Unfortunately, my last two experiences with Lea have been disappointing. I work full-time, so the only appointments I can typically make are at 6:00 PM. During my first appointment with Lea, I could tell she seemed frustrated with the design I chose, likely because it was more time-consuming and would keep her there later. To her credit, she did a decent job on the set, and I tipped her $15. However, throughout the appointment, several coworkers kept coming over to look at what she was doing and talk amongst themselves. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but it felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. My most recent appointment on 8/27 was much worse. I called early that morning to book a pedicure, soak-off, and new Gel-X set for 6:00 PM. During my pedicure, I asked for French tips on my toes. The technician asked whether I wanted regular polish or gel. Wanting to avoid keeping anyone late, I chose regular polish. Later, another technician stepped in to do the French tips because my original technician wasn't comfortable doing them. When I looked down, I noticed they had only painted the white tips with no base color underneath. When I asked why, I was told that a base color is only included with gel French tip pedicures. No one explained that beforehand, and had I known, I absolutely would have chosen gel. It has only been four days since the appointment, and the white polish is already chipped. I paid $45 for a French tip pedicure that already looks worn out and unfinished. As for my Gel-X set, I paid $135 and was once again unhappy with the results. The design looks nothing like the inspiration photo I showed Lea. Similar to my first appointment, she seemed annoyed throughout the service, and coworkers repeatedly stopped by to watch and comment on her work. The final result looks rushed and does not reflect what I requested. In total, I spent $185 and left with a pedicure that chipped within days and a nail set that doesn't resemble the design I paid for. I'm disappointed because I've been a loyal customer since the salon opened and have always recommended this place to others. At this point, I would appreciate a complimentary redo of my pedicure and either a partial refund or a redo of my Gel-X set with a different technician. I truly loved this salon, but after these last two experiences, I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.

My response to OWNER response on my first post to this business website: I don't know about the rest of the adult women who earn their own income out here, but I'm not interested in other people speaking for me and why I chose to do things and make the decisions I make. Firstly, saying I never paid more then $100 is a direct , clear, lie as every single time I came to this asking I got both my nails AND toes done which absolutely NEVER cost $100 or below. It was ALWAYS upwards to almost $200 or close to it. Secondly, I think those of us out here who have an IQ and general intelligence are all aware of the "business and control tactic" of responding in a "thank you for your business" way in print while the person is treated completely differently in person. Your pat writing here does not absolve you of WHAT I DIRECTLY experienced at your nail salon as well as others as I said in my post above..If I am lying , they are awfully specific lies now aren't they?? You are an Engineer by trade, Mr. Owner, per your wife who is tech at salon, not a Psychologist so I would stay in your scope and not try to speak to my Psychological and emotional reasoning and motivation for the things I do and what I behind all that. The only truth you said is that I have been a long term client, which I already said myself above. MY reasoning for continuing to go to your salon had nothing to do with anything you said. I was raised with values.. loyalty and, as I already said, not to humiliate others and make a scene of things which leads one to not speak out and be as forward as I am now, which says a lot because I was don't with the abusive treatment and poor services I described above and at my limit. You show you have no respect to long term clients who are loyal and you discontinue people and silence them when they speak out and not a minute sooner. The last VERBAL conversation I had with you as an OWNER of purported business went like this ...informing you that the next time I was there I would no longer tolerate all the above behaviors I listed. BOUNDARIES, RESPECT for things I PAID FOR giving you GRACE and a chance to change all of the behaviors I have described . Your reference to a Design that was "too much" was a single pink polish, on short nails, with basic paint strawberries on them. The easiest design I have ever done. Don't go for the lies. It's okay though because you, like anyone else, can lie and maybe even get away with it down here on this earth and even have fools believe you , but the truth is GOD knows and sees all, including the lies you tell and the deception you are doing it with because what is done in the darkness ALWAYS comes to light. Your lies here just build negative karma for you. Please, do continue so you can further degrade yourself spiritually telling the lies you have just told. Zero integrity. I guess the below really looks like it has to do with my design and not your wife who is a nail tech not being able to do her job without "anxiety" which is what she gets paid to do. Words in written format vs you on the phone and. Your staff in person are very different . Response: Anyone who bothers to look at your husband, the owners, first response to my initial post on your website will see that you lie. I accommodated you, when your job is to do a job you get paid for. I absolutely never asked for perfection. your spinning a narrative in WRITING so your business does not look bad and suffer. how many times did I have to work around your "anxiety" when I should have just been able to book an appointment per my schedule and not accommodate my schedule around your alleged panic attacks with how long YOU felt was the right scheduling time ?? Rediculous! not to mention , most importantly, you NEVER had "anxiety" UNTIl I set my BOUNDARIES of not putting up with being treated disrespectfully at the nail salon! how convenient that is ! You said I expected my nails to match... this is hilarious, do you think your clientele who works for their money and is coming in for their self care, to look and feel pretty is paying you for mis-matched nails?! Once again, you and your husband can continue to tag team writing BS responses to my posts.. I don't care. people who read it can believe what they want. The truth is the truth, period. I suggest you worry about GOD judging the fact that you continue to spew lies out of your faces, the both of you. clearly, you have no spiritual values or anchoring to continue on lying . it is really disgusting. If you now allegedly have such severe anxiety that you can't do your job function that people are paying for then I suggest either therapy , medication support or going on SSI. If you can't do your job no one should be expected to pay for that. End of story. read more

The most terrible experience ever!!!!!! I've gone to multiple nail salons and never in my life had such a bad experience. I have a nail place I like to go to, but that day I was in the area and decided to give this place a shot. I went in for a full set of acrylics with gel polish. 2 days later both of my index finger nails fell off while I was washing my hair. The next day my thumb nail broke off I was like "what the hell?!" So I called the place and asked to speak to a manager and spoke to HENRY. Owner or manager of this place. I explained what was going on and that it was very unacceptable for all my nails to start falling off that way after I had paid $35 for this service. He told me come in and I will see what I can do. So I went over the next day, by the time I got to this nail place all my nails had fell off. Any little movement I would make they would just fall out. So, I get there and I'm waiting in the reception desk for about 10 mins and nobody even acknowledges me. I call over one of the ladies and ask for Henry as I see him peek his head out and I say to the lady "Oh! Nvm I see him and walked over to his station and told him if he can please walk over to the reception desk because I needed to speak to him and didn't want to be disrespectful to his current client and he totally ignored me. I walk over to the reception area and wait for another 10 mins and he sits and starts working on another client and I tell him excuse me Henry I am still here waiting. By now I'm upset. He comes up to me and says "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!" In a very loud and rude voice. So I say excuse me I came here got my nails done paid $35 and 4 days later they are all off. I called you on the phone and told you I would come to see what you can do and He tells me "I'm too busy I can't help you!!" again yelling and screaming at me and I said so you're not going to do anything about this, this is unacceptable and he said "No, leave and do whatever you want!" So here I am yelping and letting you all know he is one rude, disrespectful a****** and I will NEVER come to this place again or even recommend people to come here!!!!! I just had the most amazing experience at this nail salon! If you're after natural yet standout nails, this is the place for you. Jennifer knew exactly what I wanted without me having to explain much. My nails turned out stunningly natural with that extra oomph! Went to Venice Nail Spa today for some much needed self care. Got the #6 pedicure OMG heaven! I was offered complimentary beverage during my visit. Thanked for patiently waiting even though I was a walk-in. Diane did my nails and it's the first time ever I have gotten the exact thing I wanted. I also got classic eyelash extensions with Michelle reasonably priced and I feel absolutely beautiful! At the end of my visit was offered a stamp card and complimentary hand cream! This is my go to salon for my nails. The ambiance is relaxing as I get my mani and pedi done. They will offer you something to drink as you relax. I've been going to Tim, Nancy and Gwen for over a year they are so nice and funny. I've taken 2 of my friends there and it now has become there go too also. I really enjoyed the service, and their prices are reasonable but as I was getting a pedicure, the lady cut a little too deep into my toenail and it hurt for about a week. It may have been my fault for not speaking up but other than that they are a great nail salon and it could have been a one-time incident. read more

I tried gel x for the first time and liked it! The french tips turned out great thank you! $65 for the full set I would highly recommend going here, I will be back in the future.
