Crab rangoon nachos
Stephanie D.

This food truck is a hidden gem in Alum Rock (San Jose) It takes a little while to get your food since everything is made fresh to order and it's made by the owner by himself -- worth the wait!! This is a food truck with some tables and seating right in front. The crab rangoon nachos were crispy, creamy, spicy, and loaded with sauce, jalapeños, and cilantro. The fried shrimp rolls were perfectly crunchy with the sweet dipping sauce The green thai tea was so refreshing and helps wash down all the grease Go support your local small businesses and treat yourself to these amazing crab rangoon nachos‼

It's located in the first part of the lot. When you drive in, it's on your right. I couldn't find parking near it and had to go to the back and trek along the uneven pavement with fake grass. Not a lot of tables but I can live with that. It opens at 12 pm and I got there 1:20 ish. The older gentlemen was the cook. He was very welcoming. You do have to talk aloud because there's construction going on. I ordered the pad thai. He said it will take him ten minutes. Ten minutes went by and he was jammed with a lot of doordash orders. I can wait... then I decided to get my water bottle since it took long. I wasn't in a rush or anything. By the time I came back, my food was already done. My pad thai had the right amount of spicy. Beware if you can't handle spicy food. I didn't think it was spicy but boy, I was wrong. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. It was succulent and not dried out. The chicken was diced and I just love it. I had meat, bean sprout in every bite. The pad thai was well-seasoned. I love it! This place is my go to place for thai food. I will try other dishes next time. He checked up on me and asked how the food was. I recommend this place but it's not near the restroom and the uneven pavement is a problem if you walk with a cane.

I'll be honest -- I'm not super crazy about food trucks because they're usually overpriced with small portions and mediocre quality/taste. But I'll be DAMNED, bc after trying out AT Kitchen, I will say that they've got something special going on. Amongst a party of 3, we got an order of their hot & sour beef, pad thai (with no shrimp, but they kindly doubled up on the chicken), and the crab rangoon nachos. All three dishes were FIREEE! Portions and flavors were PACKED. Also... where else can you get a good quality pad thai for $13 these days? (I don't even usually like pad thai). I can't wait till they have their crispy pad see ew. I'll definitely be back to try that, alongside their $5 thai tea! Also, note that they have two small collapsible picnic tables, which aren't the most comfy, but it does the job. They also offer chopsticks and plates upon request.

I came back because they have the viral crab rangoon nachossss!!! Actually so yummy! Make sure you eat them immediately after they come out while they are still piping hot. That is when the texture and flavors are at their best. I loved all the toppings and how everything comes together in each bite! Do not sleep on the rest of their food though. The basil fried rice is very flavorful and satisfying, the pad thai is comforting and well balanced, and the shrimp egg rolls were super good with a nice crispy texture. You can really tell they put care into what they make! What I appreciate most is how kind and hardworking they are. It feels good supporting a small family run business like this, and I am glad I came back to try more items. Definitely worth stopping by if you see their truck around. It is located in a slightly hidden food truck lot, but there are multiple vendors there and plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your food!

Not gonna line because I simply don't like to when it comes to food reviews so let me start by this , straight forward menu but exemplary delivery in showmanship , flavor and appeal / savory factor of the food was absolutely top tier. Everything is homemade and to order . I came specifically to try what looked like a explosive spin on crab Rangoon dubbed the crab Rangoon nachos they are essentially fried Rangoon wonton large triangle Style loaded with sauce sesame seeds furikaki cilantro and sauce , these and the shrimp rolls with homemade creamy chili aioli was hitting beyond belief , not to take back from the Mongolian beef and the pad Thai which the noodles and spice/ flavor were above par .i had an expectation of it being about a 8 or 7.5 but delivered with it being truly like a 9.5-10 range experience in terms of flavor profile delivery and quality of food / live imbued . Thank you again to the owner and his family for going absolutely beserk !!!!I I will be a frequent flyer here :ppp ps hours are 12-10 Tuesday - Sunday and come early for parking and enjoying the ambiance it's in a court of food trucks royale + galore

So happy we gave them a try. It was a little hard to find since it's tucked away behind the apartments, but it was worth it. They have nice outdoor seating too. We tried the shrimp rolls and crab rangoon nachos. The rolls were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The crab rangoon nachos were also really good with a sweet drizzle and sliced jalapeños on top. Can't wait to come back and try more food!

I was craving pad Thai and several places I have tried are a hit or miss, so I had my fingers crossed for this place! Boy it did not disappoint! It was the perfect amount of saucey, tangy spice! I got it with tofu and no egg this time but will be back to try it with chicken Highly recommend this place! It was also made to order, hot and very fresh. Things to note: it's a food truck inside of a food truck park-- it was one of the first food trucks in the line so not hard to find :)

Been wanting to try this place since I saw a tiktok video on the promotion of AT Kitchen. Just the one video alone got me sold. On top of that, all items were SUPER affordable and portion size was insane. I got three entrees for a party of three and we were all super full by the end of it. I like that even though it was a food truck, the food was made fresh to order. I know other food trucks have some things premade to help them but this was a 5/5 in my book! The music and vibes also remind me of what a night out in Southeast Asia would be. They have a Crispy Pad See Ew that I am excited to try so I will be coming back soon!

Pad that, thai fried rice, crab rangoon nachos

So good, flavorful, and spicy! The thai green tea and thai coffee were good and had strong flavor. We got there at 12:15pm and our order took around 25 minutes, but all of our food was piping hot when we got it! You must get the crab rangoon nachos and the thai green tea.

Food was absolutely amazing. The service is super amazing. They're the sweetest here! The truck is a bit hard to find but every single item on the menu is delicious. Their prices are more on the affordable side, especially their catering. This is now my go to spot for catering.

I came here after seeing videos about their crab Rangoon nachos on social media. It was very good and they have great prices! I'd come back to try their pad Thai. There are also many other local neighboring vendors nearby, which was a pleasant surprise.

I randomly came across this spot on Yelp while looking for new food places to try, so I decided to give it a shot. I drove over and found it in a small area with several other food trucks. My first impression was that the prices were really affordable, especially since other places usually charge around $18 for similar dishes. We ordered the pad Thai, Thai fried rice, and crab rangoon, and everything was super flavorful and delicious. I'll definitely be coming back.

Recently saw the ads and reviews about this place, so I decided to give them a try. Wasn't expecting much seeing the low prices, but damn the food is actually really good. I ordered the Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, and the Fried Shrimp Rolls. The $13 Pad Thai & Thai Fried Rice is very good (they dont skimp on the shrimp or meats) and is better than most of the popular Thai restaurants in the area (Tastes Authentic & very flavorful). The Fried Shrimp Rolls was also really tasty, they seasoned it before rolling it, which most restaurants dont do and gave it more flavor. All in all its a great spot with incredible low prices. I really enjoyed it and will definitely order again. Sorry no food pics cuz I ate it all too fast. Next time I will definitely take pics.

CHECK YOUR BILL!!. I recently dined at Elyse in San Jose and wanted to share a mixed experience…read more First, the positives -- the food was genuinely very good. The dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. The overall ambiance was also enjoyable, making it a nice spot for a dinner out. Unfortunately, the experience took a concerning turn at the end of the meal. Our bill came out to $86.42, and I handed my credit card to the waiter. Within seconds (thanks to my card alerts), I received a notification that $103.92 had been charged. When the waiter returned with the receipt, there was no mention of any discrepancy. After waiting a few minutes to see if it would be addressed, I brought it up myself. The waiter appeared flustered and then claimed he had accidentally charged me for someone else's food. That explanation didn't align with the itemized bill I was given, which made the situation feel questionable. He assured me that it would be corrected and that I should see the adjustment in a few days, which I'll be watching closely. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of transparency and the fact that it wasn't proactively disclosed is what left a bad impression. Being overcharged without explanation -- and having to catch it myself -- is not something I expect when dining out. I'd consider coming back for the food, but I'd definitely be more cautious when it comes to the bill.

Final Thoughts: 2.50/5…read more My girlies and I went here for a simple dinner and to try it out. Very Asian fusion, specifically French-Vietnamese. Seems fine-ish dining vibes with the dim lights and modern interior that they have. While the whole experience itself was quite nice, the food is not the best and perhaps should still be in the works. It leans so much on trying to be Asian fusion, but the execution isn't there yet for me. Will push the 3 star today given the overall experience we had. Food: Prime Rib Phở (NO MSG): 3.0/5 This was the entrée that we shared. They give around 3 to 5 pieces of meat, which isn't the most ideal thing to see. The meat is tender though, so that's a plus. Given the cut of it, I really wouldn't expect anything less of this though. Speaking of see though, the presentation lacks a lot for me. There wasn't too much color in the bowl. Really just broth, the noodles, and the meat placed on top. Essentially that's all it is, but there's no pop of anything to it. The flavor of the broth is quite good though. It's a lighter, but deep flavor. Will attribute this to some kind of bone meat that they used versus loading it with MSG. The noodles were overcooked and more on the soft side for me. Not much of a bite overall. Grilled Pork Spring Rolls: 1.5/5 This was really underwhelming for me. The grilled pork was nothing extravagant. Crispy eggroll wrapper roll inside was stale. Lacking in body and shape. Each of the rolls were really small and thin and lacking a lot of the filling. Usually I find that other places will overstuff it with vermicelli and vegetables because those are the more inexpensive ingredients in the roll. Here, the proportions were balanced in a sense, but lacking in size. Their sauce is what gets me. I can understand the experimentation, but I do prefer the typical sauce that is used. Perhaps doing a variation of this sauce may be better versus changing it to a completely different sauce. This sauce was a spicy kaffir lime leaf sauce and the tartness and sour flavor just overwhelmed the whole dish, so it became less appetizing for me. Belgian Fries: 3.5/5 These were honestly my favorite item here. Umm...I can't say they're anything extravagant. They were super crispy and the right size for me. Some potato without being too starchy on the inside. The sauce is a truffle aioli and that was truly the star of the show. Most of the rating will be regarding the dipping sauce. It was very rich and the flavors were very balanced. The combination of the truffle with the garlic flavor contributes really well to the dish. Honestly comparable to Cajun fries. Shrimp Mango Ceviche: 2.0/5 Fourth item was also not my favorite at all. The curing sauce was just so tart and sour that it took so much away from the dish itself. Aesthetic wise, was very underwhelming. In my opinion, this would have looked better served inside of a rounder bowl?? versus a shallow plate. The plate just makes it look half eaten given the serving size. The chips were just chips, so nothing extravagant. Balance of shrimp to vegetables appears appropriate though. --------- Quality: Fresh The food items did come out hot. The fries were crispy. They claim their pho broth takes hours to make and I can only take their word from that. Waiters and waitresses seem genuine, so I shall trust them on that. Food appears to be fresh, so no concerns here. Price: Quite steep; $$$ The prices here are quite steep. With what I was served, the prices seem to lean more on the expensive side. I can understand that some ingredients are more pretentious, but I really can't say I would pay this much for what was served. Range is around $8 to $16 for smaller dishes and $20 to $40 for the entrees. Service: Amazing; A+ The service that we were provided today was amazing. The waitress and waiters are very nice and super attentive. They checked on us a few times after all the foods came out and refilled our waters as needed. When we were deciding what foods to order, they were also really patient in going through some of the food choices with us. Ambiance: Fine dining vibes The space really isn't that big and there are really only a few tables inside. The space is big and the ceilings are high, which again, leads me to feel that this place has the fine dining vibes. Interior is quite dim lit and has this calming and warm vibe to it. Location/Parking: Downtown Area/Parking Downtown San Jose is probably all I need to say for people to understand what I mean. IFKYK kind of a deal. I can't say the location is in a bad place per se because it is around this line of other restaurants and stores. The parking is terrible though and perhaps you will find yourself paring at the parking structures for a more affordable cost or a closer one for a more expensive price. The parking lot I chose is free for the first 90 minutes and then they start charging. For one of the closest parking lots, my friend paid $20+ for her ticket.

The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. Unfortunately the laksa shrimp fried rice was disappointing in comparison. It didn't have much flavor overall - better than plain rice but definitely needed more seasoning. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. Most of the short rib slices were soft and a few were slightly chewy but overall decent quality. Some of the fattier pieces of meat were still attached to the bone.

I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

Birthday Fireworks, Family Memories & Elevated Dining at Trifecta…read more My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Trifecta this year with our children, and it turned into such a memorable evening. Our neighbors first introduced us to this family-owned gem, and one of the things that keeps us coming back is the genuinely warm and personable service. You can truly feel the care they put into both the food and the dining experience. While my son and I aren't huge seafood or sushi eaters, we can absolutely appreciate the artistry behind Trifecta's sushi. Every dish is beautifully presented, thoughtfully crafted, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients and elevated garnishes. We're just admittedly picky eaters who tend to gravitate toward our comfort favorites like chicken or beef teriyaki. The restaurant is usually packed, so reservations are definitely recommended if you don't want a long wait. Surprisingly, this visit was a little quieter than usual, which made for a nice relaxed atmosphere. My husband and daughter were interested in trying the Chef's Tasting Menu, but we learned it's designed as a full-table dining experience where everyone participates -- something we may plan for another visit. The standout dishes of the night were definitely the corn ribs and chicken karaage. The corn ribs disappeared before I could even snap a photo because everyone devoured them immediately! My family also loved the Pork Adobo Ribs special. I'll admit, Trifecta is more of a special occasion restaurant for us. The bill can climb quickly, especially with multiple sushi lovers at the table, but the quality, creativity, service, and overall experience absolutely reflect that higher-end dining experience. This isn't your average weekly sushi spot -- it's a place you go to celebrate. To top off the night, the staff surprised us with dessert decorated with sparkling light-up fireworks, which made our birthday celebration feel extra festive and thoughtful. The only downside of the evening had nothing to do with the restaurant itself -- unfortunately, a couple at a nearby table was quite loud, drunk, and disruptive. Thankfully, the incredible food and attentive staff still made the night feel special overall. Highly recommended for celebrations, date nights, and anyone looking for elevated food paired with exceptional hospitality.
