I did not have an appointment, and they took me in waited on about 10 min , my nails came out amazing just what i wanted and not over priced

**1 Star -- Overpriced, Dirty, and No Transparency With Pricing** I can confidently say I will NEVER return to Ardent. From the moment I walked in, my first impression was that the salon looked dirty and poorly maintained. That alone should have been my sign to leave. When I checked in, the gentleman at the front instructed me to select "Full Set." I clearly explained that I was NOT getting a full set, but rather a manicure or builder gel service. He still insisted that I select "Full Set," even though that was not the service I was requesting. Once seated, I showed the nail technician a reference picture. The color wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I agreed to it because I thought it was pretty. I'll take responsibility for that part. **My biggest issue is the complete lack of transparency with pricing.** At no point did anyone explain the cost of the services, provide a price breakdown, or inform me of additional charges. Instead, they waited until everything was finished to tell me my total was **$95!** Let me be very clear: I did NOT get a full set. I did NOT need a fill. I did NOT have any nails removed or replaced. All they did was apply builder gel, which I didn't even need, add color, and place a few diamonds. Somehow, that came out to $95. I have no problem paying for quality nail services, but I absolutely have a problem with businesses that aren't upfront about what they're charging customers. On top of that, the cleanliness of this salon was concerning. Based on what I personally observed, I genuinely question whether the salon is maintaining appropriate sanitation standards. To be fair, the employees weren't necessarily rude. However, the entire experience left me feeling like making money was more important to them than customer satisfaction, communication, or providing a clean and welcoming environment. **Customers deserve clear pricing BEFORE services are performed, not a surprise $95 bill at the end.** Given the opportunity, I would never step foot in this establishment again. This was my personal experience, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon to ask for a complete price breakdown before allowing them to touch your nails. read more

I wanted to try a new nail salon, so I came here for a Gel-X set. At first, I was happy with the results and thought the technician did a good job. I got my nails done on the 4th, but by the 9th, one of my nails had already fallen off. That's only five days later. I wasn't able to come back until the 10th to have it fixed. When I arrived, I had to wait because the technician who originally did my nails wasn't there. They eventually seated me with someone else, and then we had to search for my nail color because they didn't have it on file, which was frustrating considering I had just gotten my nails done there. We eventually found a close match, and the repair itself only took a couple of minutes. While I was getting my nail fixed, there was a mop bucket full of water right next to my chair. One of the employees was wringing out the mop, and dirty water splashed onto me. Instead of apologizing, he laughed about it with another employee, including the person doing my nail. I stayed patient, didn't say anything, and waited until my service was finished, but that made me feel very uncomfortable and was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after the repair they charged me $10 to fix a single nail that had fallen off less than a week after my original appointment. I expected them to stand behind their work, especially since the nail came off so quickly. The person at the front was also rude and dismissive when I questioned the charge. Now, only six days after having that nail repaired, another nail has already broken. At this point, it's clear that the quality of the Gel-X application is not lasting as it should. I've never had this many issues with a fresh set of nails in such a short amount of time. The salon itself didn't appear as clean or well-maintained as other nail shops I've visited, and after this entire experience, I won't be returning. I was disappointed because my first impression was positive, but the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, the cleanliness concerns, and charging me for what should have been a warranty repair completely changed my opinion. read more

I used to come here before I moved out of town and was so excited to come back because they do amazing nail designs and the best shapes. That's why this experience was so disappointing. I paid $80 for a full set, and within less than a week, four nails broke. Joe was kind enough to repair two of them, but another two broke again the very next day. I'm a very fair person and always try to resolve things privately before leaving a review. I reached out twice with photos. I even told myself, "Maybe it's the weekend, I'll give them time." But by Monday, my messages had been read and I still hadn't received a response. I'm not going to chase anyone for customer service. In this day and age, paying $80 plus a $20 tip for a set that doesn't last a week is unacceptable. The designs and shaping are still beautiful, but standing behind your work and communicating with customers is just as important. read more

The service is terrible. My first visit my pedicure was terrible. I was charged full price and a service I didn't receive. When I complained I was offered a free pedicure, when I came back they had no record of it. BEN the person I spoke to was how I asked for before coming in and he was very rude about about. I also had a fill done with this visit, and this is were the real problems started. I went home and just from showering the gel started to peel off in chucks, the acrylic was chipping away. When I called the next morning BEN once again was the person I was speaking to was so rude ans gave me the hardest time on getting them fixed. Refused refund and I asked for any stylist to correct it and was told no to both. So I walked in and BEN left me waiting for 2 hours when he was not even working on a client. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

I first came to the nail salon in July form a recommendation to try Lee. I had asked for hard gel as that was what I currently had and was told no. Then I agreed to gel x as the nails I had were a bit too long for me at the moment. I sent a picture of what I was wanting and Lee said she could do it. When I went in for my appointment she was friendly. She eventually told me no for a milky white background and chose a different color. It turned out fine but was not what I came in for. So be aware of that. I came back in August for a second time and again experience Lee telling me no to the shape I wanted and then she agreed to hard gel this time. She was not as friendly this time and felt like she was talking to everyone around me and not focusing on the client. The amount of time it took to soak off my nails could've been cut down so much and she was not even prepared to have a client sit down at our appt time. I also asked to book a pedicure similar to last time and she seemed to not have helped me with that but luckily I eventually was attended to. The nail tech who helped with my pedicure would not help me find a color to match my nails! Personally I won't be back. I got my nails done with Lee & even though the art was beautiful, the experience was bad. I asked for the nails in the attached picture but I requested a different color for French tip. My nails are along the keyboard. I had also requested a different base color, but Lee kept saying "no" to me and did not let me get a different base option. It was disappointing but the people around were looking at us so I didn't push it. When she showed me the gelx nails, I asked for longer nails but again, she said no. I told her I wanted them longer and she said that medium was best. At that point, she was rude and embarrassing so I just stayed quiet & let her work to avoid any conflict. I wish I walked out (but on the bright side, Hanh did my pedi with acrylic on my toes and she did really great). I also asked about getting acrylic on my toes. Lee said the set would be $25 & the lowest pedicure was $26. I wanted the same French tip color (which was a gel polish) on my toes. When she moved me over for my pedi, Lee gave Hanh a gray polish with white pearl chrome. Lee completely changed it from the gel polish that I picked originally. I didn't know it would be a charge. I upgraded the pedi to the $55 so I thought $55 + $25 would be $80 total. After I left, Lee suddenly charged me extra for the pedicure. All of a sudden it was $45 for acrylic with a $10 fee for the pearl chrome & the $55 pedi that I did pick. I paid her because she seems like she really needed it and she would turn problematic if I didn't send it to her. I decided to try asking if I could get my nails done again because these are my wedding nails, but she was very cold. Of course, when I paid her money, she was kind and even put a heart in her text message to me. That shows the kind of person she is. Her art is good but everything else is a red flag. Glue is visible and thick on back of my nails. I got gelx nails so you know that glue is extremely thick. I notice as soon as I walked out and so I walked back in and their resolution was to drill the glue down but it's still extremely visible. They didn't offer a partial refund or apologize "just attempted to fix it". I am also able to see small bumps from residue visible on my nails. I regret paying 100.00 for nails that were done quick & poorly. Also this odd coming from someone who has visited this establishment frequently. read more

I went to this salon for the first time because I was recommended by a friend and at first it was nice and welcoming. I usually get my toes done and for some reason the person doing my nails was so aggressive with the foot scrubbing. I was literally wiggling in my chair and kept telling him that I'm sensitive on my feet and it really hurts ... well now I'm left with open wounds on the side of my foot. They charged me $85 for a pedicure. $55 for a fill (short acrylic) and because I wanted French tip it was $15 extra. So I paid $70 for a fill set. I made a appt at 10:00am, I wasn't seen until 11:00. I asked for a pedicure with French tip which I was completely unsatisfied. He put acrylic on my toe and it just looked supper bulky, something that I had never seen before. I don't think the 85 dollars for a pedicure that I walked out with was worth it.
