This location is in Astoria, western Queens, NYC which is certainly not an easy trek intra borough from southwestern Queens, NYC via Manhattan MTC NYC Transit N train at 30th Avenue subway station. Caution: There are several narrow steps upon entrance/exit as it is not ADA accessible. This location is a small brick and mortar business and appears there is only one employee who was in the backend leaving the cash wrap unattended. I had to scream to flag for assistance several times waving as I, am fully aware, being recorded. Peach Oolong medium tea, $5.95 This tea has become my standard favorite with my default grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉, $0.75. It taste good. The tea was solid and my ice request was honored and held intact as my cup was profusely sweating condensation. It contains fresh fruit pieces yellow peach. It was a joyful delight. The males sales associate gave me a nefarious profile look while issuing my change in cash. Bro, if you stay at your post watching the cash wrap doing your job rather than checking social media on your cell phone then I would not have to scream for assistance! Four stars, for ineffective customer service. I did obtained my sales request, but no drink label on my affixed to my cup. It appears Kung Fu Tea is promoting Care Bears, fictional animated characters as the plastic cup and lid is adored including the red heart logo and Care-a-Lot fluffy clouds. The Roasted Chestnut Milk Tea had a warm, toasty flavor and was perfectly balanced with light sweetness and less ice. The newest location for Kung Fu Tea, which seemingly appeared out of nowhere, opened just a few days ago (July 11) right next to Chip. Cookies and booba is not a combination I normally would think of of putting together but it somehow works here. Buy your cookies and then head next door for your booba...genius. Liked most of the other Kung Fu Tea locations, this one is a tiny slip of a place. The menu here is consistent with other locations. My go to drink is usually either a taro milk tea with lychee or a mango slush. I got both on my first visit here and I was not disappointed. Both drinks were executed well, I'm happy to say. They didn't have the full menu available yet but no worries cause I'll probably be back here and often. As for Kung Fu teahouse, they are a very small hole in the wall chain (as in multiple locations) teahouse right next to Chip. I ordered a milk tea with boba (no idea what boba is, but it hit the spot on a very hot day. I found the employees to be prompt and courteous. Ordering can be a bit of a squeeze, and the overhead menu is a little hard to read even with glasses. It was a quick in and out experience which was made ever so much more pleasant by meeting a new FB friend in person. read more

As an avid boba drinker, I was very impressed with the quality of the tapioca, the flavors, and the service that was provided. Get the lychee punch with lychee jelly and you will not be disappointed! I went inside to ask for a replacement for one of the two incorrect orders and someone behind the counter accused me of swapping out of the stickers on the drink. I will not be returning here. Their opening weekend they advertised BOGO. We thought we'd check it out. Turns out I t's only plain tea, white grape punch, strawberry lemonade, and taro. We didn't take advantage of the BOGO. I ordered a large Kung fu oolong iced tea with lychee bubbles. They messed up my order twice and the first time the cashier was an ass about fixing the order. I love Kung Fu Tea and when this one opened up I was so excited since it's way more convenient than the one in the city. Unfortunately the boba at this location is so disappointing, especially in the more recent months. It's very tough and the taste is way off almost resembling olive juice which makes the entire drink gross.
