It's very expensive for what it is, but it's decent. The food is pretty bland and surprisingly stale, even when you get there right after it's cooked. I believe we were charged $25 per person, plus tip on top of that. We came on the weekend, so there was seafood on offer - issue is, I don't eat seafood at buffets, for safety reasons, so I was really being up charged without benefit, which sucks. read more

Stopped in for lunch- some good choices as can be seen on my plates. The hot & sour soup is just right, mushrooms included. The orange chicken was ok, even though the name label said it was General Tso's. The cream cheese purses are excellent! A good variety of sushi, of which they do a good job (although perhaps missing a few?) of labeling what type of sushi it is - of raw or not. For the price, definitely a good place to eat & I will be a regular. I appreciate the $1 discount for seniors The remodeling they did for their restaurant is great, as this used to be an Izzy's. The food is pretty generic. They do not have an Asian person cooking it so the flavor is not very good and quite a few dishes and it's not crisp to the specifications of a typical Chinese restaurant or Japanese restaurant. The green beans are always overcooked and the general S. chicken is breaded weird the Mongolian beef is chewy beef and not the proper flavor. The hot and sour soup is not very flavorful either and the ingredients are too big. There are a lot of carbohydrates here and not enough vegetables, dishes, beef or seafood. Honestly, if they would hire a proper cooks, this place could be a 3 1/2 4 Star Pl. as of right now it's only a two star. The other problem is one of the Asian waitresses rushes. You out the door after you have two plates even if there's not very much food put on them she brings you, your Bill, which I think is rude. So that is offsetting in my opinion it doesn't make you feel welcome or want to go back often when you're being rushed out the door. read more

All the hot food was cold. Best part of the meal was the soda. If the waitresses were speaking English people would have been more upset but since speaking some Asian language yelling across the room in conversation over the tables seemed OK. I know exactly what I look for in a good buffet, but did "Asian Buffet" live up to that? Let's talk about the food quality. My expectation is, that it's about as good as any other similar restaurant. I personally did not feel it was up to those standards, especially considering the price and variety. Some food was, most wasn't. But there's a decent variety, so you may load up on the one thing you LOVE, and be satisfied. It wasn't cheap, but I figured that'd be because there was a decent variety of food options, and that they'd be high quality. Plus their pricing isn't clear cut, which could be forgiven for higher quality food. I personally felt the atmosphere was a slight bit above an average buffet. But considering Izzy's used to be in this building, which is hands-down the best buffet I've ever encountered, this still wasn't quite up to those standards. It's also very clean, which is really shocking considering the amount of people, and ranging varieties from families, to just a single person. I actually didn't mind most of the employees, they were kind and polite. They don't need to provide too much service, so it's really not hard to satisfy. But I will say, the person that was at the front table, was a bit flustered and out of his comfort zone. He was trying his best, and ultimately fell short. I also felt the food was being "re-stocked" fast enough. I can't determine whether the cooks, or the servers, are responsible. Let's say they both are, and they succeeded. Oh, and right now this location is very busy. Hard to move around, and may be a long wait time. Especially the small entrance. Overall, none of the employees are rude. Their food isn't bad, just not quite worth the slightly more expensive cost. It's about the same ambiance as any Golden Corral you may find yourself at. If this is your thing, great. Is it food? Yes. Can you eat enough to be full? Yes. Is this place a good location for either? I don't think so. Service was attentive but cold, which is fine at a buffet I suppose. The place was clean, which was impressive. The food was regrettable. Many of the dishes that should be hot were somehow at or below room temperature, which was particularly alarming for the fish dishes. Some dishes were labeled "spicy", but even those had very little flavor. Several dishes were rather chewy. I got the impression that I was eating yesterday's leftovers. Went here with mom and wife and son. Food was not replenished and was lukewarm. Mediocre at best. No typical items like sweet and sour chicken/pork or beef broccoli or kung pao. $90 for 2 adults, a 5 yr old, and a senior. Chicken with broccoli and crab puffs were the best things I found. read more

we have dined here a few times now. Overall it is very clean and good experience. The staff is polite, but could be more attentive. The food is Ok, lacks a little of the traditional flavors and spice level. The sushi was good and flavorful. I have even gone the take out route, really nice to pick what I what and take it home when I am in a pinch. But.. the take out containers they use are sturdy, microwave well but are slightly heavy. almost 3 oz empty. at .50 an once, 1.50 for just each container you use, since I get one for hot and one for sushi, it gets a little more expensive for take out. read more

Went to dinner Sunday evening for the seafood buffet 7:30 pm. Most of the trays were half full and drying out. The crab and steamed shrimp trays were empty. Cost of $21.95 per person. While we were there, they never restocked anything. I was told they were cleaning the kitchen? They are open until 9:30 pm. Most places clean the kitchen after closing? We paid for what was crab and shrimp without receiving it RIP OFF. I do not recommend this buffet. Stated I would never return. read more

So disappointed. The sushi was poorly made, the food was occasionally mediocre at best, service was spotty. Some of the desserts were okay but it certainly wasn't worth what you pay for. My wife and I enjoyed eating at the Asian Buffet twice and both times food wash great. I would highly recommend this eating establishment. The food was hot and changed as soon as one item was low. Ate there twice for dinner and loved it. Took two of my cousins at 4:00 pm and a Tuesday and our dinners were horrible. Most of the food was lukewarm and so was the food in the sushi bar. The food is very tasty and fresh. The service is fast and friendly. The location and interior are very pleasing and good ambiance. There's a lot of variety of food that you can find to an Asian buffet. The seafood is scrumptious and savory. The only food that may need to cook longer is the beef ribs, it's too chewy. Drove over 20 miles to take my wife to lunch and not impressed with this place. However, perhaps they had an off day so I would not to pass on this place if your in the area. The good... place looked extremely clean & organised, workers were polite & friendly. The buffet line had the standard presentations which looked ok. The green beans looked old but they replaced while we were there, the snapper was not hot enough temperature wise but done well, the hibachi chicken needed to be browned, and the broccoli was soggy. The food wasn't good to me. A lot of the vegetable dishes lacked flavor, and the "scallops" aren't real scallops. The sushi was fake seafood. Most of the meat dishes are overly breaded chicken. The sushi could have been better honestly but for a buffet it was not bad. They did have 3 flavor of ice cream cups to choose from. My boys gave it 5 stars. I went with my husband for lunch. Everything was going well until I watched 2 gentlemen getting their food. Then they both put the utensils down and lick their fingers and then go pick up another utensil. Then my husband saw something and shook his head. I asked what was wrong. He said he'd tell me when we went outside. Then I turn around to go get my dessert when I noticed one of the staff members picking their nose. They won't correct it with out give u a nasty look. They need to let ppl know that they are switching from lunch to dinner, not have any surprises. They have a large variety of foods, brought out in small enough batches as to keep things fresh. We were there on Thursday and only waited 5 min to be seated. Plenty of clean plates, used plates were cleared quickly. Staff was polite. Decor is tastefully done and all new. Pleasant experience all around. Will be going back soon. Everything tasted like paste. I don't think anything is actually cooked there. I'm pretty sure it comes premade in bags and thrown in the buffet.
