn good. Surprised that they sold steak fries as most fast food spots don't. The fries weren't greasy and we asked for salt and pepper on the fries and they arrived just as we ordered. Delivery was about 45 minutes. That's long. Other than that, a pleasant first experience.
