    Assam milk tea

I tried the Assam boba milk tea here and I was not impressed. I got 80% sugar because most bubble teas I get are usually sweet. This one at 80% felt watered down and not sweet as all. The boba was kinda sticky too. I will come back for the brown sugar milk tea which they won an award for that one and maybe it will be better.

Located inside the new LIC food hall, this tea shop offers a variety of milk and fruit teas. I ordered at a kiosk here, and service is quick. I got the passionfruit green tea and absolutely loved it. Would come back to try their other drinks.

Yummy teas!! It's located inside a new food court in LIC that just opened. There's more seating downstairs but it was super crowded so I couldn't find a seat. I loved the strawberry mango slushie! So refreshing and yummy.

Really wanted to go here after I saw a post on Instagram...but was highly disappointed. Not sure if…read morethey were doing renovations or Instagram over glamorized it because it really sucked. The staff was very rude and basically said "what do you want?". Asked her a question about what something on the menu was and instead of answering it, she just said "don't matter. No more". Food: got some dessert thing (Joyful treat bowl) that sounded really good but was a whole big glob of mess and did not taste good. Drink: got a watermelon jasmine tea that was basically filled with watermelon pulp Definitely would not be returning!

Master Panda, thanks for participating in the Yelp Lunar New year Boba Crawl and being the first…read moreand last stop. The jasmine milk tea I sampled in the store first was a bit high in the milk to tea ratio, though I appreciated the chance to try this. The oolong tea flavor (can't recall if it was a citrus or passionfruit flavor) at the end was good--refreshing and light. The bubbles were a little on the sweeter side, with decent chewiness. I purchased a plum Americano first time and it was an innovative take on Asian flavors mixed with coffee. The fusion of traditional tart plum "soup" with coffee worked in an herbally way, kinda like a kombucha coffee. Based on this I think some of the other coffee items with citrus may be good to try here. The following comments are in the spirit of constructive feedback so I hope this will help you guys! I read online that the focus of the store is to provide fresh milk with their teas, specifically regular dairy milk. Though I think this is a stronger selling point probably in Asia, the interesting fact is that a fair number of people are lactose intolerant, (or will become so later in life). And with the trend away from cow's milk to more plant-based milks, I think it's a miss not to offer milk substitutes. The second point to work on is consistency in the menu, I'm not sure why the menu placed by the ordering counter contains a few different items than the menu on the screen on the wall, which is also slightly different from the menu shown in the digital kiosks (I didn't order from the kiosk but took a look at it). Maybe it's because this store is still tweaking the menu, though in this case it would be helpful to explain to customers. Yesterday I came by to redeem a coupon for a free drink, it was a generous offer and thanks for giving me another opportunity to try a drink! Choosing the Jasmine coconut tea with water chestnut bubbles, the flavor combo sounded interesting though didn't mesh that successfully in reality. The water chestnut bubbles provided a pop and little crunch which was unlike anything I've had before, with a light, almost imperceptible sweetness. Overall I felt the staff was kind--thanks for the rose with the drink and the panda takeaway bag during the initial boba crawl!

Quality tea drinks that actually taste like tea,…read moreand unlike the other locations the wait tends to be pretty bearable, even on the weekend. Although a pro tip is to firstly order from the app (for the discounts and rewards) and then if there IS a wait, just walk a block over and kill sometime in the LIC food hall (maybe grab a snack to go with your tea drink). You could also hit up naisnow and get egg tarts (my personal fave egg tarts in the city right now) and have a little food crawl of sorts. HeyTea is delicious and always pumping out drinks no matter the time of day at this location. It's a small space and there's a relatively big team handling all the orders that keep coming in but they have always been patient and despite being busy never been too frazzled to help me out.

We showed up and ended up waiting a bit, only to realize (too late) that we could've ordered online ahead of time. Pro tip: save yourself the wait and order in advance! That said, they do have a kiosk inside, which helps move things along once you're there. The bubble tea itself was pretty good -- fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The boba had a good chew, and the sweetness level was on point. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but definitely solid and worth coming back for. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood. Just plan ahead if you don't love waiting in tight spaces!

The inside of the shop is fairly small and probably can't fit more than ~5 people in there, so it's definitely a grab and go spot. They have a deal here where you can get two onigiri and a drink starting from $15.95 (it gets more expensive if you get one of the premium onigiri or an expensive drink). When I went, I got their marinated pork and mala beef onigiri as well as their taro milk tea with purple rice. Their onigiri is a great deal and I loved them. It had flavorful meat, a great meat:rice ratio, and was a good size. Their drinks were good too. Would come back to try other drinks or get onigiri again~

Their deal with two rice balls is amazing and extremely filling!! They have some of the best onigiri we have ever tasted!! The roasted pork belly rice ball is my favorite. They were patient the first time I came in and was unsure what I wanted, and they've only improved in kindness since I've become more regular. I once only wanted boba, and they were so kind being willing to give as much as I wanted. I couldnt recommend them more!
