I'm honestly disappointed. I always get acrylic but this was my first time getting a manicure to let my nails breathe from the acrylic. Always I asked for a black color but she decided for me that pink looks better .and I was fine with the pink but when once she put it on me I asked her twice if the color was going to look darker because it was so light that it looks like she didn't put anything on. She said yes . I told her that I want it darker and just ignored me. She suggested that I should put glitter powder and it was going to look more darker. I asked her how much it was going to be with the glitter. she never responded to me and just ignored me twice and just put it on. Once she was finished so told me it was going to be $45. I was pretty upset that's she changed me $10 for the glitter that's I never asked for. When the other lady was finishing up with my pedicure I heard how much they were charging another person for their nails with acrylic and it was the same price as my manicure. And I questioned her about it and told her that was ridiculous. I did pay because I'm not one of those people. But honestly I shouldn't have. I'm really upset and I don't think I will be going back. Was driving down Archibald to go to another nail salon when I saw their 18.99 spa pedicure sign outside. I decided to turn around and try this place out. When I walked in I asked how much a pedicure was and the women immediately jumped to $35 ,$45. So I asked her then "why is there a $18.99 sign outside?" I've been coming here for years. I usually book an appointment ahead of time with Michael he does an amazing job. Unfortunately I went randomly and he was helping another customer so I proceeded to be helped by another staff member. She was quite nice but the work she did on my nails was absolutely horrible ! I first asked for another color and the nail color looked really streaky so then I asked her if she could just paint them all white which she did. The shape is horrible and thick and I had multiple dents on my nails! If lily was there today I would've told her I did not like my nails but she was not at the shop and I did not want to bother her. I am on town for a concert visiting from Arizona. I looked through multiple nail salons but decided on this one. It was open on Sunday and close toy hotel which was a plus. I called to ask if they had time to do my fill & pedicure. They told me that it was ok to come immediately. I got there, was greeted within a minute or two. I waited about 25 minutes before getting in the pedicure chair. Mimi came over with a friendly, bubbly personality. Then, came Michael who did my fill. I have gone to the same nail salon back home almost 10 years, so I am leary allowing other people to do my nails. Let me just tell you that the work the did was top notch! For my gel fill and pedicure with the callus removal, sea salt scrub, hot rock massage, mask plus everything in their top pedicure packure was about $20-$25 cheaper than in AZ. It $73 verses the $93-$98 that I typically am charged at home. It was obvious that Michael was a perfectionist and very good at his job. Although, more on the quiet side. He was very fast and didn't put all that extra product on my nails that he needed to file off for 30 minutes. Mimi took pride in making sure my feet were baby soft. Also, the massage she did on my feet and legs dang near put me to sleep. I love my nails & feet! I'm so thankful that I found this nail salon. I will be back every time I'm in town! I came in for a simple gel manicure and this experience took a disappointing turn. 1. When removing my cuticle I began to bleed on two different fingers. And my manicurist proceeded to pour alcohol on it causing profuse pain without warning. 2. Instead of based coat my "manicurist" used top coat and had to buff it out and start the process over. I told her that I no longer wished to proceed with the gel and told her to just add a polish color. 3. She painted my nails in literally 3 minutes sat me down in the drying section and as I went to pay she wanted to charged me $15!!! I refused to pay $15 dollars for some nail polish and bloody nail beds and after 5 minutes of wasted time and yelling between two manicurists they dropped the price. I just moved here a few months ago and have been in desperate need of a little self care.. I literally searched Google maps for nail salon and saw this place less than a mile from me. I needed to be in and out in less than an hour and let them know ahead of time they said I would make it on time to go pick up my son from school I initially went in for just a set of acrylics but they talked me into a pedicure and I'm so glad they did I even got gel nails on my toes. They were so professional and the atmosphere is nice I even went for the sugar scrub and scrub to remove the calluses off my feet it felt so good and the whole time I sat in a massage chair half talking to them and half listening to music total relaxation and they did such a great job on everything I highly recommend and will recommend my sisters, my mom and all my friends read more

So I decided to go back to Elegant Touch because I like the job they had done and did a great fill, lasted a great time. I recently went on Sunday, September 2, 2018; got a full set, delux pedi, and eyebrows waxing. Lee even did my nail style I wanted, where other place said they couldn't. It's been less than 2 weeks (September 12, 2018) and my full set completely came off and my pedi looks a mess (pedi done by someone else). I did my nails with Gel Polish, which is more so my nails should've lasted longer. I guess I ll keep trying new places, until I find someone worth my money. My family and i have been coming here for years,, but today i finally had enough .. my problem here is the owner always over books her appointments for the salon, and when we come in we still have to wait 30 minutes or more , and when its busy they usher you in like cattle and 10 -15 minutes later ,you get a half ass job and your thinking what the happened when your shelling out a couple of hundred dallors for getting extra stuff done that you didn't ask for ..so screw the loyal customer for the sake of money!!! read more

I go to this place quite a bit since it's close to my house. They do a decent job. My nails look ok after but they never really do a great job shaping my nails. Not a big deal. However, twice now, I've gone in for a fill and they have completely ignored a nail that obviously had a fungus growing under it. I saw it when I was there and thought it was dirty, then the next time I had my nails done over by my work, they actually told me about the fungus and asked if it had already been treated. This happened twice. I probably won't go back to them unless I'm strapped for time. This situation tells me they are just running through customers to bring the money in, not actually caring about the customer. read more

I wasn't even going to bother with a review but the longer I sit and look at my nails the more and more I get pissed off I came here to get my nails painted in a simple white color before laying my dad to rest and at first everything was going fine COVID compliant I'm enjoying my nail tech until she starts painting SHE DID A HORRIBLE JOB and had the AUDACITY to charge me $45 for a job she knew she did bad on !!! Not only did she cut my cuticles up she then dowsed them in alcohol then she clipped my nails crooked and when it was time to apply a second coat she literally painted one stroke down the middle it's so sad the job she tried to pass as done or even up to par I got them done yesterday and it looks like I got them done a week ago already I even had to repeatedly tell her to paint to the top of my nail leaving so much space at the top it looks like new growth it was horrible now I'm stuck with these UGLY misshaped poorly done nails and I'm so sad about it I have to make it work but I can't believe they allow work like this to come out of their shop shame on you UNELEGANT NAILS read more

I'm giving this place a two because everyone there except the lady that did my nails were so nice and accommodating. They seem to connect with their customers and that at least deserves more than 1 star. I don't know her name but when I got there I was getting my pedicure done and a lady came to do my manicure. She used a pretty big clippers. She sloppily and quickly trimmed my nails. At that point I didn't really mind because I was getting acrylics so it was going to be covered anyways but I just hoped that she wasn't going to continue to do my nails at the pace she was going. I tried giving her directions but she looks at me with an annoyed so I just sat there without saying anything. My nails are bulky, uneven, and so dang sloppy. I've debated on posting this but decided I should. I have been going to this shop for about a year and have never had a problem. I went in on Friday April 6th for a brand new set. I was celebrating my birthday in Cabo the following week, and got a brand new set (ombre, coffin shape, with diamonds on two fingers). 5 days later (while in Cabo) ALL of the nails come off. As you can see from the pictures, the nails completely lifted off. When I came back from my trip I went in to the shop. Ended up speaking to Lilly, who said I could get my nails done again and she wouldn't charge me for gel polish. Really!? I just paid for a brand new set that didn't last a week and that was her solution. She could tell I wasn't pleased and then said she would do my new set for half price, blaming my natural nail for not being compatible with pink powder, even though I've had ombre SEVERAL times from various shops without a problem. Frustrated, I initially made an appointment but ended up not going in. Her poor customer service really rubbed me the wrong way and I won't be going back. I was a consistent customer (every two weeks) and she really could've done the right thing by re-doing my nails free of charge, considering their product didn't even hold up a week. I never had a problem with my nails until this visit. Beware of getting an ombre set!!! read more

I came in for a pedicure today and as usual they were great with greeting. The woman who did my feet did not want to do my pedicure. Her name is MiMi. Mimi did the worst job. I've been here before so I was surprised at the service I received. When I sat down she greeted me, however when I denied a callous removal the service got worse. Mimi did not manicure my feet, she quickly went through cutting, only the nails on one foot and filing the nas on the other. I also did not want gel as it's bad on MMYY toes, this should not have been a problem The man next to me received a waaay better service and he didn't even get color. I asked mimi to just do a regular pedicure with a foot scrub (this is my norm) she then scrubs only the top part of my foot. When it came to color, I chose the one I wanted. When she was done I looked down at my toes to see THICK lumpy color. She said "regular color is hard for me" well, if it's hard for you call someone who it's not hard for. When I asked her to remove it because the color was not neat, she said she would charge me $5 for the change. I decided to just get clear coat. Mimi proceeded to talk over me and was disrespectful. I asked her if she was mad at me to which she said "no" but mimi was not accommodating. She did not want to fix the bad job she did on my feet. I want to go back but due to the lack of care they did on my feet I'm one woman who will even say anything against the many who just ignore the problems when it comes to salons like this one. I hope the owner start to care more about quality and less about quantity or customers. read more
