I always have excellent customer service at AT&T corporate owned stores. This is the trick to it all and that is going to a corporate owned AT&T store not an authorized retailer. The store at Valley River in Eugene, OR is hands down one the best run AT&T stores in the country with some of the most friendliest and most knowledgeable staff there is. Been going to them for over 15 years and is the reason we stay with AT&T. Good customer service is essential and you won't find better service than this location offers. Nona the assistant manager has always gone above and beyond to take care of us every time we are there even if it's behind the scenes and we don't get to see her. She is a crucial piece to why they deliver above and beyond your expectations. read more

Came to this AT&T after having a terrible experience with USCellular Walked in and was quickly greeted by Cameron who explained very thoroughly the plan we were getting into to and what we would be paying. We had originally called an made a appointment with Maria who told us to come in at 3 though didn't get there till 3:30. I wish we had continued with Cameron because we would have walked out with new phones. Immediately got bad vibes from Maria she seemed snotty and rude. She missed led us and gave me the wrong information multiple times. Very unprofessional and tried to gaslight and fight with me about the information she previously gave us and what she was the telling me. Definitely avoid Maria here but Cameron and everyone else's seemed very helpful. read more

I downloaded Yelp just to write this review. Recently, my step dad purchased an iPhone for my mom through AT&T with their buy one get one deal. My mom, having never used an iPhone, went into this store with me to transfer her old phone number and data from her previous Android. After waiting a few minutes we were greeted by a worker. The experience went as follows: After explaining the situation, the woman who was attending to us accused my mom of stealing the phone by telling her it was not "free" because she hadn't properly activated it, while also refusing to look up our policy number or name. She then proceeded to take the SIM card out of my mom's old phone and place it into the box of the iPhone and told us to "figure out how to do it at home." Confused, we began to leave the store and the woman walked past us and opened the door, essentially escorting us out of the building. I have been an iPhone user for over 5 years and it took me over an hour to figure out how to set up because we were given absolutely no instruction. According to other reviews I am not surprised because it seems like customer service isn't much of a priority here. We will not be returning to this store. read more

Terrible service from this store and especially from "manager" Kia. Not only could store not help me with my issue with AT&T, but when I voiced my disappointment in the company and my order. Kia rolled her eyes and walked away from me! I get that she could not or really would not help as she could have called customer service just as I ended having to do but her unprofessional attitude was simply unacceptable. Not sure if she was having a bad day or needs more training on how to deal with unhappy customers, but if one of my employees ever acted that way they would at least be written up and sent through more training. This plus issues I'm currently dealing with to switch my wife's plan with Verizon to my account to at&t will make me think long and hard before my next upgrade to stay with them. Everytime I come in this store, i wait forever and walk out frustrated with a higher bill. Worst customer service ever.

Liars with no customer service. I signed up with AT&T with a BOGO (buy one, get one) deal. I received two phones and was making regular payments. All very straight forward. When i signed up at this location, I asked if I have to pay off the phone for the full two years or could I pay it off early. The store representative at this time said I could pay off the phone early and it would take care of both phones. Flash forward too two weeks ago. I received multiple emails from AT&T asking if i would like to upgrade early. Me and my girlfriend (second line on the BOGO deal) went to this location to see what options we have. We were only upgrading the one phone on the line, hers. We go in to the store and another store representative assists us. We tell him what we would like to do and he gave us our options. Choices were either pay off the remaining balance of the phone or pay off a portion and trade the old phone in. She decided to pay a portion and trade her phone in. I asked by doing this will i still have a remaining balance on my phone. He said "No, paying off the phone takes care of the remaining balance" "It was buy one, get one". This store rep. told me that paying of the portion and trading in the phone would not increase my bill. Told me that the phones would be paid off and i would only be paying for the new phone, through monthly payments. First bill comes in and I am now paying two phone payments. I call the AT&T service help center, they agreed that my situation was not right and told me to go into the store for help. The store is about an hour and a half drive, but I make the trip. I had to wait for some time, no big deal. Talk with the assistant manager Alicia M., didn't know she was the asst. mgr at the time. I explain what happened and she tells me to wait for a sales rep. Wait even longer. Sales rep eventually arrives. She told me that i paid off the free phone balance and still owe on the original phone. She said they "Always" explain it that way. No, not what happened. Had i known, i wouldn't have upgraded and just waited. She continued to try and give me a run around, eventually passed this on to her manager, Alicia M. the girl who should have been helping me from the start. She apologized for the "confusion" takes my information, tells me she will get in touch with her manager and she, Alicia M., will get back in touch with me. Two weeks, no response, new bill, same payment charge, I call the store, she is on vacation now. I call the store, speak with the manager, she doesn't have any idea of whats going on. I explain the situation and she accuses me of just not understanding the Rep. Says i'm being billed correctly and they did nothing wrong. Assumes no responsibility for her employees actions. I explained to her that I asked multiple times if my bill would increase, or if i would still owe on the phone, and received the same response, No it would not increase, yes the phones would be paid off. Again lied to by her employees, yes employees plural. Because her employees do not understand their job well enough, tells a paying customer a lie, causes that customer to have to have to chase them down, and now pay double on their supposed "Deal". They have lost a customer, and many more for life. read more

I wanted to upgrade my phone and service. I was on the phone for hours without success. I drove from oakridge to eugene. Got there 15 minutes before they closed. The manager of this AT&T is new to the store because she was ripping off so many people at her last location. Do not believe anything the sales team tells you even if it's in writing! They do not honor anything the sales team says they will do for you or any of the prices they tell you when signing up. Do not shop here! read more

If I could leave a less than one star review I would. Downloaded just to leave this review. Went in to have my new iPhone set up from an Android. My husband bought me a new phone on THERE buy 1 get 1 free plan from there West 11th store. Waited in lobby for a few minutes before being greeted by an employee. After explaining that my iphone was gifted to me she proceeded to take my android and remove my SIM card. She asked if the iPhone had been activated, I explained it had its own line and I just needed to transfer my info over. She said "you can do this at home" and proceeded to ask me questions leaving me feel as if I had stolen the phone. She put my SIM card in the box and proceeded to walk to the door, where she held it open and escorted us out??!?!??!!! It took me over 2 hours to get what I needed, ON MY OWN. We pay good money to your company and to be treated like a common thief when your employee didn't even ask for my account info?! Have 4 lines with you and this is BS?? read more

I went in to the store tonight to have my phone looked at after it had been acting up all week. From the moment we walked in the store, the salesperson, Abe, behaved as poorly as I have ever seen a customer service provider behave. He was assuming, unaccommodating and completely disrespectful. Not once even after we gave him a chance to regroup and bounce back did Heid demeanor change. His total sentiment was this, "go somewhere else, I don't care, you're still stupid." SERVICE IS THE WORST!!!! Walk into the store, with only 2 people working on the floor, both busy. As I stand at the door for 20 min, no one coming out to help and NO ONE even acknowledging me standing there. Finally someone comes out, he seemed put out I needed help putting on my screen protector, which I bought there!! He didn't even clean my phone, or try to get dust bunnies off. He slipped the protector on, CROOKED! And it has dust bubbles everywhere. He didn't care and wasn't about tofix it. While this was going on another guy walks in, stood at door for well over 20 min and no one acknowledged him or came out to help. One of those 2 earlier went to the back, never came back out. I was in the parking lot trying to fix my phone, and look up to see that poor customer still standing there. The guy who helped me went to the back as well. Now 1 customer at 30 min standing there, and 1 ATT helper sitting with another customer. No other customers! No one out helping. What a joke! For the price we pay to be an ATT customer they can at least come to help! Joke! read more

I bought a brand new iPhone X right before Christmas and out of the package when I first turned it on it had a floating home button on my phone and "Connor" who sold us the phone new that it wasn't right also didn't inform me that I have 14 days to figure that if it wasn't working properly that I could take it in to the store to get a new one, but now I have to drive up to Portland to maybe get a new one. Because I got a faulty phone and he knew that it wasn't right and instead of getting a manager or asking he just rushed us out of there to try and help the next guest.. super upset with this store.. how about train your employees? They have new employees every time we go in there.. I guess it's easier to say well they no longer work here instead of fixing the problem.. why do I have to waste my time,gas,effort to go all the way up to Portland because one employee knowingly sold me a new faulty phone.. this place is ridiculous.. ps don't forget when they tell you no activation fee for 3 months it means they will charge you.. so keep an eye on that too.. what a joke of a store and as a loyal AT&T customer for over a decade this is the results I get?? read more

I had a real mess on my hands when I walked into this AT&T store. I had originally upgraded two phones with AT&T online. Upon receiving my phone's the phones did not work because the IMEI numbers were on a blacklist for being stolen, so AT&T online decided to send us two more Iphones, when I received those phones they to were on a black list as being reported stolen. Now for the life of me, I'm still trying to figure out how new phones are already reported stolen. Upon receiving my first bill I realized that AT&T had decided to charge me full price for the four phones we had sent back. It took a month dealing with the store manager Hannah Maas and assistant manager Alicia to get everything resolved. They also got me over $100 dollars credit just for some of my inconvenience. These two store Managers are the only reason I'm still an AT&T customer. They were both on the phone for hours trying to resolve this matter as well as keeping me updated throughout the entire process. They really went the extra mile to make sure I was made whole and that my bill went back to normal and that I received credit for everything I was wrongly charged. They are a great asset to AT&T and are dedicated to customer service. Many thanks to them. read more

This at&t bait and switched me a year ago. Sign a two year contract with direct tv and have a much lower cell bill. After a year the deal will end, but if you call, we will set it right back up. Lies. Raised the bill by 50.00. Been on the phone, and still am, for over an hour. No resolution. Either pay the additional 50 or pay the breach of contract. read more

Poor customer service. Came in to show them I was correctly entering my iCloud password and kept getting a error message. The guys response (Todd maybe?) was so you have a computer? They are so nice at this store! Everyone is very professional, (its night and day compared to Verizon). They were very thoughtful of our needs, and did not pressure us into getting something we did not need. The store is very clean, and updated. Happened to pop in there one day to look at the new phones. Decided to buy four of them and sign up for unlimited service. A month later, phones don't work and there are a whole plethora of problems on my account, customer service says I have to go into the store. I go into the store, long story short, they tell me the phones don't work and to figure it out with customers service. I said customer service sent me to the store, they told me that if I wanted phones to work to cancel my service and go with someone else. I said fine, go ahead and cancel, they said they were going to charge a restocking fee for the phones they sent me that don't work. I said I wasn't going to pay the restocking fee, they then yelled at me to get out of their store and then they called the police on me. At no point did I raise my voice, or ever make threatening remarks, I simply either wanted phones that work or my money back. Anyway, the employees are all poorly trained, poorly dressed and generally lack any sense of professionalism or customer service. The incompetence is staggering, and the management should all be ashamed of themselves for how poorly they are training their staff. read more

The guy that helped me was new and didn't know everything, but was good to work with and asked for help on anything he didn't know. The guy helping him gave him wrong information that resulted in hours of back and forth that wasted valuable time. Staff were rude and firm in their answers that ended up being wrong. I asked to make a simple change at the time of purchase that I was told I had to call in for. In the end I had to go back in to the store to make the change because customer service couldn't. I explained my frustration to the store manager for the purpose of learning, training and to benefit them in the long run so this wouldn't happen in the future. Her attitude was that of "Well it happened and its fixed so don't worry about it". I was hoping or more of an I'm sorry for your experience and thanks for the feedback. Customer service was not apparent here and the technical skill knowledge was lacking until the very end when somebody was finally able to help. read more
