First time here ! Why didn't I find this place sooner it's so close to where I live too. Let me tell you the customer service is exceptional. I asked for the pricing beforehand because i know I was overcharged somewhere else and the owner was so welcoming and nice about it. I basically vented to him about being overcharged. He said it's always good to ask. They are all so kind, friendly, and actually care about their customers. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and the owner did my nails and he's very funny. So been a few times and had a great experience I went last night Had an older lady do my powder dip - Was not the best . I was not happy with it The manager came over asked me if I was satisfied- I let him know I was not He looked at them and he did not hesitate to fix them even though they had closed 30 minutes prior And all this guy wanted to do was go home to his new baby He stayed and made them beautiful. I cannot believe I am the first person to review this place! I have been coming to Modern Nail for a few years now, and their service is ALWAYS consistent. It is always clean, they have new equipment, and they have great customer service. When it is your turn and you are seated in the massage chair, they give you bottled water and a magazine (I think that's super cool). When I bring the rugrats with me, they are always accommodating to them as well! As for their nail service, it's second to NONE! I have never been so satisfied with a nail salon. I get my pedicures here, and they never, ever chip. I don't know what polish they use, but it's super duper. And it won't stain your nails, either. Also, every person who's done my nails there has done a great job, so I don't request a specific person when I go in. As for the price, I hear that it's a little higher then most, which I wouldn't know because I've been coming here for so long. But a regular spa pedicure will run you about $20, and that does not include callous removal, which is an extra $5 if you choose to include that. Even if you have to pay more to come here, it's worth every extra penny. So, come check them out! read more

(weird to say about a nail salon :p) but it's true! They are very welcoming. You really feel that they care about their clients. They give you free bottled water once you get sited. They don't rush you. They encourage you to just relax. When I was having my pedi done. The guy (i believe the owner) asked me if i wanted my mani to be started or do i just want to relax. This is my go-to nail salon in Rancho Cucamonga. I've been to a few around here, but find myself coming back to Modern Nails. Nicole always does a great job and has figured out how to cure my painful ingrowns. It's clean without a horrible wait for a Friday afternoon as a walk-in. I also get my eyebrows waxed here from time to time since it is cheaper than my threading salon. Just tried their opi gel laquer polish for my french manicure. Went to this place last minute for my brothers wedding to have a pedi and a full set of nails. Pedi was prefect I will definitely have that done maybe twice a month. But my nails.... I dont know maybe I'll have another person do it but she missed the sides of my figure nail, started to bubble and fall off with in 2 days! Love this place and not for any particular reason because it's not fancy. I think my love affair comes from them always being very kind, my pedicures last forever and they are very clean. What more could I ask for? A basic spa pedicure is $20 and I have cheaped out and gone to other places but my pedicure never lasts as long. In the end, it's a bargain. read more

Vivian was amazing :) thank you! I went around 6:20pm. I told them I wanted basic pedicure and gel manicure. I picked out the cutest tiffany blue for my gel nails. It was true to color, but it was a little too light (as i saw my nail through the color still). Vivian did my nails and she was so amazing. She wasn't pushy and did exactly what I wanted. She was super friendly, but not overbearing :) Loved her. So cute. My pedicure, i forgot who she was but I told her ahead of time that my big toe nail broke off recently because I went hiking. And I told her not to really touch it... but she freaking decides to touch it and hurt me. Even though I got really mad, i didn't get mad at her. I just reminded her not to touch it and it really does hurt when she touches it. Other than that, I loved my experience here. It was a little expensive but it didn't matter because service was great. Love this place. Ask for the man. When I asked for his name, he said that they call him "honey". I don't know why and I don't care cause "honey" can do some nails! My fill is fantastic and I got exactly what I asked for. Modern Nails is also reasonably priced, 15 bucks for my fill. The shop is kinda small but put together well, very elegant but most importantly, QUIET!. Very tranquil experience for me compared to other nail shops I've visited in this area. I also like the good customer service here. The employees are really nice and professional and they don't constantly speak their language loudly over you.
