Nice tea / boba spot that opened recently in LIC, queens. Cute takeout cup holders and a good variety of drinks. Appreciated how it's one of those spots you can order straight from a kiosk. Limited seating so it does get crowded while waiting for your order at times. We got the matcha mochi drink & the mango passion fruit drink. They are a little bit on the pricier end around $9 per drink, that's the only downside in my opinion. I'd like to see this spot open more locations, especially in Manhattan.

This spot took over where Moge Tea was. I got a lyche watermelon slush with no sugar. It was yummy and super fresh. 0% sugar was also good, because it was plenty sweet on its own from the fruit. Will try the passionfruit tea next!

4.5 Stars. A few people in the "Eat Something New in Queens" FB group raved about the drinks at Arteasan (or is it Artisan on the cups?). One conveniently in LIC near the Queens Plaza & Queensborough Plaza stops. After much decision paralysis scrolling through the menu...seasonal orange blossom foam, mochi teas, mashed chesnut, slushie with strawberry, mango, or durian!! I wanted to see how their basic Jasmine tea tasted. Chose the ($8.17 total, no tip) Mochi Milk Tea. "Drinkable mochi" seems like it's trending right now. I chose the Jasmine green tea option instead of the Oolong, and while I'm here! The Mochi + Taro combination (no extra charge), less ice, 70% sugar. I wasn't too long of a wait (3-5 minutes)- even though there was a steady stream of on-person, pick-up & delivery orders. The drink was big - taller than I expected (& came with a fun sleeve with a character on it). It was good, tastes high quality ingredients (medium/strong floral Jasmine flavor, bits of teeny taro cubes). I wasn't sure how to drink the mochi - didn't want to choke. I stabbed it a little & finally got some. It's a very thick marshmallow consistency. Really interesting & kind of a meal in itself. It was nice having the different taro & mochi textures together. The drink came in a paper cup (while others' orders were cold fruit teas in clear cups). I would have liked to see what I was drinking & sip from each part of the drink. Maybe the milk jasmine tea isn't that pretty. My main complaint with these layered tea drinks is that each part tastes good & is interesting, but once you mix everything together or stir around to get to find the mochi/boba; the drink starts tasting like the strongest ingredient. It's probably always impossible to taste the delicate Jasmine flavor halfway through (or are you sipping the flavored syrup at the bottom of the cup first?) Halfway through, your mouth & the drinks gets cold anyway so it's hard to taste the flavors. BUT that's fine, I'm always easily influenced & supporting small business. The shop is very small with 2 tables & a waiting area that doesn't fit probably more than 8-10 standing people. It's more of a to-go shop. The decor is industrial modern & fits the neighborhood's history, cute characters & staff sweatshirts too. There's a lot of staff working on the drinks in the open kitchen, which take up most of the shop; but I didn't feel like anyone was happy or maybe they were tired. When I first walked in (11:30am) the atmosphere seemed off & silent (even though there was music on). Other than that, I'd recommend Arteassan & it's unique menu. IDK if you can get me to try durian though...

Got their strawberry mochi drink and it was really good! I forgot to adjust the sugar level but I was happy that it came out not too sweet. There were a lot of strawberry chucks in the drink and the mochi gave the drink really interesting texture! There were quite a lot of people waiting in the store when I went and it felt a little chaotic. It would've been nice if there was a screen showing what order was ready. Can't wait to come back to try their durian drinks!

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

Let me tell you why this coffee shop stands above the rest:…read more 1. They use quality beans. I'm a home barista and use Oslo's beans for my americanos. When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

Unfortunately, it was totally bland and not large at all. The side sauce added nothing and over 30$ with tax/tip. For entrees, we shared the lobster pasta and the guazzetto di Pesci. The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.

They did bring out complimentary bread, which was appreciated, though it felt like something that should be standard rather than a highlight. One item someone in our group wanted -- the octopus burger -- was unfortunately unavailable, which was disappointing, especially given that it was brunch and still relatively early in the day. That said, the dishes we did order were good and well prepared. The space itself is nice: the front functions as a cute coffee shop, while the back has tables for sit-down dining. Because of that setup, the vibe feels more casual, but the menu offers solid options. Overall, it was a good experience, just not a great one -- a decent brunch spot, but nothing that blew us away.
