On yet another snowy Sunday afternoon in NYC, my partner and I were looking for a cafe in Jackson Heights to kill an hour or so. He found this cozy Tibetan tea spot, located at the back of another store. There are about 7-8 small tables and we managed to snag the last free one.
We split a pot of goji date milk tea, which was comforting and had a light, fragrant jujube and goji berry flavor. The pot came with a side of jujubes, goji berries, and rock sugar, but those were purely for presentation and not meant to be used. We did wish it had been a bit sweeter, so maybe we should've asked for sugar.
In addition to hot drinks, they serve a variety of beverages and snacks. The wall and ceiling art is beautiful, and the music is so soothing and peaceful. We honestly could've stayed here for hours, sipping our tea and trying others, if we didn't have other plans. Regret. read more
