This review is for the employee named Jordan who went out of his way to get me the phone I wanted. We make technology purchases when we visit Oregon (no sales tax). We visited this Verizon store and I wanted an iPhone 17 pro in orange. The store didn't have an orange phone in stock, but Jordan figured out how to get one from another store. I went back later in the day, and voila! There was my phone! Jordan helped with the screen/lens protector, selecting a case to show off the orangieness of the phone, and helped set the phone up. Check your records after you have been in this store. They add extra lines without your knowledge so they can get a "spiff" (commission) They do not handle promotions correctly and that free watch or pad, you are paying for it. I see Courtney C has already been noted to do such things this year and she is t he one who handled my new phone. Corporate is involved now. I have been with Verizon for 15 years and may not be within the week if this is not corrected timely. Do NOT let them rush you thru all the BS. Walking into an empty store, four employees just stared at us rather than saying hello, or anything at all. Asked a simple question about switching my daughters phone line from my mom's account to mine. They looked at me like it was a crazy question before very rudely telling me that because it could be fraud, my mom would need to be in the store in person, which would be very difficult for her. My mom was able to transfer the line to me, from home, using the Verizon app and it was very easy to do. We were treated like an inconvenience when the answer to our question was simple. How do these people even get paid it's a joke and the reason why AI will have all the jobs when there are people who would actually work hard and have integrity that are overlooked due to lack of privilege. read more

The website for this store offered appointments to "save time" but apparently the offer is meaningless. My elderly husband and I arrived for our 1 o'clock "appointment" on time only to find the two clerks were busy helping other customers. Of course we were willing to wait until they were through with these customers but after 45 minutes of waiting only one customer was done and another person who did not have an appointment took his place. Neither clerk offered any indication of when we could expect to be served. All of the chairs were taken by others waiting to be helped. We intended to buy two new phones but finally gave up and left. We will not be back. read more

I told Courtney at this location about a THOUSAND times that I did not want the Verizon care on my new phone, because I already had apple care. She tried to talk me into it over and over again, and finally when I was handing her my card she assured me that she HAD taken it off, and I would not be charged. The next day when looking at my e-receipt, come to find out she had lied to me, and I was charged. Had to call corporate and talk to two different people and didn't even receive a refund, just a credit for my bill. (That I can't even use for another two months??) Seems like they will tell you whatever you want to hear but care more about commission. beware of this. read more

I have been coming to this store for a long time and have always had great service. I have been to other Verizon stores and not had the same quality of customer service. Recently, my son's and I had to upgrade our phones, which took some time. Bryce was great!He stayed way past closing to make sure that everything was done completely and that we were satisfied with our service. Highly recommend! read more

I have successfully spent the last three years avoiding upgrading my phone purely due to the inevitable stress involved in the process. As proud as I am of this accomplishment the mental and physical torment of constantly having shards of glass embedded in my fingertips after every swipe on a broken screen prevailed and I decided to bite the bullet and get a new phone. Let me just say that the salespeople here are an absolute joy to work with and made the process of upgrading as close to enjoyable as it could be. With a great deal of support my simple mind was able to understand the process relatively quickly and I am now happily typing this review with each phalange fully intact. I've never had a salesperson not want to make a sale. He didn't want to sell me an $800 phone, but told me to get it used. If I'm buying a top of the line phone, I don't want used! Plus the initial price quote was $50 more than Verizon. Maybe it was because it was Friday afternoon. I'll never go back. read more

I went into the Go Wireless store on W. 11th in Eugene on 9/12 to buy a phone. I asked for one comparable to my ASUS zenphone. Andrew C. sold me a galaxy A01. He was boastful in an off-putting way as well as heavy-handed in his communication and demeaner. I was never told the phone had only half the storage of my zenphone. Since then, I have had more than 5 other Verizon/Go Wireless employees agree that it was a bad call on his part and very poor salesmanship. When I learned on day 26 that my new phone's storage capacity was completely full and that the capacity was a mere 16 GB, I was shocked. I had only downloaded about 3 apps and 1 game. I returned to the store to get a return on 10/11. Andrew C's only solution was that I pay off the phone in full and buy a new one! He offered no other solution and was defensive and argumentative. He was rude and never apologized. I came back the following day to speak with the manager, Samantha. She told me I had to go to the corporate store in VRC if I wanted to return the phone, because she was unable to do so after the 14-day return policy. I went directly to the VRC store. 3 employees there immediately were confused and dismayed that she sent me there, because they do not have access to Go Wireless records nor use the same software program, and so were unable to help. They tried their best and got through to someone higher up in Go Wireless. This person, named Matt, sent an escalation form to the W 11th store, stating that it was their obligation to resolve the issue within 3 business days. Nobody ever contacted me within that time, so I spoke with Matt again over the phone. He increased the level of the escalation form and sent one to the district manager named Jason, who then had the responsibility to resolve the issue within 3 business days. Again, nobody contacted me. In the meantime, since it was taking so long, I had to buy a new phone from the VRC store, because I had important travel plans that required apps being downloaded. After my trip, I was directed by the Verizon Customer Service phone line to go back to the W 11th store and return the phone in its original box and get a receipt. They would then reimburse me electronically. I went into the W 11th store on 10/27 and had the worst customer service experience in all my life. Andrew C started off by saying very loudly that he would not return the phone under any conditions, period. He ended up having to return the phone despite his proclamation. His behavior was extremely unprofessional. He was rude, hostile, combative, demanding, and so openly bullying that it bordered on verbal abuse. I could not believe me eyes and ears! I have never heard of an employee acting so egregiously! He literally said "Goodbye" and "Leave" several times while I was trying to say something, while gesturing at me like a stray dog and rolling his eyes. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior in a customer-service position. The manager, Samantha, witnessed it all and did not say or do a single thing to stop his abuse. I will never ever go back to that store, and for your sake, I recommend you don't either. I would hate for someone to be treated the way I was just for trying to take care of business! ALWAYS go to a CORPORATE location (VRC or Coburg Rd) where they understand what customer service is! read more

The salesmen at this shop should be working in used car sales. During the whole process of buying a new phone, they continually lied about everything. They were deceptive and defrauded me at every opportunity. Had I accepted their final charges, my $1000 phone would have cost me around $1600 for accessories and services added without my knowledge or agreement. I have purchased many cell phones, pads, and computers and this was the worst experience I have ever had. One of the salesmen is a total lying sleaze bag. If you want Verizon, go to a Verizon corporate store. If you want Apple phones or pads, go to an Apple store where the sales team do not work for commissions. I have met Go Wireless employees that are caring and honest, but they don't work at Eugene's West 11th store. read more
