My very picky sister and her very picky vegetarian friend went to this restaurant last week. They gave excellent reviews of the vegetarian, California, and tuna rolls; they really enjoyed the General Tso's chicken and Chinese Vegetarian chow fun as well. Finally tried it last night with my family. We love it. Very good food with decent price and nice environment. My picky kids like the food and appetizer too. It is fresh, flavored and not that greasy, not like other Chinese restaurants. I tried the General Tso's chicken and the spicy dim sum, it was the best I have ever have compare to any other Chinese restaurant. The spicy dim sum has shrimp in it, tasty and crispy. My husband ordered a spicy tuna roll and a Special Sushi roll called Spider roll and sashimi comb. The fish quality and freshness was great. The sashimi was particularly good, the fish slice was huge. I was of the mayonnaise variety, which we don't prefer, but the spicy tuna roll had very little mayo in it and was spicy enough to balance it out. They also serve wine and beers, we tried a small bottle of Japanese plum wine, and it was good. The interior is decent and impressive. Perfect place for a family dining. I would recommend to anyone who loves the Chinese food and Sushi. read more

Great Kung Pao Shrimp, and quite decent Hot and Sour Soup. Great sushi too, making thjs a nice combo option. There are so many Chinese places in Northern VA. Most of them are mediocre at best, nothing original, nothing exciting. Asian Spice is a cut above those places, making it a go-to place when the cravings say "Chinese" and you are near Brambleton. Great for take out (portions seem larger) and very nice atmosphere (again, a cut above the rest) for eating in. Wild flaming wok-work in the kitchen, you've got to watch it to believe it! I can't believe I waited this long to write about this restaurant. Asian Spice Cafe has long been a favorite of mine. I've been coming here regularly for the past one and half years. The food here is ALWAYS great and the prices are good. My favorites: General Tso's Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Kung Pao Chicken and the Chicken Lettuce Wraps appetizer. The Sushi is also quite good. The quality of the fish was great...it was fresh and flavorful. There are many good vegetarian food on the menu and you can order brown rice to make your meal a healthy one. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Ashburn/Leesburg area. read more

To drink, my husband ordered a Kirin Light beer while I ordered a glass of plum wine. Some Japanese places fill the glass too high, but here, the portion size was reasonable. I ordered "the poke bowl". I chose salmon for my fish. This bowl consists of "Sushi-grade fish topped with vegetables, mixed with poke sauce over a choice of mixed greens or rice". I chose the rice. Before coming here, I looked up "poke sauce." I found a website called "pokebowlny.com." This is the description they gave: "traditional poke sauce blends soy sauce, sesame oil, and often rice vinegar, along with aromatics like garlic and ginger. This classic combination makes the fish taste fresher, the vegetables more vibrant, and the rice more flavorful." The vegetables in the bowl were kernel corn, seaweed salad, and cucumbers. I really enjoyed having this meal! All the flavors worked well together. I look forward to having it again. Along with the poke bowl, a bowl of miso soup is included. That, too, was quite good, and it came to the table quite warm. My husband ordered "Tuna Don," which consists of "fresh tuna sashimi over rice & vegetables. His entrée came with both miso soup and a small side salad. The bowl had a big slice of radish, some seaweed salad, and the usual shredded daikon.
