If you haven't tried this Irish pub, you need to. We were seated at the bar and immediately taken care of by the bartender. I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The salmon was incredible, mouth watering in fact. The ambience is really nice. There are plenty of tables to sit at if the bar is not your thing. Burger and fries you cannot go wrong. I added bacon, sauté onions, mushrooms and cheese to mine Yummo. My sidekick for the night got the steak bomb on a wrap. And was happy with the choice. Service was great very attentive and friendly even when she was only one behind the bar and it was busy for a Tuesday. We've visited this location a couple of times. First visit we had a meal. It was OK. Service was OK too. Neither was 'note worth'. Neither was terrible. It was an OK experience. Our most recent visit we brought out of state friends for an adult beverage. The bartender, although he did not tell us about himself, has an Irish accent, which is fun. Sadly, this is another Irish pub/restaurant that does not play Irish music. For us, Irish music really sets the tone and improves the experience. But I digress. A parking small parking lot is across the street and a crosswalk at the stoplight at the corner. You'll want to use that. It's a busy road. The door is on this busy road, right at the sidewalk. You may also be able to find parking on a side street nearby. They have added a small outside dining area since our last visit. I love this option now available at many establishment. There is a large, square bar, taking up most of the front of the restaurant. The bartender was friendly and professional and asked if we would be dining during our stay. We were given drinks menus and there are a fair number of beers on tap. He makes a very good Jameson and Ginger and pours a nice beer. He kept tabs on us throughout our visit even though we didn't see him much (visually) he would pop by and ask if we needed anything. Prices of the drinks is reasonable. The bar and restaurant are clean. The music isn't 'too loud' and the air conditioning was cool, without being cold. If you are a fan of Irish pubs and pub fare, this may be a good option for you. read more

A great spot for drinks, food & live music! We stopped here after visiting Slater Memorial Park as a family and were pleasantly surprised at the ease of the parking (off street in a lot on the side of the building), the cleanliness and style of the restaurant and the really great food! We had the calamari app (recommended), the stuffed mushrooms, two coal fired pizzas, a shepherds pie and a burger - and everyone loved their meals! We will definitely be back. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was even a musician at the bar playing fiddle which added to the Irish pub atmosphere. read more

I remember when this iconic establishment was called The Classic. I was 17 and I was on a date to go see Aerosmith in concert. It was my first taste of classy dining and I'll never forget it. Fast forward 30 years and the space has turned hands countless times with not much success. Now it's a lovely Irish Restaurant back in the hands of Jimmy Burchfield who started it all. The menu is great as is the ambience. Lots of great beers on tap and a few were only $3 a glass!! On this particular evening there was a gentleman singing great songs in the back area. It was also fight night and I was delighted to know that Mr. Burchfield was going to televise the pay-per-view event between Tyson Fury and Wilder. This was an added Bonus since I'm a boxing fan. We enjoyed a couple different pizzas and they were excellent. I'm so happy this restaurant is thriving in the hands of the original OG and I will definitely be back!! read more

We went here for lunch last week and ordered Reubens. The sandwiches were a decent size and had good flavor. The fries were so greasy though that they were inedible. The place has a mild bleach smell but is otherwise a very nice bar. The server was very nice and friendly. However, service was very slow even though the place was nearly empty. They must have a small staff for lunch. read more

Went here tonight with husband and friends. We got cheesesteak spring rolls, onion strings and wings to go. The egg rolls were bland and not enough cheese. Onion strings were ok and my husband said the wings were dry. I have had their pizza before and that's good. Drink prices are reasonable. Food is a little pricey for something that's not great. I wish they had more burgers to choose from they only had 1 I believe. The place itself is very nice. The staff was friendly. The valet is on Charles St and everyone knows that's a busy street so when someone is getting out or in of the car it holds up the traffic and it's not very safe. We will go because it's so close to the house. Hopefully next time the food will have better luck with food. read more

Kudos for joining the neighborhood! Also- thanks for securing parking! (across the street.) **This review is based off a limited menu and the restaurant just opened. Based off our experiences at the other location we will give it a try in a few weeks or months** Step inside and they did a great job with the floor plan and décor! Looks similar to the other location- nice job branding. Was a little disappointed to walk in and find a very limited menu for the time being. Made it even harder to choose for a 7 year old. The waitress suggested ahi for her ??? Also, why does a restaurant have children dinosaur cups but doesn't have a kids menu? Anyways... we ended up custom making her a cheese pizza (very nice of them) and my boyfriend and I split an order of wings and the a rib grilled cheese. So the wings arrive. Some were cooked too much and some not enough. Also, it's the same wings as the other location... those wings are good! These wings... too much rub applied, super salty and honestly we were disappointed. I stopped eating them. The sandwich... did it have any flavor?? There was cheese, onions and meat! No flavor. They were nice enough to separate the order for us without asking. The pizza... the 7 year old had no complaints. The waitress asked my boyfriend for a re-fill and he agreed. He must have waited 5 minutes to receive his drink which he waited to dig into his sandwich for. I was almost done with my sandwich before the drink arrived. (Keep in mind they were not really busy- plenty of open tables.) I also went into the bathroom and found a sliver of the mirror on the counter- glad I tossed it before my daughter touched it! Overall... a new establishment that has some kinks to work out and I have hope that it gets as good as the other location, it would be a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

So I'm so frustrated I literally redownloaded yelp to make this review. I love arignas. Both locations. I think they have great food, I love the pizza. I have been to both locations many times. But the past three or 4 times I have been to north providence I have gotten take out and the service needs some SERIOUS help It's been twice on a Sunday evening I've walked in to pick up my order and the girls who are on wait staff can't be bothered to serve me because they are blatantly flirting with tables of men 3 feet away from me. Last night a server walked by me maybe 3 times without even just saying "someone will be with you in a moment, or even a hi" because she was too busy telling some guys they looked like twins. The bartenders looked at me. Looked away. A girl who I guess finished her shift stared at me? Talked to the flirty blonde and let her continue to serve her table of men Maybe seven minutes later someone strolls out with my food. Thanks. Mind you. I paid 17 dollars for a SALAD and almost the same for a cheese pizza. Which I will gladly because I like their food/environment and I like to support a local business. But, I'm pretty turned off after this experience and I looked through other reviews and it seems I'm not the only person this happened to. I hope they work on staff paying attention to ALL patrons moving forward. read more

We came here on a Friday night for food fight. I had not heard of the place before. It is nice inside with lots of tv's, a sports bar vibe. Our server and the staff were friendly. I was thinking it would be bad food, but was pleasantly surprised that it was not. They have a good size menu with lots of variety. I don't eat meat other than seafood and there were many options. The pricing is good and they do have specials. I had the Gouda Mac and Cheese bites and they were delicious. I also had the siracha Mahi wrap with fries. The fries were ok, but I liked my sandwich. It was like a buffalo chicken wrap with fish. The others at my table had the wings and said they were good. It was a little loud, but it was a packed Friday night. Went here last night with my husband and nine year old daughter. Even though the bar is loud and is the central focus of the restaurant, the hostess was able to seat us in a booth where it was quieter and we were able to feel comfortable. Over the course of our visit a few other families with children arrived, so even though we were not offered a kid's menu, this is somewhat of a family friendly place. We tried a pizza, wings, and beverages. The wings had a dry rub and were cooked perfectly, and the pizza was delicious as well. The beverages were priced a little higher than what we are used to, but weren't outrageous. There are 20+ beers on tap, but be warned that there are no prices on the beverage menu. The food menu and daily specials looked great - I would have liked to try the prime rib, but that will have to wait for our next visit. read more

This place made our list of places to try a few months ago, but Summertime is busy and we forgot about it. Fast forward to the other day, and while thinking of new places to try, I remembered this place. You cant miss the bright red building on Charles St. The ample parking lots across the street make finding a spot a breeze. The bar is huge, clean and beautifully designed. The tap system is great, loads of beers on tap. Absolutely fantastic selection. Clean menu, nice variation of foods. We ordered the Irish Tater Kegs. Extra large size tater tots stuffed with corned beef, swiss, and sauerkraut. The husband ordered "Bangers and Mashed" sausages, mashed potatoes with caramelized onions, and I ordered a Giancaria Coal fired pizza. The food was excellent, served pretty quickly, food presentation was pleasing. The staff were super friendly, informative, fun. The mix of people at the bar on a sunday afternoon was a nice mix old and young, couples, and buddies. Seating was comfortable, lighting was bright and airy. All in all a great place to try. The new north providence location has become our go to joint for a bite to eat and couple drinks on aFriday night. The coal fire pizza bar is very cool and the pizza is great. One downside and the reason I didn't give 5 stars... the ladies room is a disaster. Water not working and needs some serious tlc. Big complaint from my gf. The bar/restaurant is nicely done. Why would they leave the bathroom is such dismal condition ? Other than that we love it here. Oh the servers are all great too!! read more

Horrible, seated then waited 30 minutes to order drinks! Waited another 30 for appetizer, the wings showed up CHARED AND BLACK. Asked to see the manager, the manager took 15 minutes to see us and showed up and couldn't understand our frustration. The staff is very inattentive to the customers but enjoy standing next to the bar and talking while ignoring people who have no food or drinks. We walked out.... never going back. Came here once to watch a game. The atmosphere is like a cozy Irish pub look which is nice, with an ambiance of low lighting. The food was pretty good as well! I had a side salad, fries and ck strips which were all great. The tv's around the bar area are well sized. This isn't a huge party bar, it's more of a smaller spot to be lowkey at. Get here and get here quick! Food and atmosphere is phenomenal. I loved the wood fired grill it definitely added to the ambiance and made the place nice and toasty. We started out with the sausage stuffed mushrooms .... I don't even like sausage and I LOVED these. We then got a pizza half Popeye and half Roscommon which is like a corned beef Ruben. WOW! The Roscommon was my favorite. I would have preferred the whole pizza being the Roscommon but it was good to try something else too. Looking forward to going back and trying a few more other mouth watering items on their menu. read more

We had Calamari, we all agreed it was the best we have ever had anywhere. My Rubin was great. Our waitress was perfect. Service was terrible. Water tasted awful, when I politely asked for club soda the waitress looked inconvenienced and heavy sighed. Brought our check over without asking if we'd like anything else. Never took any of our empty dishes away even after bringing back the bill, she had to be asked. Also had to be asked for a box for left over pizza to which she also seemed inconvenienced. Fries were worst I've ever had here and burgers were cooked to incorrect temps. Pawtucket location is much better, this one has unfortunately gone downhill. read more

Saw them on Phantom Gourmet and had to try them, and they quickly became one of our usual spots, especially their N. Providence location. Delicious appetizers, particularly their calamari and hog wings; onion rings on point. They're quite generous with their drinks, and the staff always friendly and welcoming. read more
