I was really nervous about the whole thing since it involved packing my things at my house, shipping it overseas, and delivering it door-to-door in California. However, they made the whole process really seamless and were really friendly and patient with me the entire time. They were super responsive via text and email, which was helpful, and they packed my stuff SUPER fast and were out of my place in no time. Shay and crew were excellent in moving my 700 - 800 lbs. entertainment center. It was a two piece unit and Shay demonstrated precise, strategic planning to move the pieces without scarring my wood floors. All persons arrived with facemasks and were courteous, helpful, & kind. I needed to move abruptly. I reached out to this female owned and operated company. I had a walk through the same day I called. We set up for my move and when the movers showed up on time. They were efficient, careful and asked questions about how I wanted things packed and moved. This was a 11 hour move. I was very impressed with the care taken by this company as a whole. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible company. Terrible business model. I paid upfront for 3 professionals for a few hours. 3 kids showed up to move our stuff 5 miles away. Not only were they slow, they were unprofessional, made inappropriate comments through out the day as they were young. They were very slow, took their time and ran out of time. this caused me to pay for 4 additional hours. I paid over $2000 for them to move 5 pieces of furniture upstairs. The rest was left in the garage since they took so long. After the surprise $1300 overage charge, I still had to make 6 additional trips to finish the move. MOVING SUCKS, especially across the ocean- but ASAP movers made the entire process so easy and efficient! My career is in corporate business management so I am typically disappointed by customer service, especially in Hawaii where businesses can be too casual. NOT THE CASE with ASAP movers. From the first phone call to the final piece of furniture moving, this crew was ON TIME(early actually!!), professional, efficient, respectful and kind. They do not waste your time or money and they take care of your belongings with precision and respect. Shay is one of the owners and she is DETAIL ORIENTED and knows how to wrap and pack! Not only that, but she treated her employees with respect and managed the process with ease. She anticipated needs and communicated efficiently to ensure my items were loaded and transported with care. This company follows through with what they promise. On the set-up side when I was making appointments, the coordinator took care of all of my questions and when she said she'd call me back with answers...she did! I'll start with the good first. They were extremely last minute as my usual moving company was too busy and I was set to deploy so I went with them. They were kind, professional, and flexible with me when I moved dates on them from New Year's Eve to the following Tuesday due to my buildings policies. Movers were cool and phone calls were easy. Now the part I'm irritated with. I had less things this time, and moving my stuff same distance, more things, cost me $570 with said company I couldn't get. I paid a $600 deposit for 2 hours, supplies etc. I was good with that. Every additional hour was $230. Again, with the amount of stuff I had, it should only take 2 hours maybe 3 if we are pushing it. It took over 5 hours for a 1 bedroom, minimum furniture apartment and I paid and additional $764. There is NO way I should have paid almost $1500 for a 1 bedroom move that was 9 min away no traffic. read more

Friendly, professional, and I was able to schedule them for the next day. I was moving my old sofa from my house to a friend's house and needed to do it before my new sofa was delivered. ASAP was able to accommodate my schedule, no problem. They even helped move my friend's old sofa out of her house and waited patiently for her to vacuum the area. Great job! I can't say enough great things about ASAP Movers 808 and Ally, in particular! Through our long and complicated move to Hawaii, Ally was our contact. Her communication was fantastic so we always felt we knew how everything was going. Because of the trucker's strike and slow down, we had some issues finding a truck driver for our large moving container. Ally made a lot of phone calls to find someone who could drive the container to our house, wait for our live load, and then drive it to a port for shipping before we were scheduled to leave for Hawaii. She came through as she hoped to and kept us informed not only of possible cost changes but also time frames. We couldn't be happier to have worked with Ally. She is an excellent communicator and follows through. She is friendly, honest and also has integrity which is hard to come by in many of the moving companies out there. We had to arrange a move based on uncertain dates and not only was ASAP Movers able to accommodate a pickup and shipment from Oahu to the mainland faster than any other company we contacted, but at very reasonable prices. Moreover, the response time of the owners and their professionalism were outstanding. No matter what the question or concern, they were on it - it really put our minds at ease. So much so, that when we ran into unexpected delivery issues getting carriers from the dock in California for the final leg to Utah, it became clear that it was as upsetting to the business as it was to us. The owner Ally did her best to make it up to us and continued close communication until the issue was resolved. From the communication, to the other owner and her assistant who helped pack my kids' things up, to photos along the way, I have never experienced better customer service and I would certainly use them again without hesitation.
