The hotel and restaurant are beautiful--modern, trendy, and perfect for date night or a formal dinner. Valet is $22. Service was excellent, very attentive without feeling rushed. Food was good overall, with some clear highlights. The milk bread and lobster pasta were both fantastic and worth ordering. The Caesar salad was solid. For mains, the skirt steak surprised us--super tender with a delicious mole salt. The lamb chops, though flavorful, were extremely fatty and the portion felt disappointing for the price. We enjoyed the experience and the vibe, but for what we spent, the value wasn't quite there compared to other spots. Good meal, beautiful setting, but not quite memorable enough for us to return soon.

I can't recall the name but it is simply delectable

The food here continues to be amazing. You are always welcomed as soon as you walk in. The food is delectable. I love the Salmon dish, Tandor carrots, Octopus, Salad and so much more. The menu changes seasonally and some main stays continue. Try something from each section. Always trust the service of Gedion he is an excellent server. The ambiance is very calming and inviting too.

Delicious fabulous meal with lovely flavors and beautiful ambiance. The decor is beautiful with luscious greens and candlelight. We ordered the Scallops, Branzino, skirt steak, onion rings, and the strawberry rhubarb dessert. Everything was better than anticipated and well portioned. I would order everything again. My favorite was the Strawberry Rhubbarb Tart for dessert.

Came here on a friday night for a friend's birthday. Parking is VALET only. The ambiance was perfect and the views were very contemporary mixed with modern elements that were warm and organic; loved the vibe! Our waitress was very welcoming and informative. She was patient as she reviewed the cocktail menu and educated us on our chosen drinks. I ordered the brightwood (10/10); others had a French 75, the Uma & the stone and vine (it's like a white sangria). For food, my friends had the seared ora king salmon and I had the prime skirt steak. With the prime skirt steak, I made sure to smash the garlic before applying it as a paste, sprinkling the mole salt on top of every bite of my steak *chef's kiss 10/10, would happily order again. The milk bread and the tempura onion rings were ordered as well. The milk bread was tasty (8/10) but the onion rings were AMAZING (10/10 best onion rings ever). Definitely will return. Great experience!

Ardor is the fine dining restaurant at the West Hollywood Edition and I decided to give them a try on the last night of my trip. The dining experience was excellent. They took me as a walk-in when they opened at 6 pm and I ordered the Spanish octopus. Seared striped bass, charred broccolini and the chocolate expresso torte. Every dish was great - the octopus was perfectly cooked and went really well, that bass had just the right amount of sear but the chocolate torte was the real highlight of the meal for me. Service was great but not too fussy. The restaurant interior is gorgeous - they have a secluded garden area that was just lovely. With tax and tip, this was about $140, which is great for the experience. Highly recommended!!!

Overdue post - Came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary dinner! Food was 10/10! We ordered their signature appetizers, entrees, and dessert and they did not disappoint. I love how the chef incorporates global flavors and seasonal vegetables into the menu. Also loved the smokiness in almost all the warm dishes. These were my favorite menu items in descending order: Spanish Octopus (5/5) - omg the best octopus texture I've had. Flavors, texture, everything was on point! Prime Skirt Steak (5/5) - the smokiness and grill was absolutely amazing. Got it medium rare and it was perfect! King Crab Tagliatelle (5/5) - loved the handmade pasta, king crab chunks, and the herby lemon butter emulsion Chocolate Espresso Torte (5/5) - the wedding anniversary chocolate and candle was cute, but the dessert was on point! All sides and layers were so delicious. It's worth the $20 imo. Tandoor carrots (5/5) - again, loved the smokiness and the eggplant croutons; the hummus almost tasted like baba ganoush Milk Bread (3/5) - I know it's their signature dish, but I don't get the hype. Rosemary, salt, and tomato will always be good, but it was just bread to me. I would have preferred some butter / salt on the side. Service was amazing too! Shoutout to Tim who timed our dishes perfectly so we could enjoy it at our own pace! The ambiance was very romantic and fitting for our wedding anniversary. We went to the rooftop after to enjoy the views as well. Will definitely be back to enjoy the other seasonal menu the chef is working on right now. Love Ardor!

Tried their DineLA menu and everything was fantastic. From texture to flavor to presentation. Ernesto was the best! He was very friendly and attentive, I also appreciated that he made me a custom cocktail when I told him my preferences. We came at 6pm on a Sunday (right when they open) without a reservation and they only let us sit at the bar so I highly recommend making a reservation.

I'm glad I was able to visit during Dine LA week. The food, service, and indoor dining environment were all wonderful. 5th star earned for the milk bread and perfected flavor of the main dishes. Everything I tried, I would order again- milk bread, Spanish octopus, King crab tagliatelle, chocolate espresso torte. The prime skirt steak my friend got was also delicious. The bread was still warm like it had just come out of the oven, and it felt, briefly, like I was enjoying this from home. I'm not usually impressed by pasta, but the tagliatelle was so flavorful. Staff were all friendly and timely in service. And the indoor mixed flora and low-lighting caters great for small parties and dates. Parking is by valet with the attached hotel, around $20. It was convenient and quick.

Came here for a birthday dinner and there were 7 of us. I love the interior bar and chic ambience throughout. We were seated on the patio part which reminded us how busy and loud Sunset Blvd really is! The service was OK, a bit slow and unorganized. Drinks took the longest to get. My glass of wine came out without the wine! They corrected that quickly though. The food was pretty good! But portions are small. We double ordered the milk bread and octopus. Both were good but the milk bread was the star! The onion rings were really good too, perfectly seasoned. Caesar salad was OK; the dressing has a strong anchovy taste. The Tomahawk steak was good, a little more char on the outside would've made it amazing. The mashed potatoes were surprisingly good even though it was overly decorated with peas and chives in it, turning the b-day boy off from eating them. Another guest enjoyed his burger and fries. I can attest the fries were good as well. Overall, a tasty experience with a BIG price tag (especially the drinks). Despite the small portions and spotty service, the food IS pretty good. I give this place a 3.8 for real.

Overall great experience, definitely will be coming back, the vibes are amazing here, the decor is beautiful, everyone was very welcoming, friendly and attentive; and the food was good but not great for me, my Salmon was a bit salty for me but the other food was great.

I have no idea what happened yesterday 01/29 but we drove about an hour to get here to have dinner and to experience Ardor but came to an unannounced closed restaurant. No signage, no posts on socials and Yelp and Google even said they were open. So it was such a bummer to come to an empty restaurant during business hours after dealing with rush hour 101 freeway traffic. We arrived and their doors were unlocked but no sight of employees or customers in sight. Parking situation here is tricky so we even walked a few blocks after finding street parking to avoid valet since I know it can be costly. We were so hungry and felt let down. We were looking forward to it and even took the extra step to check and make reservations on open table (which were available), but instead wanted to avoid putting a CC on file since we were scared to be late and would be charged $50 per person. We were willing to wait for seats once we got there as we assumed it couldn't be a full house since it was a midweek evening. Adding an extra star though since a plus is their restaurant is beautiful, chic and aesthetic. Green plants placed tastefully throughout and comfy looking seats. Can't speak on the food for obvious reasons but their menu items sounded great according to online posts.

We came for dinner but they were able to accommodate us with sandwiches from the lunch menu. We had a vegan in our group and our server offered recommendations for sandwich options and sides. I didn't want anything too heavy so I narrowed down to the little gem Caesar salad and added grilled chicken. It was the right portion and what set it apart was the nested little gem leaves dusted with finely shaved Parmesan. I tasted the farmhouse beets that one person ordered and the blend of arugula and beets with candied pecans and feta was the perfect balance of flavor and texture. The one member of our group that didn't care for her meal ordered the Thai ginger salad and they didn't charge for it when she mentioned it was spicer than she expected. The space has a great vibe. There's outdoor seating and the interior space is very open and has a lot of window space and light. There's also ample bar seating. They can also accommodate groups. The server charged us all individually for what we ordered which was very accommodating and really appreciated. It was a great dining experience overall.

Funny enough, both still had sushi elements, so I'm not sure how that worked, but I'm not complaining. For entrees, we ordered the branzino and shrimp curry. I have to say the communication leading up to the event was pretty disappointing. I sent emails, called multiple times, and often got no response. I eventually found out that only certain people handled private event bookings, but getting in touch with them was a challenge. Every time I called the hotel, I was told they had sent the events team a message. Even after I finally secured the reservation and paid the deposit, I still had questions that went unanswered. In fact, some of them weren't addressed until the night before the event, which was pretty stressful when you're trying to coordinate a special occasion. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury 5-star property, I honestly expected much better communication and customer service. The booking process definitely did not feel like a 5-star experience. That said, once the day of the event arrived, everything went much more smoothly. The service during dinner was good, and the staff took care of us well. We had a prix fixe menu for our guests. I had the steak, which was cooked really well, and the tiramisu was a nice way to end the meal. Most importantly, everyone had a great time, which is what mattered in the end. One tip if you're planning to come here: there's an underground public parking garage right next to the hotel that's much cheaper than using the valet. Overall, the food and service on the day of the event helped make up for a lot of the frustration beforehand. I just wish the communication and event planning process matched the standard that The Maybourne advertises.
