I found Impressive Nails & Spa by luck when I showed up and found the previous nail salon had closed their business for good and a new nail salon was on the cusp of having a soft opening. The owners, Ben and Tracy have done a fantastic job at remodeling the interior with new chairs, workstations, private room for wax and facials plus one dedicated hair station. I've become "a regular" by first name and look forward to my bi-monthly services which include facials, manicures and pedicures. If I'm not mistaken, they have grown and now have two additional staff members who both work very efficient and meticulous who demonstrate good etiquette. In the last six months, I've experienced early morning appointment before going to work which was very nice to have the entire shop to myself and I've come at mid-day and evenings. I haven't really experienced a busy hour but I'm sure the clientele is growing steadily. Both Ben & Tracy are very generous and have gifted me with Vietnamese coffee to take home, complimentary drinks while getting pampered and most importantly, good conversation in learning more about each other is always welcomed and appreciated. I came to impressive nails by recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad I did. Tracy was my nail tech today and I had a pedicure with regular polish and I did gel X for my first time. Tracy was super friendly and she answered all of my questions about gel x. In general, I like to keep my nails on the shorter side, and Tracy did not try to change my mind on the length which I really appreciated. She was able to pick a great red color and also executed the Valentines design I wanted for my nails. Impressive Nails is priced VERY reasonably for their gel x compared to other salons in the area. The salon was very clean and everyone that was there was friendly. I called this morning for an appointment and was able to get in within 30 minutes of calling. It can be very hard to switch nail salons when you've been going somewhere for so long but coming to Impressive Nails was great and I will definitely be back for my gel x fill. Things to note: there is a service fee for payment with credit/debit card and you can add tip to your credit/debit transaction. read more

Super frustrated. Called same-day made an appointment for 10:30 AM. They put me in the water after about 10 minutes of waiting but didn't start until 1105. I told them multiple times I had to be at work by 12 PM, it only takes me five minutes to get to work. They told me it would be fine... Well, These are the results of a rushed job. I also paid extra for paraffin and they wanted to let it sit on my feet for 10 or 15 minutes (normal) which of course I now did not have time for now, so after two minutes, I had to tell her to take it off Because it was already approaching 12 PM, and I couldn't be much later for work. Then the lady doing my feet unfortunately didn't speak or understand English. She did the callus removal without telling me that it cost extra. So on top of waiting 35 minutes for an appointment, having a rushed job, now being over 20 minutes late for work, they tried to charge me extra for some thing I didn't ask for. The gentleman taking the payment was nice enough to say it happens all the time because she doesn't speak English and so he removed the charge - but if you know this is an ongoing problem, find a way to fix it. perhaps she could hold up a sign showing what the cost is or someone else could speak on her behalf. But more than anything I'm upset with how my toes look. There's a whole piece of nail missing that wasn't missing when I arrived and the paint is thick... I'll just let the picture speak for themselves. I'll be paying for a polish change when I get time and going elsewhere. SMH. Maybe this was a one off experience but I will not be back. read more

I am so glad I decided to try this nail salon, i was out of there in less than 2 hours. I made an appointment the day before just in case and they took me right away. It was so clean and they offered me a coffee while I sat. They were such nice ladies, and Tracy did my gel x set and it came out exactly how I wanted! RUNNN away from this nail shop! They also have open cases against them in the BBB website!!! I came in for a basic manicure and of course they try to up sale you a more expensive service I kept telling Tracie no no no I want regular polish. She did a gel polish anyway and a 3 days later it was lifting I showed Ben my nail and of course total denial they did anything wrong! Anyway she did my manicure but took out way too much cuticle causing me to get an infection I've called them and told them what they did the owner who I know is hiding saying there's a different Owner is saying that the cause of my nail infection isn't from them! I had to go to the dr and be put in antibiotics for 10days and now my nail won't grow back and it's black! They either used dirty tools or they don't know what the hell they are doing! They kept saying this has never happened before well guess what Ben & Tracie there's a first for everything and unfortunately I had to pay the price! I should've known this place was not a clean place! It's dark, dirty and very outdated. Currently waiting to see what actions I need to take next because I know very well they caused major damage to my nail. So save your nails spend a little extra and go to a clean place there's so many in that area I should've did more research! And go based off of your instincts. read more

I have dermatitis on my feet that causes thick, tough callouses and this is the first place that has actually taken the time and done the work to remove them. Also, they cut and color hair there as well, in case you need a full make over. They offer facials as well, however I didn't get one during my visit. Came here for the first time today with my friend. Initially, the atmosphere seemed friendly and welcoming. We were offered tea or coffee. This atmosphere was nice until my friend and I got seated. I wanted a French tip and my friend wanted something similar. Stacy did my nails, and Kevin the owner, did my friends. While I got my nails done the owner's wife (I didn't get her name) just stood beside me and talked to Stacy. I was asked multiple times how I wanted my nails done and I said French tip. While I was seated in the chair getting my manicure, I was then asked to sit in the chair to get the Pedi done. I was asked what color I wanted, and I asked if I could see what they had. I tried to look for a color but Stacy started working on my nails again making it difficult for me to look at the colors. Stacy also asked me what color I wanted more than once, I told her I felt rushed. She said she wasn't doing my feet, so I didn't get why she kept asking. Anyway, I picked a color and as soon as I said I didn't want gel I got an attitude for both nail techs. They kept trying to convince me to get gel and I said no. The lady did a horrible job on my feet and while that was happening Stacy was doing an even worse job on my fingernails. My friend eventually joined me and the owner and his brother asked her how she liked her nails and didn't bother asking me. They knew it was terrible because they walked by and looked sporadically. The owner never pointed to me while talking to a customer. I asked the owner why he didn't ask about mine and he finally took a look and said they look good to him. His saying that confirmed he doesn't care. Look at the picture. They also offered my friend cookies; when she declined, the owner's brother said to her "Ask your friend if she wants one". I told him he could ask me directly and I declined as well. To me, their behavior showed blatant disregard for women of color like me. The icing on the cake was the owner's brother asking if I wanted to leave a tip, very laughable. I tipped the woman who did my pedicure because she was the only one who seemed like a decent person. (Until I tried to hand her the tip) They had cameras all around the place, I hope they review their footage and learn something. The $160 plus dollars they charged for my friend and me will be the last dollar we spend there. They asked if my friend would come back and not me of course. Go here at your own risk. Lol read more

I really wanted to like this place. I made an appointment about 5 days beforehand thinking that would help save me time as I was going during my daughters nap. When I got there, I arrived 10 minutes early but I ended up having to wait an additional 45 minutes before I was helped. The lady that did my nails was super sweet and very nice, and everything was going fine until another customer with an appointment came in and questioned why she had to wait if she had an appointment. After that, one of the other nail techs came over and said something I didn't understand, but from that point forward, everything was rushed. All my nails ended up different lengths. One of my nails wasn't even completely covered by the acrylic nail. The gel polish was not layered to be solid, so areas were a bit transparent. 2 weeks after my appointment, my nails were already lifting, and a few had already completely broken. I considered going back, but being that I spent over 2 hours the first time, I chose not to. read more
