What a gem in the heart of LIC. Not only do you have a clash of Japanese to Italian cuisine on the…read moresame block, but you can also end the experience with some of the most delicious desserts anywhere. This location is always packed during busy hours, so plan ahead if you are trying to secure seating! This particular location is very cozy and warm, so a date night here is perfect. The menu is quite extensive, but the clear choice here are the mango options. Both the mango drinks and desserts are super fresh, as it is evident that the mangos are sliced to order. Personally, my favorite is an Asian classic, the Mango Coconut Sticky Rice with Ice Cream. It is also good with sago if you do not prefer the rice. The staff is friendly, and they will help you with deciding on your order, so do not stress if you take too long. I am glad to see the diverse accommodations here in LIC and even more glad that it is a Mango Mango that exists here.

The staff were super friendly and provided recommendations. I had to have the mango coconut sticky rice with ice cream. This was so amazing, I could have another one. The mango strawberry smoothie-o was full of yummy slushyness. My least favorite was the crème brûlée earl grey cheesecake. I wanted to try this since it was new in the menu. I thought it was ok, I would have preferred to try another mango dessert like the mango mousse cake or the mango mille crepe cake. I would also love to try the coconut mango smoothie-o on my next visit. I can't wait to go back. My new favorite dessert spot!

The staff was very rude and basically said "what do you want?". Asked her a question about what something on the menu was and instead of answering it, she just said "don't matter. No more". Food: got some dessert thing (Joyful treat bowl) that sounded really good but was a whole big glob of mess and did not taste good. Drink: got a watermelon jasmine tea that was basically filled with watermelon pulp Definitely would not be returning!

Master Panda, thanks for participating in the Yelp Lunar New year Boba Crawl and being the first…read moreand last stop. The jasmine milk tea I sampled in the store first was a bit high in the milk to tea ratio, though I appreciated the chance to try this. The oolong tea flavor (can't recall if it was a citrus or passionfruit flavor) at the end was good--refreshing and light. The bubbles were a little on the sweeter side, with decent chewiness. I purchased a plum Americano first time and it was an innovative take on Asian flavors mixed with coffee. The fusion of traditional tart plum "soup" with coffee worked in an herbally way, kinda like a kombucha coffee. Based on this I think some of the other coffee items with citrus may be good to try here. The following comments are in the spirit of constructive feedback so I hope this will help you guys! I read online that the focus of the store is to provide fresh milk with their teas, specifically regular dairy milk. Though I think this is a stronger selling point probably in Asia, the interesting fact is that a fair number of people are lactose intolerant, (or will become so later in life). And with the trend away from cow's milk to more plant-based milks, I think it's a miss not to offer milk substitutes. The second point to work on is consistency in the menu, I'm not sure why the menu placed by the ordering counter contains a few different items than the menu on the screen on the wall, which is also slightly different from the menu shown in the digital kiosks (I didn't order from the kiosk but took a look at it). Maybe it's because this store is still tweaking the menu, though in this case it would be helpful to explain to customers. Yesterday I came by to redeem a coupon for a free drink, it was a generous offer and thanks for giving me another opportunity to try a drink! Choosing the Jasmine coconut tea with water chestnut bubbles, the flavor combo sounded interesting though didn't mesh that successfully in reality. The water chestnut bubbles provided a pop and little crunch which was unlike anything I've had before, with a light, almost imperceptible sweetness. Overall I felt the staff was kind--thanks for the rose with the drink and the panda takeaway bag during the initial boba crawl!

Although a pro tip is to firstly order from the app (for the discounts and rewards) and then if there IS a wait, just walk a block over and kill sometime in the LIC food hall (maybe grab a snack to go with your tea drink). You could also hit up naisnow and get egg tarts (my personal fave egg tarts in the city right now) and have a little food crawl of sorts. HeyTea is delicious and always pumping out drinks no matter the time of day at this location. It's a small space and there's a relatively big team handling all the orders that keep coming in but they have always been patient and despite being busy never been too frazzled to help me out.

We showed up and ended up waiting a bit, only to realize (too late) that we could've ordered online ahead of time. Pro tip: save yourself the wait and order in advance! That said, they do have a kiosk inside, which helps move things along once you're there. The bubble tea itself was pretty good -- fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The boba had a good chew, and the sweetness level was on point. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but definitely solid and worth coming back for. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood. Just plan ahead if you don't love waiting in tight spaces!

They also have an ice cream shop here (Taku Parlour) that is available (but unfortunately, sold out when we went). We got their soy garlic wings and their ramen. Their wings were good but a lot of the pieces were really small. And, although the pork chashu in the ramen (I got their wantan men) was super soft and tender, I felt that the ramen was way too salty for me. Moreover, it doesn't come with an egg and if you do decide to get an egg add-on for $3, it comes in an egg cup and hard-boiled (as opposed to in the ramen and jammy/soft-boiled). Overall, I thought it was an alright spot, a bit pricer, and I'm not sure I would come back for their food.

Service was odd, the server did not come check on us and when we needed something we just went to the ordering station. Please note, when we went it was pretty much empty, so it was not busy at all. As mentioned not sure how it supposed to work here, but we did get our food fairly quick. The place is cute, lots of plants, looks like a very big space, believe it used to be a garage. Overall food was filling, able to share if needed, give it a try. Its definitely a nice addition to LIC.

After walking past it a million times in Flushing, we decided it was time to try it for the first time. We opted for a large Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Latte ($7.50). The boba came warm and was definitely on the softer side. Not sure if this is how Yi Fang normally rolls or if I just got lucky with fresh boba straight out of the pot, but hey, it was pretty tasty! The matcha, on the other hand, was a little less exciting. It could've used a good whisking. It wasn't terrible, but it was definitely somewhat powdery. I've had worse, so I won't hold it against them. Overall, if you're in the mood for a warm boba surprise and some solid drinks, Yi Fang is worth a shot. I'll rate this a 4 stars out of 5.

It hit the spot on a very hot summer day and having the option for non-dairy milk is still a win. It's definitely a grab and go shop. No real area to sit.
