I came to Pretty Kitty for my first-ever Brazilian and honestly... ouch. They used soft wax, which is absolutely not ideal for such a sensitive service. Please do your research -- reputable salons typically use hard wax because it's gentler and much less painful. I forgot the name of the girl who did my service, but she didn't make me feel comfortable at all. She was very quiet, didn't explain anything, and just pulled the wax without any warning or reassurance. For a first-timer, that made the experience worse. I really wanted to like this place, but based on my experience, I wouldn't come back for waxing services. Hoping they improve their techniques and customer care. read more

I'm writing about an incident that occurred over a year ago, however I hadn't written it due to embarrassment. I was being waxed by Karen who I had frequently been seeing every 6-8 weeks. On this day, it was the afternoon and her and I were in the room while she had just began my Brazilian. All of a sudden I heard someone abruptly open the door into my wax room and it was a lady asking where the restroom was. Karen and I looked up in disarray and she said this isn't the restroom. She tried covering my private parts but I fear the customer had saw me as she physically walked into the room. I was in shock and Karen was extremely apologetic. I felt that she was also embarrassed and tried to make light of the situation but i was so distraught I didn't know how to react. I left that day and never went back. I don't blame Karen at all, however the fact that a customer was able to have access to my room that easily while my service was being done made me feel extremely uneasy. I do wish The Pretty Kitty had a way to prevent others from easily accessing the rooms as there's really just a door and a curtain separating the lobby to the rooms. I probably won't ever go back but I hope this message finds the establishment and can provide some guidance on reassuring this won't happen again. read more

I have been coming to this location for a very long time. I've always received great customer service. The location is clean and very pretty. Yayy you can book online now. Great, right? But guess what job they have eliminated the receptionist in the front. So now, the esthetician has to manage clients and cleaning between people? And still provide EXCELLENT service? How can someone provide excellent service having to jungle all that? Well, today I met Chloe and wow. She rolled her eyes and rolled her neck, explaining to me what she did not want to do. I already have been dragging my feet to come because the quality of work hasn't been the best. But now the customer service has gone down too? Luckily, the other esthetician was there, and she completed my service. If the policy changed, that's fine, but Chloe couldn't even explain that she just rolled her eyes and told me what she WAS NOT going to do today because they were short staff. That's fine everywhere is short staff and people call off that don't give anyone the pass to be rude person. If someone doesn't want to deal with customer service, then find another job. I booked with Liane, she was straight to the point didnt even acknowledge it was my first time and acted carelessly during my appointment and i wasing going to tip her cause obviously it just wasnt a good experience for me but they made me tip her. read more

I do not have a go to girl yet , but every girl that has done my wax has been super friendly, quick and over all made the experience wonderful. Everything!!! I went for the Brazilian; 2nd visit,1st time the whole thing!! The reception lobby is clean and comfy. The staff is amazing!! The rooms are cleaned after every use, you get in and they get you out without the feeling of being rushed. Hats off to Kelli. My waxer was Cinthia and she was amazing ! I come here all the time and this is the first time I got her. She took her time with my Brazilian and even took the time to pluck out any stragglers. Never going back. I have gone to this location for many years. They've have had good waxers that I have liked, but then they leave or get transferred. My last two visits were bad, so never going back. The second to last visit was with my normal waxer, but she was rushed and didn't do a good job. They need to get you out in 15 min. I had gone in right before my vacation and while I was sitting on the beach, I realized that she had missed a spot. So embarrassing! Then the last time, my waxer wasn't in as she was transferred to another location. The one that waxed me seemed like she was hating life and it was a chore to even breathe. She wasn't friendly and didn't even do a good job. I shouldn't even have tipped her but I did. The receptionists also seem like they would rather be elsewhere. I always tip well and am always on time, but haven't been getting good service in return. So time to take my business elsewhere - with friendlier staff and wavers who actually focus on the wax as opposed to meeting the 15 minute mark. Good thing is that there are so many other options! I am not new to getting Brazilians. Usually the estheticians take their time during the waxing process strictly for my comfort but this place does their waxing in such a rush. After 3 back to back FAST strips, I had to let the girl know that if she can slow down because it hurt. I wasn't about to start my period or have had coffee, which is what she blamed my pain on, and the service was just awful. I'm used to getting a full service of steam, exfoliation, ingrown removal and after care but this was just not it. I had a bad experience considering how vulnerable Brazilian waxes can be and I don't recommend going to this place. read more

This review is not about the quality of the aestheticians. This review is about the quality of the service that I had received from the person who verifies appointments. I was told this morning that they called to confirm an appointment and was unable to leave a message on my voicemail last night. That is a flat out lie. My phone is on With the availability of leaving a message at all times. I have a son that is on active duty and deployed. So for someone to tell me that my voicemail was unavailable is unacceptable and a flat out lie. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.
