Since we were in Forest Hills, Queens, and I had never been here, we chose to go to Eddie's. This place is really good, with an extensive menu of desserts ranging from soda floats to banana splits and many other little treats. A sweet lover's paradise. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier. Let's just say I left this place very satisfied. I had my basic yet delicious ice cream scoops. Yum. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

From the decor to the serving cups you are getting no frills but great quality. Its a traditional ice cream parlor. And im not mad at it. They have counter seating for small groups to tables in the back. We had a group of 6 and was seated quickly. I had the ice cream float with root beer syrup. The vanilla ice cream sat delicately on top of the soda. The soda wasn't overly sweet and fizzy. I had time to enjoy the ice cream and the soda separately. My daughter had vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. There was not a sprinkle in sight when she was done. This isn't our first time. Nor will this be our last. All the ice cream flavor are of great quality. The fudge to the sundae is classic. Ideal for after dinner or date night after a movie. Dont forget to bring cash.

It's absolutely amazing, and the filling is very generous--it feels like heaven in every bite. Another favorite of mine is the chocolate layer cake: rich, velvety smooth chocolate that isn't overly sweet. The only thing I don't agree with is that they do not clearly tell customers that dining in adds an extra $1 charge to each item. Yes, check your receipt. I'm expected to tip my waitstaff and also pay an extra dollar per item just because I chose to dine in. For example, the cupcake is usually $4.75 to go, but they charged me an extra $1 for dining in. Their cake slices are usually $9.50 to go, but I was charged $10.50. I also tipped 20%, so the added charge felt frustrating, especially since there was no clear notice. When I asked the waitstaff about the $1 charge, she said it was entered that way because I dined in. When I later called about it, the manager simply said, "Next time, just order to go if you don't want to be charged extra." That response was disappointing, especially since there was no visible sign explaining this policy, and their dine-in menu does not show separate pricing. I really think management should fix this to avoid misleading customers. Transparency matters. Don't get me wrong--I would still come back because their cakes are amazing, but from now on, I'll always order everything to go.

Over the years, I have tried many of their desserts since it's one of the only decent dessert options around the area. However, it would not be my first choice if I had others. With that said, my whole family and many of my friends all agree that their best item is the Berry Napoleon. That is the one cake that I do enjoy from this shop. We often buy a whole cake for a group gathering or birthdays. As for dining in, there's always a lot of people inside the store and it gets a bit loud. Not my favorite place to relax and chat with my friends. That's why I only buy takeout when I do get the Berry Napoleon. I think I do prefer the Astoria original location more.

Strawberry Nutella $10.83 Sliced fresh strawberries and Nutella are my favorite combination. It is the only crepe that I have a desideratum as nothing else on the menu entice my interest. It was certainly delicious and fresh served on a cardboard holder in a small custom metal stanchion as I decided to dine-in. I would never made it home in one cohesive piece of my long-haul MTA NYC Transit bus ride to southwestern Queens, NYC. The crepe was also messy with the Nutella spewing out when biting and holding the crepe. The Nutella was very delicious and chocolatey. It was prepared in a open-kitchen. Price is standard as expected in 2026 stagflation era. French crepes reminisce me of a past visit to Paris, France of once idyllic times with my former love. Customer service is attentive. There is sufficient indoor seating with tables. This T-Swirl Crepe is located on a second floor small shopping complex. I did receive a sale receipt as proof and authority in support of my patronized visit.

These crepes were thin and crispy on the edges. The strawberry, chocolate truffles, and matcha paired so well together, and the crepes were stuffed. I also tried the Chicken Teriyaki Crepe, which was filled to the brim with spinach, corn, red onion, eggs, and chicken. There was a proportionate ratio of veggies to protein. The taste was somewhat nostalgic and reminded me of the sandwiches I used to get at a Chinese bakery. I tried the Strawberry Cucumber Iced Tea with lychee jelly, which was very refreshing and reminded me of a spa. There is a bit of a wait for your food and drinks after you place your order, but it's not an unreasonable wait. This was my first time trying T-Swirl, and I was really surprised and impressed. This creperie is located in a corner and is pretty dim, but there's a few tables and chairs inside.

This shop is ran by a bunch of young ladies, who are all very friendly and helpful. The menu has a large selection of cookies and cookie creations, as well as ice cream and milkshakes. They also carry pints of Tipsy Scoop (alcohol infused ice cream) and a few Dipping Dots flavor. Yesterday, Two of us decided to get a Cookies & Ice Cream, which was humongous. The new flavor Reeses Nightmare was absolutely delicious and a chocolate peanut butter fan's wet dream. I topped it over a chocolate chip cookie, which had crispy edges and a gooey center, exactly how I like it. However, if there is too much of a good thing, then maybe that's what I was feeling towards the bottom of the cup. Meanwhile, the cup of cappuccino I got to wash down all that sweetness was terrible. I couldn't taste the coffee at all because there was so much milk added. I will give them a pass since they are not a coffee shop. Going forward, I know where I will go locally for cookies and ice cream. Creamsicle is on my radar, along with The Squirrel's Best Friend.

I usually try Ecuadorian places with my mom (who is pretty picky with Ecuadorian food). She had the peach cup. In her opinion it was more peaches than ice cream, she's not going to order it again . Despite that, she did enjoy it. The coconut ice cream she ordered complemented the peaches nicely and she enjoyed the whipped cream with the cheese topping. I ordered the Bogati cup and we both enjoyed it a lot! It had the perfect ice cream, whipped cream, cheese ratio. The space is small but well decorated. Cons: This place is really popular and there's only a staff of three. The line was out the door!! The wait was long to place the order and to get our ice cream. There are only about 6 tables and the space is cramped with the line. When the ice cream is ready a staff member calls out your name and hand delivers your order. (Whether you're in the store or waiting outside) I don't know that the staff was prepared for how popular this place would be. Hopefully they figure out how to make things more efficient. Despite all that, I'm definitely coming back.

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.
