Opened at 9 pm and close walking distance to the train. They have delicious croissants and strong coffee. . I also saw they had the world cup playing indoors. There's two tables with a several seats, but you can always grab your treats to go. They all kind of pastries, cake slices, pie slices, and see delicious breads. The lady who works behind the counter is sweet also! read more

I didn't go inside the bakery but my co workers brought the cake for a celebration at work. I am obsessed with the velvet cake! The little chocolate chips inside was a complete surprise. It made me go for seconds lol. Not sure the size of the cake but it was small maybe about 6-8 servings. It was approximately $40 so a bit on the pricey side! read more

La Baker - Red Velvet Cake - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Queens, New York

Visited around 5pm on a weekday. There were 3 tables open when I got here. The desserts are to die for. There are so many creative goodies and the staff informed me they are all baked on site. I tried an ice tea and a croissant but I want to come back for the more decadent desserts on display. Very friendly service! Laptop friendly, which is what I was looking for, to get some work done. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and you have a nice view of the crosswalk and can people watch through the glass. I'd recommend this as a quick pit stop if you are looking for coffee or somewhere just to stop real quick and sit down between locations. read more

Ate and went here today during my bike group trying this place out for the first time. We definitely got different kinds of pastries to share together and it looks good and it had tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and quite good and efficient. We couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :) read more

I found this pastry/bakery late night using the Good to Go app. Their products are amazing. Got a cream bun which looked good. It's a really large bun stuffed with plenty of cream. It has powdered sugar on top. Since it was to stay, they gave me a plastic spoon. I wish they'd given a plastic knife as well, since it was really hard to slice with a spoon. The bun has a great height to it due to all the cream in the middle. It really was a mouthful, quite literally. It was great, the cream is dense. I loved it until I got to the middle of the bun (till I ate half) when I realized half the cram filling contains caramel. I wish it'd been labeled as containing caramel. I wouldn't have gotten it had I known. It made me nauseous from the overly sweet caramel. Wuda been perfect without it. Not everyone lines OD sweet things. Please label appropriately. read more

Cute cafe with unique pastry and dessert options! We got the mango lassi mousse, which was creamy, mangoey, and super sweet. A little too sweet for my liking and seemed alright. Wouldn't be something I would get again. Presentation was definitely on point though! Also noticed that they have pistachio croissants but we were too full to try. Will definitely come back :) read more

La Baker - Love eating this on break - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Queens, New York

Jackson Heights that is now hone to mostly Pakistani, Indian, Nepali and Bangladeshi origin people is a trip ito the sub continent. The aromas, the sights the people, the shopping is all lined up to bring a taste of the east and it quite a treat. Even with all these attractions, finding parking is the most challenging thing. On a Friday evening during rush hour I somehow found parking right in front of this cute little bakery. Taking this as a sign I decided to check this place out. The place is small, occupies a corner spot with plenty of glass windows to view the street scenes. They have sandwiches, desserts, coffee and tea. On trying some of the items I was very satisfied by the results. The Mango Lassi Mouse was a great creation given the locals who frequent it. The highlight for me was the Chocolate Caramel pastry which was simply amazing. I picked a few items to go and they did not last by the time I reached home. A very thoughtful and creative addition to the Jackson hoeght center. French with a spin on desi's read more

It was still good but unfortunately the shredded chicken sandwich was okay. It wasn't the best and the quesadilla didn't have melted cheese. But we asked to warm it up and the staff were really nice and accommodating. I always love the vibe of the space but due to the limited seating we had to wait a while for seats. They only have two tables and 5 chairs. In general I always recommend La Bakery for quick grub! read more

Cute bakery with friendly staff and fresh bread. I tried a few of their croissants and they are very good. The only one I didn't like was the chocolate one. I would recommend the almond and the speciality flavor ones like the strawberry cream one- it was very fresh and reasonably priced. The elephant ears or palmiers were very crispy and buttery. It's a good option for those who keep halal. I will be back. read more

I too wanted to like this place but the flavors of the past and desserts are not it. I've tried about 10 diff items. A lot of "whatever" type of pastries and cookies to fill up space. Bread is displayed everywhere but I don't think they specialize in bread, maybe it was just for decor? Coffee is not good either :( I've tried diff ones too. Very considerate of them to have halal ham & cheese but again, it wasn't great. I was very excited about it when I walked past it everyday when it was under construction. Sad that it's very whatever. They started to do lunch specials (pizza, sandwich, soda). Confusing to have hot food being introduced to a bakery.. Maybe cos they're not doing too hot. ;( The staff are extremely nice and great people. The space is nice. If you need to kill time, I guess you can get something small and sit here. read more

Don't want to heat your order if you go at 10:20pm. So i suggest go early

Ordered on Post Mates. The Oatmeal Raisin Cookies were as hard as a rock. I ordered 3 of them and all 3 came stale and hard. Could not eat.

We love coming here for baked goods! I haven't tried their drinks so can't speak to those. However, I've tried a number of their pastries and I'm a fan of their Pistachio Croissant! I will say it's sometimes a hit or miss on how crisp and flaky it is, but the filling is always a hit for me. I've also gotten their strawberry croissant, and it's worth noting that it has strawberry jam filling, not cream. I also enjoyed their lemon scone as I was craving something lemony and sweet, and their Nutella desserts were also quite rich. A huge plus is that their pastries are very affordably priced and the staff are friendly! The display cases are also very clean, neat, and aesthetically organized. read more

Very good bakery with many French style desserts. Their almond croissant is one of the best I've had in Queens. Highly recommended.

Uf. I really really wanted to like this place. I walk past this location every morning when dropping my kid off at daycare and had eagerly waited its opening. When it finally opened, I checked it out and...was sorely disappointed. First, you never smell fresh bread, the smell that you would expect from a bakery. Walking past this place five times a week in the mornings and in the afternoons, I have never smelled fresh bread. As such, when I did order something to try (a croissant and chocolate croissant), neither of them tasted fresh. I even had a milk bread to go and it was not very good, tasting too dense, dry, and not fresh. I've kept away from them since then, but I am hoping after a while, I can smell fresh pastries or bread being made at this location and actually go back in. read more

Only ordered the $3 coffee. Dull, not worth. Not much else I can say. Would rather go to DD or have a kcup.

New place, I ordered their heart cheesecake in a pinch and it was a hit! Didnt see enough positive reviews but the cheese cake was light, had a cookie crumble and chocolate base, and was enjoyed by everyone at the party. I know every new business has to find their groove, so if you need a cake, definitely give theirs a try. They're a wonderful place and their desserts look absolutely artistic. They have this green apple sugar glass dessert I plan to try next! read more

A big disappointment! Been passing thru this area and waiting for this store to finally open, but today when we finally decided to try their breads. Not freshly baked at all. You would expect to feel those croissant layers in a crunchy bite but none of that. We also tried a cinnamon roll like bread, tasted cardamom or something else. I would just go to PB instead. Same price. read more

Store employee said that the chicken patty was good but it was by far the worst one I have had. Inside the meat didn't have any spice. Their desserts are beautiful and tasty. Avg $6 each. Pricey for the neighborhood. As a coffee shop they charge extra $.50 for half and half. Non dairy milk, I can understand but I've never heard of charging for half and half. The staff are NOT baristas by any means so i wouldn't recommend this place for any specialty coffees. Small/limited high seating. Don't recommend for wheelchair accessibility. It's a shame this place delivers subpar considering it took nearly 3 years to open. Best of luck to them nonetheless. read more

Terrible place. The actual architect is beautiful BUT the workers are all inexperienced and lack customer service. This is a "Spanish" place yet most desserts are Indian inspired BUT they have a halal ham bread it's literally pig the girl behind the counter said it was pork so how the hell is that possible. There is a ton of hanging out inside and out front the place just looks like a disaster ! I went twice and both times the workers were just dumb and the actual food quality is terrrible read more
